  • Domino Lotus Mail Integration With Webcenter Spaces

    Hello,
I am looking for solution for Domino Lotus Mail Integration with Webcenter Spaces, can you please let me know any one having any technical idea how to integrate with webcenter spaces.
    Please provide the solution.
    Thanks,
    Chandra

For registering a mail server to WebCenter Spaces, see this link: http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E21764_01/webcenter.1111/e12405/wcadm_mail.htm#WCADM238
If you want to do more advanced stuff like synchronizing calendar events in Spaces with events registered at Domino Server, I'm not sure whether it is possible out-of-the-box. There is an API for synchronization with MS Exchange (based on web services), so provided that Domino Server has a similar interface you could try the same approach.
If you want to run WebCenter apps/portlets in Lotus front-end environment, I'm almost sure it is impossible.

  • Lotus Notes integration with WebCenter?

I need to integrate Lotus Notes in WebCenter without using Adapters .can anyone help me out??
    Thxs in Advance
    praveena

    hi praveena,
you should be able to use the lotus notes portlet that is provided as part of the OracleAS Provider for Lotus Notes.
    http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/ias/portal/point_downloads.html#lotus
the portlet was originally designed for oracle portal but you should be able to register it in WebCenter as well.

  • Integration of Microsoft OCS 2007 with WebCenter Spaces 11G PS4

    Hi All,
I want to know has anyone successfully integrate Microsoft OCS 2007 with WebCenter Spaces 11G PS4? If yes, pls share detail. Thank you.
    Regards,

    Hi,
I am also facing the same issue, not sure about what url to use. And also the login webservice doesn't work while I am testing using http://localhost:81/RTC/RTCService.asmx. It always throwing the following error
" Unable to cast COM object of type 'RTCLib.RTCClientClass' to interface type 'RTCLib.IRTCClient'. This operation failed because the QueryInterface call on the COM component for the interface with IID '{07829E45-9A34-408E-A011-BDDF13487CD1}' failed due to the following error: No such interface supported (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80004002 (E_NOINTERFACE))."
Is the current owc_lcs.zip support MS Office Communication Server 2007?
Please share the configuration step if anyone already integrated OCS 2007.
    Thanks,

  • Is BOE 4.0 integrated with Data Services XI 4.0

    Hi,
I have gone through some blogs and documentation on Data Services XI 4.0 and some where it is mentioned that BOE 4.0 is integrated with Data Services XI 4.0. Is it true? If it is true then i want to know how can we integrate BOE 3.1 SP2 with data services XI 4.0 because right now we are using BOE 3.1 SP2, BW 7.01 and want to install Data Services XI 4.0 unless there is no compatibility issue between them.
I need this information immediately because we have to install data services if its compatible with BOE 3.1 SP2 and BW 7.01.

    Hi Aditya,
From the XI 4.0 Data Services Upgrade Manual:
2.1 Major changes in Data Services XI 4.0
Unlike previous releases of Data Services and Data Integrator, SAP BusinessObjects Data Services
XI 4.0 introduces central user management, which relies on SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise. Users
are authenticated against the SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise security, and repositories are registered
    in SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise.
You can use either an existing SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise XI 4.0 installation to manage Data
Services users and repositories, or SAP BusinessObjects Information platform services, which is availabe
to all Data Services customers and contains the required SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise services for
    user management.
For information about installing SAP BusinessObjects Information platform services, see the SAP
    BusinessObjects Data Services Installation Guide.
So it sounds like you can't use an exisiting BOE XI 3.1 CMC, but would need to upgrade it to XI 4.0 or use the SAP BusinessObjects Information platform services, which is included with XI 4.0 Data Services.

  • What is the portal that comes with webcenter suite 11g?

    Hello,
What is the portal that comes with webcenter suite 11g?
How to retrieve the content from UCM using this portal?
    -Scott

    Scott,
The JCR adpater can be configured against Oracle Content Server(UCM), file system and Oracle Portal. This gives you only the read feature on the repository. However the web center frame work also provides you the Document Library Task flows with both Read/Write capabilities and other capabilities like recent documents, search etc. The task flows can also customized to suit your UI requirements as well. In addition to this there is a content presenter Task flow available where Business Users can display formatted content from UCM on web center page. This is similar to the content presenter portlet available inside WLP.

  • Siebel 8.1 integration with BI Publisher 11g

    Hello,
I'm currently trying to integrate BI Publisher reporting with Siebel 8.1 at work. We've followed the guide named " [BI Publisher for Siebel Applications Guide|http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E14004_01/books/Reports/ReportsTOC.html] ", which you can find in the Oracle BI Publisher documentation website: [http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/middleware/bi-publisher/documentation/index.html].
The problem is that this guide is meant to be used with the Oracle 10g version and we are using BI Publisher 11.1.1.5.0 (client's request).
We installed the new version without problems and reached the step "[Copying JAR Files to the Oracle BI Publisher Server|http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E14004_01/books/Reports/ReportsIntegrate11.html#wp551748]".
But since BI Publisher 11g runs on a Web Logic Server, instead of an Oracle Application Server (correct me if I'm wrong, I'm kind of new to the whole Oracle world), the file structures have changed and we cannot find the directory where we're supposed to copy those JAR files.
I kept reading the guide, in case we could skip this step and maybe find where those files are supposed to be later... but then again I found myself in a similar problem, since I need to place a Siebel WSDL file in a BI Publisher directory for importing, which I cannot find either.
Does anybody know how to accomplish this task or if it is even possible to use these software versions together? Could anyone at least point us to the right direction on where to look for this information?
    Thank you in advance.

