Loud buzz only on export

Hello,
I had an issue a couple days ago with an export. After exporting a sequence to .mxf, I noticed during playback of the exported file, certain sections had a loud buzz sound that kind of mimicked digital feedback. It only happened during certain clips, 5 seconds here and there (usually the exact length of a clip). I tried exporting as a .mp4, h.264 and still had the same results. Then I tried exporting as a .mp3, that also gave me the same result. When I played it back on the timeline it played fine. I tried exporting using premiere and AME and got the same result. I ended up recording the footage over again and replacing the troubled clips on the timeline, this seemed to work. I exported a couple projects yesterday with no trouble. Then it raised its ugly head again tonight. I really can't figure out what's happening. I've done the usual restart everything, create a new sequence and start from scratch. Nothing is working. I'm working on an iMac 27"  (the model before 5k), all the Adobe software is up to date. I ingest and rewrap footage using prelude / AME. Mixed footage, XDCAM HD 1080i60 (50), XDCAM EX 1080i60 (35) both .mxf, I also had a few h.264 MP4 files. Any help at all would be great. Thanks.

Hi,
Sorry you're experiencing this issue. Can you file a bug report on this (http://adobe.ly/ReportBug) so the team will know? I see something similar in our database that was fixed in 7.2, so it's important that you let us know your specific issue with info about your media and hardware.
In the mean time, sorry, but sending it to Audition might be the best workaround.
Thanks,
Kevin

  • ITunes 7 and very loud buzz during music playback

I upgraded to iTunes 7 and now when I play music on my iMac G4 I occasionally get a very loud buzz breaking into the music. It seems totally unpredictable and it sounds like a very loud, annoying alarm. I think it only appears in the left-hand speaker, but not sure. It never happened with previous versions of iTunes and I haven't added any additional software since upgrading iTunes and Quicktime. It's such a jarring sound that I'm almost too scared to play music through iTunes now because the buzz creates a real shock to the nerves when it happens. Any ideas? I haven't adjusted any preference defaults in iTunes or Quicktime since downloading the upgrades.

Same issue here with iPhone 6 iOS 8.1.3 and now with iOS 8.2.  New Pioneer DEH6700BS.  Took back to shop and had new deck replaced - SAME ISSUE. Mine is around 7:30 minute and same drop out right after that as you are seeing.  I have tested with iPod Touch and my son's iPhone 5C and I don't get this issue despite multiple testing scenarios.  Looks like the common denominator is the iPhone 6.

  • Horrifyingly loud buzz sound happens after I burn and eject a disc, WHY??

    Hey everyone,
So this insanely loud, like blowing out my speakers loud, buzzing sound, comes out of my speakers after I rip a cd and eject it. Has this ever happened to anyone???
    Here are the specific details:
This has happened only twice before, but just happened twice tonight.
The sound itself is a short burst of noise, like if you ever plugged into a guitar amp with the volume at max.
It only makes that sound when I remove the CD, if it sits halfway in the drive it wont make the noise till I pull it out.
I am using iTunes on an Intel based iMac.
Its almost 1am and it really is scary and disconcerting when this happens, especially because it happened twice in one night! Imagine listening quietly to music and then this MASSIVE loud noise blasts through your speakers late at night. Its like my computer just yelled me...
    Anyways, thanks your time
    Best,
    -Reid

To see if this is something actually going through the iMac's sound system (and not some hardware malfunction), mute the sound in System Preferences Sound pane. Then do whatever it is that makes the sound occur"? Does the sound still occur, or is it now muted. Actually, you don't need to mute the sound, just make it lower. That way, you can tell if the sound still occurred. Is the loudness affected by the sound volume setting?

  • Loud buzz when typing

Hi, not to sure if this topic has been done before, basically my phone was fine when I got it a week and a half ago and then it started, when I touch the keys at the bottom or type the vibration is on low but there's a loud buzz when I touch the keys. I've tried turning the vibration intensity up and down and the buzz is still there. I've seen other posts on google about this but nothing to say what happened after they complained. My partner has the same phone and his only makes the buzz sound every two or three types. When the phone rings it's the same. I tested it against a note 3 and there was no noise when the keys were pressed with the vibration on. Can anyone help?
    Thanks :-)

  • PP CS6 - Loud buzzing during playback after modifying timeline

    Hi all,
I've been searching and searching for solutions to my problem, and while I found a few results that seemed to be similar, none of them describe my problem.
While working on a project and changing/inserting/deleting/otherwise modifying clips on the timeline, initiation of playback brings with it a very loud buzzing noise in the right channel of my headphones. This sound only lasts about 0.1s, but is incredibly loud and piercing. It does not happen every time I change something and then play back, and I am not sure what could be the cause of the problem.
    My specs:
    iMac 27-inch, Late 2012, 2.9 GHz Intel Core i5, 16GB 1600MHz DDR3, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660M 512MB, OS X 10.8.4
Adobe Creative Suite Production Premium CS6
I should mention that previously I was having problems with Premiere Pro CS6 crashing when performing certain activies such as clicking an item in the menu bar or playing back the timeline. However, these problems were solved by performing a reinstallation and cleaning out any cache-like area I could find on my Mac.

