LOVs not working in Webi Report for SAP BO 4.1 SP 2 Patch 3

Hello ,
I have developed reports and universes in SAP BO 4.0 SP 5 and i have migrated those reports to higher version of BO which is 4.1 SP2 Patch 3.
My universe is working fine with LOVs but when i run the webi report , the LOVs arent working.
have anyone facing the same issue. any idea why the LOVs arent working on higher version.?

The List of values we will assign in universe in order to get filtered data works on universe query panel
but the same objects when i am using in report(webi report) , the List of values are not working .i.e
they are not getting displayed in webi report.
for ex: i have country object having country names as LOVs and state objects having state names as LOVs . Now when i select Country value , the LOVs of state objects should get filtered and shows only states which belongs to country .
the above logic is not working in webi report , i am only able to select country and when i go for state, the state names do not get filtered.
please let me know why this is happening in the SP2 patch 3 version and its working fine for SP2 , but the chrome issue gets solved after applying patch 3 and not if we only upgrade to SP2.
the webi reports are not working in chrome browser if we using SAP B04.1 SP2 and lower version
but the LOVs are not working in SAP BO 4.1 SP 2 patch 1, 2,3.

Change order of key figure is not working in Web report output (using WAD)

Hi,
We are using BI 7.0, release 701 and level 008. We are facing problem in WAD (web report output). When ever we do 'Select filter' for key figures and 'change the order' of key figures, it does not get reflected in new order. Though drag and drop of key figures is working.
Though same change order is working fine in Bex Analyser.
Kindly suggest some inputs.

Context Menu not working in Web Reports

We are on BI 7.0 (ABAP stack only). I am unable to see context menu for 3.X web reports in 7.0 environment when we have "Only Hierarchy Navigation" property checked in web tenplates (WAD 3.X). Where as in production, on 3.0B system (not upgraded) when we have "Only Hierarchy Navigation" property checked in web template i am able to see context menu on header row of the reports. Not sure what i am missing?

Diagnostics not working in web role for Azure SDK 2.5.1

I am working with Azure SDK 2.5.1, mainly on the new designed diagnostics stuffs. However, I found I cannot get it run for my web role.
So, I created a cloud service project, added a web role. Then, I appended one Trace message at the end of Application_Start in Global.asax.cs:
Trace.TraceInformaction("Application_Start end.");
After that, I right clicked the WebRole and opened the Properties tab.
In the diagnostics config window:
General: I choose 'Custom
plan', also specified the storage account, keep the 'Disk
Quota in MB' as default '4096'
Application Logs: 'Log
level' switch to 'All',
others kept as default
Other tabs are in default config settings
After I deployed the project to cloud, I found some unexpected things:
There is no WADLogsTable exists
in Table storage. That's very strange, if I use a Worker Role, it would work as expected. So in web role, I just cannot find the Trace logging?
For the performance counters, since I am using the default config with 8 counters, I can only see 8 in WADPerformanceCountersTable table
storage. In my assumption, over time, there would be more and more values of this 8 counters transferred to this table. But it was just not happened, after several hours, it still had that 8 counter values.
I just thought the diagnostics for Web Role just crashed or not working at all. Meanwhile, I checked the logs located at "C:\Logs\Plugins\Microsoft.Azure.Diagnostics.PaaSDiagnostics\1.4.0.0\DiagnosticsPlugin.log" in
server, at the end of this file there is an exception said some diagnostics process exit:
DiagnosticsPlugin.exe Error: 0 : [4/25/2015 5:38:21 AM] System.ArgumentException: An item with the same key has already been added.
at System.Collections.Generic.Dictionary`2.Insert(TKey key, TValue value, Boolean add)
at Microsoft.Azure.Plugins.Diagnostics.dll.PluginConfigurationSettingsProvider.LoadWadXMLConfig(String fullConfig)
DiagnosticsPlugin.exe Error: 0 : [4/25/2015 5:38:21 AM] Failed to load configuration file
DiagnosticsPlugin.exe Information: 0 : [4/25/2015 5:38:21 AM] DiagnosticPlugin.exe exit with code -105
From MSDN,
the code -105 means:
The Diagnostics plugin cannot open the Diagnostics configuration file.
This is an internal error that should only happen if the Diagnostics plugin is manually invoked, incorrectly, on the VM.
It doesn't make sense, I did nothing to the VM.
As I said above, I just did very tiny changes to the scaffold code generated by Visual Studio 2013. Did I do something wrong or it's a bug for Azure SDK 2.5?
By the way, it seems everything is ok for Worker Role.

This issue could be an internal issue, I do not have any update on this as of now. There was a similar issue due to a regression last month that has been resolved, however i dont think this issue is related.
Please follow the below article on how to enable Diagnostics and let us know if it works.

Query level filter not working in Webi report

Hi All,
I am using BOXI R3.1 (SP3), m facing one problem when refreshing Webi report on daily basis. I am using three query level filter as a prompt, but i checked one filter is not working then i need to reapply this filter and rest 2 filter is working fine.
Can anyone suggest me why problem is coming?

Hi,
Prompts are interactive, and come from the query panel. Filters are not interactive, and are set on the report or block. There are also input controls, which are interactive filters
1. Select the universe in the list of universes to open the Query Panel.
2. Drag the Year object to the Result Objects pane.
3. Drag the Number of Guests object to the Query Filters pane and create a report filter that restricts Number of Guests to greater than n.
4. Click Combined Query.
The Combined Query pane appears in the bottom left of the Query panel with the two queries joined by UNION.
5. Click on the second query and remove the Year and Number of Guests objects.
6. Drag the Reservation Year object to the Result Objects pane.
7. Drag the Future Guests object to the Query Filters pane and create a report filter that restricts the future guests to greater than n.
8. Click Run Query.

