LOV not working in param form on web

I am using the following query to provide an lov on a param form which includes an "All" option:
select adv_id,adv_nm from advertisers
union
select to_number(null),' All' from dual
order by adv_nm
This works fine on client/server, but on the web, I only get the list of advertisers with no "All" selection.
Anyone have any ideas?

Hi Aneesh,
We were able to solve this issue by changeing the preference of the mode. You need to disable the sound for the click action. I am not sure why it is happening -may be it is not able to find the sound file or so- but once you set it to "No Sound" the click action works fine and does not pause.

From the Safari menu bar, select
Safari ▹ Preferences ▹ Extensions
Turn all extensions OFF and test. If the problem is resolved, turn extensions back ON and then disable them one or a few at a time until you find the culprit.
If you wish, you may be able to salvage the malfunctioning extension by uninstalling and reinstalling it. That will revert its settings to the defaults.
If extensions aren't causing the problem, see below.

...Then you will only ever update records that have been checked. Unchecked checkboxes are not passed back in the global array. You need to have a hidden column with the ID's for the record and loop through that when you are updating/inserting. That is why the built in tabular form has a MRU and a MRD. the MRU loops through the hidden ID column. The MRD loops through the checkbox.

Key functions are not working in oracle11g forms

I have migrated a oracle 10g form to oracle 11g form
1.Key function such as down arrow,up-arrow is not working in oracle11g forms though key-down etc trigger have been written.
2.Tree node function,i mean when i try to call form from a child node ,it required 4-5 click.

Since the checkboxes all have the same name, the values are over-writing each other when being passed to the PHP script. The best way to fix that is to add a pair of empty square [] brackets after the checkbox names, so make the names "graphics[]" instead of "graphics". That tells PHP that the values are being passed as a list (an array) instead of a single value. As long as your processing script knows what to do from there (and it does), should solve the problem.
By the way, I noticed that two of the checkboxes were named "graphics" and the other was "graphic" (singular). You'll want to fix that too so they're all the same.

Execute Query not working on custom forms

After upgrading from 11.5.10.2 and Oracle 9.2.0.5 to ATG6, AD6, oracle 10.2.0.4, Forms 6.0 (Form Compiler) Version 6.0.8.28.0 . The execute query (F11 & CTRL F11) is not working on custom forms. But after tabbing from one column to another column then press CTRL F11 is working.
Please any one help me on this issue.

F11 (query mode) not working in payment form in AP

Dear All,
F11 function not working in Payment form in R12.
I made a payment and quit the form. Whem am trying to query the payment invoice to void it. F11 functionality is not working.

This issue is due to personalization done in payment form to default the payment date. First we defaulted the payment date once we open the form and faced issue in Quering a payment.
Now we did a change in personalization to default after selecting the Trading Partner and rectified the issue.

LOVs not working in Webi Report for SAP BO 4.1 SP 2 Patch 3

I have developed reports and universes in SAP BO 4.0 SP 5 and i have migrated those reports to higher version of BO which is 4.1 SP2 Patch 3.
My universe is working fine with LOVs but when i run the webi report , the LOVs arent working.
have anyone facing the same issue. any idea why the LOVs arent working on higher version.?

The List of values we will assign in universe in order to get filtered data works on universe query panel
but the same objects when i am using in report(webi report) , the List of values are not working .i.e
they are not getting displayed in webi report.
for ex: i have country object having country names as LOVs and state objects having state names as LOVs . Now when i select Country value , the LOVs of state objects should get filtered and shows only states which belongs to country .
the above logic is not working in webi report , i am only able to select country and when i go for state, the state names do not get filtered.
please let me know why this is happening in the SP2 patch 3 version and its working fine for SP2 , but the chrome issue gets solved after applying patch 3 and not if we only upgrade to SP2.
the webi reports are not working in chrome browser if we using SAP B04.1 SP2 and lower version

Web Report not working with parameter form

I have a report which has got a parameter form. This report is
running fine in client/server environment. But when I deploy the
same report on web (CGI) using PARAMFORM=YES, I am getting the
parameter form and after pressing the SUBMIT button I am getting
a blank report under the following two cases even though I have
data for that query:
CASE1: <input type="hidden" name="desformat" value="html">
then I am getting the report with no data retrieved.
CASE2: <input type="hidden" name="desformat" value="pdf">
then I am getting completely blank report (no logo, no column
titles, etc.)
See the HTML code below. Remember, the same thing is running
fine in client/server environment. Moreover, if I make a HTML-
coded form for the report then everything on the client's
browser is running fine. But this is not what we want, 'coz we
are running the "BEFORE PARAMETER FORM" trigger in the report.
So, should I conclude that web-reports does not work with the
parameter forms?? Is it a bug???