I realize this post is quite a few months old, but I am having the same problem as well.  But I'm on CC now.  Me and 3 other guys in our office have this problem as well and it's extremely frustrating.  I have 32 gb ram installed on my mac. It looks like I have the same specs as thedboydguy's computer as well.  I will do some edits, click on the timeline to move my cursor and this extremely loud buzz sound fills my headphones for like .1 seconds.  I have sensitive ears and this is very hard to take. If anyone has found a solution to this, it would help me very much.  I have installed many updates over the past few months and they still haven't fixed it.

  • Klopfgeist emits loud buzz during playback with click division

Hey - this is a dopey question I almost asked, before solving it myself.  I'm posting it in case anyone else encounters it.
Any time I have the metronome playing with DIVISION clicks during a certain project, there is very loud buzz sound through my speakers.
I did some troubleshooting, and narrowed down the following:
    1. the problem occurs even when I change to a different audio interface (it only started after I started using a new interface)
    2. the problem occurs currently ONLY in ONE certain (large project), but not in new projects
    3. the problem occurs ONLY when I have metronome DIVISION turned on, but not with bar or beat clicks
The good news is that it's restricted to this one project.
    Any guesses?
I had the division value set to 192 because I was using the [] keyboard shortcuts to move the cursor in as small a division as possible with a keyboard shortcut.  If you want to know what a 192nd note sounds like, it sounds like this: BUZZZZZZZZZZZ.
    heh.

  • Won't turn on, flashing light, loud buzzing when I try to charge it?

My ipod died in April and I got a replacement from the apple store as it was still (just!) under warranty. I woke up in the middle of the night last night because my ipod was flashing - not on and off, just a blank flashing light. I tried turning it on and off but it didn't work and didn't even turn on.
When I got up today the flashing had stopped. I tried charging it but as soon as I plugged in the lead from my computer it started making a really loud buzzing noise. I don't mean the whirring/clicking noise that seems to be common enough when they die (that's what happened my last one, but it would turn on and display the battery with exclamation mark), but a real buzzing sound.
It started flashing again too after being plugged in for less than a minute. I left it plugged in for a while but the noise was driving me crazy so I've unplugged it now.
Has anyone come across this problem before? I haven't dropped it or had it near liquids etc, I've been treating it like a newborn baby since the last one died! I've googled and tried searching apple support but I haven't come across anything similar. Any help would be great, thanks!

If you connected it to both your computer's USB port and a USB power adapter on a wall outlet, I think you've ruled out a problem with the power source.  Since you at least get the red light, the USB docking cable is probably OK.
So, if it's not the USB port or the docking cable, the cause is likely to be on the shuffle.  It may be the battery or a problem on the logic board.  If it was just the battery, I think it would still appear in iTunes on the computer (or at least be recognized by the system).
(If this shuffle is less than one year from purchase date, it is under warranty.)

  • PowerBook G4 has loud buzzing, then freezes, now won't start

I have a PowerBook G4 which started to make low "grinding" noises when it worked hard. It had done this for maybe a couple of months: sometimes the position (on lap or on table, etc) seemed to affect it. I always figured it was the fan(s). But a little while ago it suddenly started making a loud buzzing noise, like a fuzz-tone electric guitar or maybe an electric razor. If I put it to sleep the noise would start, and it would not start immediately upon re-awakening. I'm not really sure where the noise was coming from. Otherwise the computer was still functioning normally, so I figured a fan was going bad. Then it just froze, and I had to turn it off. Upon powering on, it got to the point with a gray screen, an Apple logo, and a bar that spins in a circle. Never more than that. I've booted the install disk and run Disk Utility: it found some big discrepancy, in a file allocation I think, but fixed it. Since then I've repaired and verified: disk appears OK. I've run the hardware tests and everything tests OK. I can also get the terminal by booting from CD 1, and can do directory listings of the disk contents. So the disk seems to be OK. I removed the suspect fan: the left one, and looked at it. Aside from some dust in the filter it looked and spun fine, as far as I could tell.
Upon booting in "verbose" mode, I get the following:
    member [46]: dsFindDirNodes returned - 14071, count = 2147483646
member [46]: Couldn't find root user. Sleeping and trying again.
    These two lines just repeat...
    I've got two questions here:
    1) What should I do to get the computer operational again? Is there a netinfo restore I can do, or should I reinstall the OS (10.4) from the install disks?
    2) How can I find out what caused the original problem?
    Thanks,
    Frank Huddleston