Query Filters not working in webi report.

I have a bex query where i have some filters on Key figures but when i run that query on webi report i dont get exact data as in bex...
There are no other filters i have applied in webi, but i am not able to see the exact data..?

I am using Business object XI 3.1 SP 1 FP 0.882.
In webi i can see all the values i.e I have applied filter on key figure TARGET GI QUANITY which brings only that quantity which has missing parts.
But i get all the quantity in my webi report.

Zero Rows suppression is not working in Webi report.

I have created a Web' report on top of BEx query. I am getting the report with Zero values. I want to suppress the rows with Zero values. When I ran the same query in BEx it is suppressing the zeros. (I have the property to suppress the Zero values int he query as active). Why Webi report is not recoginizing the property of the BEx query.

I am facing the similar problem...I want to suppress 0 values in my report. I am using RDBMS - BOXI 3.1 SP1 (Reporting through Webi)
I have tried the above mentioned filter at Webi Level, but no luck.
Description       p1       p2       p3
Wages              0         0         0
Exp                   100      25       50
My requirement is the row, with all the columns with 0 should be suppressed.

Add-Ins menu not visible in Crystal report for Sap Business One

Hi,
I have installed the Crystal Report Design for Sap Business One on my customer server.
But when I open the Crystal Report I can't see the Add-Ins menu to put the rpt directly on my Sap Business One.
I have installed it on many customer, but only with this I have this type of problem.
There is some restriction on Sap Version/Patches or Authorization Users or some check that I have to set on Sap or on Crystal Report?

Variable exit in sap bi 7.0 is not working in web report

Hi Experts,
I had wrote a variable exit to get latest run date at variable screen for a variable.On the base query i have created query view.This query view is working fine when i am viewing from analyzer but on the web Im not getting latest run date but it taking some other date.
Can any body suggest any thing why system is behaving so strange.

Join is not working in webi report

I have let's say three tables; one fact and two dimensions;
I manually joined each dimension table with the fact with 1 to many cardinality...
Now I'm trying to run a test report using few fields from each dimension and it doesn't seem to join; in the SQL Viewer in Edit Query mode, it has two queries under Synchronization...it doesn't show a joined query between tables....
I have a similar setup in another universe that is out of the box solution and that seems to work just fine...
Am I missing something here...Please help!

Along with the context that is present in your universe, check under the parameters the fifth tab i.e. the sql tab.
In this see whether the options are checked or not.
the options :
1.Multiple sql statements for each context.
2.Multiple sql statements for each measure.

Database connection not working in Crystal Reports for Eclipse 2.0

Hello All,
We have several hunderd reports that were created in CR 8.5. We are moving to a new Java environemnt and we are also considering using BIRT.However to save development time and effort we are considering using the CR for Eclipse 2.0. For a proof of concept, we loaded several of our 8.5 reports into Crystal reports XI, saved them, and then loaded them into our CR for eclipse design environment.
These reports were built from the values returned from a store procedure.. When we try to execute the reports from within Eclipse, we get Error finding JNDI name (xxxx). We have created the appropriate datasource (to Sybase 12.5.4), and the schema is viewable in the db explorer. However when we associate the connection to this datasource, the connection no longer appears in the field explorer and no data is returned upon previewing the report.
The original reports used ODBC to access the database. Is there anyway to easily convert these reports to using the Sybase JDBC datasource? Also in the DB explorer, the SPs are only showing the SP parameters,not the return values, so we are unable to easily drag the return fields onto the report to reset the links.

We had a similar situation but from my reseach the output from the stored procs cannot be viewed in the report designer in Eclipse. So we had to design the reports using the Crystal Reports Devloper application (the stand-alone version, not the Eclipse editor). The reports were designed w/an ODBC datasource. In order to get that working we had to create a JNDI JDBC datasource connection w/the exact same name as the ODBC datasource and that works. For example, the ODBC datasource was named OP01DSDB01.WORLD so we just created a JNDI datasource w/that exact same name (no jdbc/OP01DSDB01.WORLD just OP01DSDB01.WORLD). I'm not sure if there is a workaround for any of this but this was the easiest way to get them working.
I know this isn't the ideal situation, but that was the easiest way to get things working.

Menu options not working in web reports

Hai,
I made a template in WAD based on a query view. When I publish, none of the options in the menu, that appears when I right click on the characteric object, "Keep filter value, select filter value, remove drill down" etc. allof them doesn't work. When I click on them nothing happens.
When I got to Tools>view definition>based on another query, the data is displayed without my formatting like chart and all but everything works there.
Can someone help me identify whats the problem?

In the Web Application Designer, in the Properties area of the web item, you can set the option Objects with navigation links to 'X' in the Web Item tabpage, under General.
Objects with navigation links (GENERATE_LINKS).
X = Yes
= No.
For Table web item there's an option Only hierarchy navigation (ONLY_HIERARCHY_NAVIGATION).
X = Yes
= No
If set to 'X' the context menu is hidden in this mode, and you can only expand and collapse from the list.
Check this option also.

Add web element in Crystal report for SAP system

I have added web element in Crystal report for SAP system (BI or R/3) . But it does not show the control. It shows only scipt.It does not render the HTML.
But if I add the webelement for Excel sheet ,It shows the control.
How can I add web element for SAP System? Can't we use web controls in SAP system ?
