LOV on Parameter form can not show in IE

In report builder I build two user parameter by Parameter Form builder.
one is the search_mouth in which we type the month, the other is department_name
which is selected by a drop down list and we can not type the name only select a name from the list.
Everything is ok when I run it in report environment, but when I call it in browser the search_mouth field is ok, but the department_name change to a common textfield not a drop down list ,and all department_name is shown below the textfield.

I do not know how to show the dynamic list in browser.

If you run the report from a Web browser and the list of values is unrestricted, the HTML Parameter Form will display a text field instead of a combo box, and a list of static values that you can copy and paste into the text field. In this case, the first column will always be shown in the Parameter Form, even if Hide First Column is selected.

If the startup disk is for Mac OS 9, neither MacBook nor PowerMac G5 can boot into 9. Only the PowerMac G5 can use Mac OS 9 in Apple menu -> System Preferences -> Classic.
Please be more detailed what sort of Startup Disk you are talking about, which operating system, and which machine this is a problem with.

If you use the report composer to create your report:
Drag the business partner object into the report view an then make right-click --> display more attributes and than choose the adress fields you want to display

Right->click on these tracks in iTunes and choose Get Info. Then head to Lyrics tab. Are the correct lyrics listed there?

I don't think LR4 adjustments can be directly sent to CS4, because CS4 cannot interpret LR4's new processing engine.
I think you have to use Edit In... and create a TIF or PSD and send those to CS4

Can not show applet in jeditorpane

I want to load a Web page which contains an applet into a JeditorPane, but I found the applet can not show in the editorpane.
I use the following statement to create a JEditorPane

The static text is showing, but the applet graph is always missing. Do I need to do something else? Please help me!

JEditorPane's abilities to show HTML are very limited. It doesn't support CSS, JavaScript, applets and many other things. You'll need a real browser component for that.

Itunes can not show chinese characters.

Not quite sure what you are trying to do, but if you move the code from the paint() method into the init() method (then delete your paint() method), then add one new line to the init() method (after the code you just inserted) that reads:
getContentPane().add(new JTree(root));
- You should at least see a tree!

Parameter values are not showing in in the Organization Parameter form

We have done a setup for an Inventory Organization.
Everything was working fine.
Values were showing everywhere.
We have lot of transactions done in the org also.
But suddenly yesterday when I was trying to open the Organization Parameter form for that specific organization, the form came up as blank and in the bottom the error is Query caused no records.
I have checked data is there in the base table mtl_parameters.
Value is coming for other organizations. Only one specific organization is having this issue.
Even in Examine, I have taken the last query run on that form and ran the same in back end database, I can see all values are there in the database.
But in frontend screen the values are not showing. even organization code also not showing.
Navigation is: Inv Super user --> Setup --> Organization --> Parameter

Have you checked Organization Access to ensure that no one restricted that org?
Or shipping grants and roles?
I think there are quite a few places that you can restrict access.

I do not know how to show the dynamic list in browser.

I just tried and it works for me. The LOV value of the parameter is shown in browser as pulldown list.
I created a group above reports based on select * from emp where deptno = :p_deptno.
user parameter p_deptno is defined as sql select unique deptno from emp. In the parameter form builder, I selected desformat and p_deptno to show in the parameter form. When I run it through rwservlet, I get a text edit box for desformat, and pulldown list for deptno.

Dynamic lovs in parameter forms ... Is this possible?

I am using report developer 10g on windows xp.
I need a cascading prompt style dynamic LOVs in my report parameter form.
The first LOV displays a set of values (say for eg. dept list). The second LOV will display another list, based on the value chosen by the user in the first LOV (Eg. List of employee names in that dept).
My first LOV select statement may look like below for the user parameter say P_DEPT
select deptno from dept;
My sencod LOV select stmnt may look like below for the user parameter P_EMP
select ename from emp where deptno = :P_DEPT
Each time I try to set the second LOV, report developer complains "Bind variables not allowed in select statement"
Same error msg comes if I reference the first user parameter(P_DEPT) as a lexical parmaeter.
How do I acheive the above in report parameter form? Any help is appreciated greatly...