We actually ran into a similar problem where I work. I created a support web ticket for our issue and the response is that BIP 11G is not supported for integration with Siebel 8.1, or any other version for that matter. Oracle is currently working on a fix to integrated the latest version of Siebel with BIP.
There advice to me was to downgrade to BIP 10G for the time being.

  • SES with Webcenter Services?

    Hi,
Is SES now part of Webcenter services ( [as this page makes me believe |http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/webcenter/services.html] ). If so, what are the restrictions concerning content repositories?

    Hi
Send a DataGroupArray with zero elements
When you are trying to access from the browser the following would help:

  • DRM Integration with Shared services

    Hi,
Could someone help me how to integrate DRM with Shared services? Is there any document which helps me with the same?
    Thanks
    Arathi.

    Hi Arathi,
You'll be delighted to hear that I found a solution to your question.
    1. Create a user in DRM and select to manage user in "Active Directory", LDAP or NTLM.
    2. Create the same user in Shared Services (same name u wrote in DRM), give it a password then you're done.
    3. When you log into DRM, it will use the shared services password.
It kinda bothered me that's why i gave it a thought and did a lil bit of reading to find it out. Hope you get it right.

  • EM self Service interface integration with WebCenter Portal

    Hi,
I just have a question from my customer which is: how we can integrate the Self Service interface from EM 12c into WebCenter portal? Did anyone tried this before ? how easy was that and what steps are required?
    Thanks

Search also uses an absolute path, so it will need to start from /sp:Site/sp:RootWeb.
There is also the option of making the search recursive or not.
One way to explore how the simple search works, is to create a new JSF JSP page, and then to first drop the data control's search method onto that page and take Parameters > ADF Parameter Form. Click OK to accept any defaults. Now drop the return of the search method onto the same page, and drop it as, say, an ADF read-only table, again click ok to accept all the columns.
Now follow the documented steps that you need to do to make this runnable (i.e. adding the sharepoint library), and run the page.
When you run the page, you'll be able to explore possible values for input path's and search strings to see how it behaves. I suggest you start by searching in a small Document Library, so you can familiarise yourself with how it is working.
So, suppose you have a SharePoint Document Library called TestDocuments, then its path should look like:
    /sp:Site/sp:RootWeb/sp:Lists/TestDocuments/sp:Files
then enter true for "isRecursive" and suppose you have a document in this library named MyTestDocument.doc, then try looking for a name pattern MyTest%.
Also, you can go back to your getItems page - the one that is displaying the whole repository as a tree - and use that to find what the absolute paths are to your data. You'll need to supply that absolute path as the starting point for your searches.

  • Third Party Ticketing Tool integration with solman service desk scenario

    Hi,
I need any guidance on integration Of third Party ticketing tools like OVSD with the SAP Solution Manager Service Desk Scenario.
    Regards,
    Kaustubh.

    Hi Maheshwar,
What I am trying to do is, try to maintain the data like,,
    Caller ID-- sender
    Assignment of workgroup--
    Search Code--
    Priority--
    and description--
now some of these are constants that we need not determine every time.
but my question is, can we maintain these as a set of parameters in the method definitionunder parameters tabjust similar to MAIL_HEADER...which is displayed in the mail alert.
we already have a scenario maintained in the HPSD where it reads the mail picks up specific content based on key words, and creates a ticket.
and If we can maintain these by modifying the method, then where can we maintain the multiple data/options for this
And also please send me what were the steps u have done.
U used a Z method or customized the Function module??
Bcz in my case I think I will have to do both..
    Regards,
    Kaustubh.

  • IOP 11.1.2.0 integration with Shared Services (User Provisioning)

In the IOP 11.1.2.0 install guide, the Admin and Admin provisioning roles are provisioned through Shared Services.

Is there an IOP user provisioning example in the shared services user's guide, and which version of the guide would I find that in?
Access priveledges are controlled from the Admin workbench for IOP users, per p.145 of the IOP 11.1.2.00 user's guide.
    Thank you.

IOP Roles are listed in the 11.1.2 Shared Services User and Role Security Guide, on page 158:
    Integrated Operational Planning Roles
Table 39 Integrated Operational Planning Roles
    Roles Tasks per Role
Provisioning Manager Provisions users and groups with Disclosure Management roles
IOP Administrator Administers Oracle Integrated Operational Planning, Fusion Edition. IOP Administrators can modify models, access
ACL pages, and perform all Integrated Operational Planning tasks
IOP User P erforms Oracle Integrated Operational Planning, Fusion Edition actions as a normal user