No pal, that's not the problem. The problem lies with the
"BEFORE PARAMETER FORM" report trigger on the web. Check this

Playback is not working in OpenScript for loadtesting web/http wizard

i am facing another issue with OATS 12.1.0.1 while playing back the recorded scripts for load testing. But this time i dont know whether the remedy will come from our application or from OATS.
I have recorded some simple steps in our application for loadtesting.
My navigations in OpenScript:
New > Load Testing(Protocol Automation) > Web/HTTP > Default Repository > Opened a blank script > started recording > Browser window got opened > hit the url of our application > logged in with a username/pasword > logged out.
Scripts got recorded successfully. Now when i started playback, then it got failed with the error:
+Failed to solve variable web.input.Submit using path .//input[@name='Submit']/@value+
In our application, every sessionid gets captured and may be because of that recorded script and playback script made two different sessionids for login.
Because when i did the comparison between the recorded and playback script, then i got the below line which is not matched between those two:

jsessionid value is not matched between the recorded script and playback script.

Forms 5 is a client/server application, so it looks for files on your local c: drive.
Forms 9i is a web application, so in principle it will now look on the server's c: drive.
However, get_file_name is not a standard Forms procedure. My guess it that it is one of your own procedures and it uses the d2kwutil library. This library won't work in a web environment.
If you want to do something with files on your local PC in a web envirionment, you will have to use webutil.

Depenedant SelectOneChoices are not working in creation form of ADF 11g

I have created a ADF creation form using updatable VO.
I have three list boxes, theaterId, AreaId, SalesSegment. if i select theaterId list box it should refresh the list for areaId and salesSegment.
I have created list boxes in VO attribute level and defined the dependencies.
When i run the page dependant lists are not showing data.
If i create the ADF form with same VO, functionality is working fine but it is not working in the Creation form.
Pls help me to resolve this issue.

Hyperlink not work in PDF forms on the iPad

I have created a form using Acrobat XI Pro and have added a hyperlink to a web site, this link works when using the form on a mac or PC but not when using the form on reader on the iPad.
Is this a acrobat limitation? Is there a work round?

I assume you are using the "create a web link" function. One thought: make sure it is a strictly correct URL. For instance, make sure it starts with the seven characters http:// even though certain versions of Acrobat will fix this error when you click.

Calendar Lov not showing in custom forms on EBS 12.1.1

Previously i worked on Oracle Forms 6i but at present i am working on Forms 10g (Forms [32 Bit] Version 10.1.2.0.2 (Production)) with no patch.
I build the custom forms and compile that in custom top on EBS 12.1.1 but the calendar lov is not showing.
Build Step.
Used TEMPLATE.fmb for scratch.
Field name -Order date, Item Type- TextItem, SubclassInformation- TEXT_ITEM_DATE, DataType-Datetime, FormatMask -DD-MON-YYYY HH24:MI:SS,
List Of Values- ENABLE_LIST_LAMP, Validate Form List- No
Add 'KEY-LISTVAL' trigger in ORDER_DATE field and write 'calendar.show;' Trigger text but it's not working.
If Above steps apply on forms-6i then calendar lov populated on EBS 11.5.10.2.
I know this is very old topic and found lots of post for this topic but none of them help me.
Could any one help me if anything i missed for Forms-10g with EBS12.1.1 ?

If you implemented the Calendar LOV in EBS12.1.1 through forms 10g then please give me your steps.
AS per my understanding the below is the required steps.
1. Item Type - Text Item
2. Subclass Information - TEXT_ITEM_DATE
3. Data Type - Datetime or Date
4. List of Values - Enable_List_Lamp
5.Add key-LISTVAL trigger and written calendar.show;