I do agree that it is simpler (and a lot striaght forward) to just use forms to develop dynamic LOVs of cascading prompt style, that is required in my app. But in our shop, we have integrated forms and reports in such a way, that all the report parameters are handled by report developer's own parameter form, rather than coding a separate logic on the forms side to handle the report parameters(as this has to be done on the forms side for every report that we generate, We thought it would be better to use the reports developer to handle the parameter input and then pass the .rdf to forms app). Currently in all our app, the parameter form generated by the report developer is rendered as HTML form on the browser (when the concerned rdf file is called within the forms app) and by submitting this we get the report output)
Hence I am very keen to get this done somehow on the report developer side.
I do hope I get some input on this. Also, its a little surprising that such a simple feature is not readily avalibale in the report parameter form. I hope oracle report developer team is reading this message...:)

Interactive form is not showing data during design time

Hello,
I have created a interactive form to display PDF. It is of 12 page. I created and checked in the code to DTR but now when I checked out the DC and and edited the interactive form for further update it is not showing any thing in the design time,showing only one blank page. However if I build and run that checked out project it is showing the proper data at runtime, so now i am unable to update the pdf.
Please help and let me know what to do.

Sorry for the late response and not specifying more in detail.
My Jdeveloper version is 11.1.1.6 R1. When I ran for the first time, it was working fine. Then later on, when I was running it was opening completely blank screen.
I thought it is something to do with the permission to the task flow. I have opened web.xml and jazn-data.xml file to check and closed without tweaking these files.
Now, I was not able to open the page in the designer also. It was just showing hierarchy of all the components.
I copied the backup again and it worked. What could be the reason so that I can avoid doing this in future?
Is this related to Jdeveloper bug as I have seen on other forums highlighting this issue.

I don't think this is related to the above question, but the linked "solution" is as good as I can come up with, however it looks like its possible that ALL the libraries in the collection are suffering the same situation...
WHATS HAPPENING:
our site was migrated to 2013 from 2010 from 2007 and is running in compatability mode around 6-18 months ago. I'm pretty sure the old system is gone too - database backups might be obtainable... not sure.
There are a bunch of "site columns" that are used consistently across the collections libraries (there seems to be a general avoidance of "content types", don't ask me why, I don't know, I also don't know what would be involved in moving
them all to content types as many of the sites "views and webparts" use the content type columns to surface things all over the place, so I suspect it would be a big job), but folks have recently noticed that some documents are missing from various
pages (webparts that are gathering documents from these columns values).
But the problem is that it seems that since the update most (all?) of the document libraries NO LONGER enforce the requirement and litterally only show "name*", and "title" in display and edit properties...
Any ideas on how to get things back to showing the "proper" forms (I can only guess what this was from documentation and screenshots and general guessing based on the "commonness" of the columns in question)? Or is there a way to merge
or migrate "columns" to content types in some way that is either "collection wide" or non-breaking?
ANY assistance would be greatly appreciated!

So just to be sure are you saying that '2010 compatabilty mode' is causing these issues?
Just to be SUPER clear from my end this is what I'm seeing as an example;
For a collection
with site columns
many but not all lists
many but not all list items
--> are missing valid data in the site columns that have been registered for that list.
sample:
name          modified by    doctype     department
item1.docx   username   <blank> <blank>
item2.docx   username    WorkInstruction    Planning
if you click "edit properties" you are presented with ONLY the (I'm guessing) content types fields (eg: for Document you get Name and Title) and NONE of the other fields that should be specified.
However if you hit "save" you can see that the data in these fields returns to the "list view" (however it does not re-enable these fields from being active in the View/Edit properties pages).
Is this something that can be fixed? Or are you saying that we need to backup the DB and restore to a FULL version (not in compatability mode) of SharePoint2013? Or are you saying we need to revert to our PRE update backup and do something?
Its been many months since thsi upgrade was done and the system has changed a lot, so you can imagine we are reluctant to loose much of these changes...