An update: I have reinstalled the OS, and all my user files were still there in Previous Systems, so I lost no data. The noise has recurred a few times, and I listened for its location: it really did sound as though it was coming from the upper left. No system freeze, though: the noise stopped on its own after the period of intense cpu activity finished. I have checked the disk with the Disk Utility, and it verifies (I did not do this in single-user mode, however). So far, so good: it looks as though my left rear fan is going bad.
Could that somehow cause the system lockup? If maybe the system temperature reached a high point?
I have installed the iStat widget and have looked at that when I hear the low "grinding" sound, and it shows the left rear fan running at about 1740 rpm. But the right fan is at 0. Is this normal?
The Apple Hardware reported no errors: I guess that means both fans are at least operational enough for the test. But what will make the system use the right fan as opposed to the left? Is maybe the right fan not coming on, then the left fan has to work too hard, and so now is failing? I have no idea what a "normal" rpm is for those fans.
Also, at this point maybe this topic is more suitable for another forum. If so, please advise.
Thanks for any help you(all) can give me.
    Frank H.

  • How can recover database using only Full Export ?

    Hi,
I have one query , i have only Full export is given database , after full export sucessfully
database Crash by mistacally, how can recover it, i have only export is given no backup is taken (RMAN,COLD or HOT) statergy is use , How can recover it.

You need to recreate the database from scratch as imp requires a working database.
You could already do this by transforming the results from
'alter database backup controlfile to trace', a trace file containing a 'create controlfile' statement, into a 'create database' script.
After that step you apply your import. Everything after that import is lost forever.
One would ask for a sanity check of management and personell of a company, which has no backup strategy in place.

  • Loud buzz and a red light! Hot, too.

My AE started sending a loud buzz through its audio output. When I unplugged the cable, there was a red light shining from the connector hole. The darn thing was pretty hot, too, although I can't really say it was warmer than usual. Unplugging it for a while causes it to work again (the red light goes away).
Is it frying itself to death?
    Any ideas?

The warmth of the Airport Express, and the "red light shining from the connector hole" which is the optical digital output, are not things I would be overly concerned about. The "loud buzz" is of course not normal. If this "loud buzz" becomes a recurring problem (and you eliminate a faulty cable or sound system as a source of the buzz) and your Airport Express is still under warranty, I would recommend you get it replaced.

  • Wrong Power Supply causing loud buzzing?

I just moved, and forgot to pack the power supply along with my Inspire T5400 speakers, so I thought I would use another that fit. since then the speakers make a horrible, loud buzzing and I can't hear the underlying sounds at all. Is it possible that the wrong power supply can do this? Can I order another one from Creative?

Nevermind, I found the correct P/S and it workds great. I we todd did...

Hello I am runing on the windows 10 on the HP Pivillion DM4 laptop and my laptop keeps making this loud buzzing noisethe moment I turn my laptop on it starts making this anoying buzing noise. Thank You

I had a similar experience like this couple days ago on my 2011 13inch MBA. All of sudden started hearing this on/off buzz and everything froze. Finally got the thing turned off but took me a couple minutes and i was worried it was totally fried. Started up again and seems ok since. I have occasionally had the black and white lines on display, usually when i try to plug back in to external monitor

  • When my computer is playing sound, it makes a loud buzzing noise and the computer locks up

When my laptop Pavilion dv6 less than a year old, computer is playing sound, it makes a very loud buzzing noise and the whole computer locks up.  I hit the lock symbol and then swipe my finger again to get out of the website (youtube) or close out the program playing sound or it will do it again.

    Hi,
Shut down the notebook.  Tap away at f10 as you start the notebook to enter the bios menu.  Under the Advanced or Diagnostic tab you should find the facility to run tests on both the Hard Drive and Memory.  Post back with the details of any error messages.
If both the above tests pass, try the following.
From the Start Menu, open All Programs, open Accessories, right click the Command Prompt and select 'Run as Administrator'.  In to the prompt type the following command and hit enter.
sfc /scannow                 ( note that there is a space between sfc and the / )
Let the process complete, then type exit and hit enter.
Next, click the Start Menu, click Computer, left click Local Disc C once to highlight it, right click Local Disc C and select Properties.  Click the Tools tab and then click the button to 'Check the Drive for Errors'.  In the following window make sure both boxes are ticked and then click Start.  Part of this process will require a restart to check the drive.
