Low battery-charge causing MBP shutdown

Hi,
From last month when my MBP is working with the battery, even when I see that the battery charge is 15-20%, it suddenly shutdown without any popup informing me anymore about the fact that I’m using the residual energy. It happens EVERYTIME when working with the battery.
Any advice?

Restore to factory settings. That will use the latest iOS and then restore from a backup.
Never, never, never attempt an update/upgrade on any portable computer device without plugging it into its AC charger.

My iphone was powered off due to low battery charged it after few hours it took 30 min to show apple logo but i noticed that my phone was charging slow and draining fast, after this updated it to 8.1.2

Low battery charge life?

I bought an iPhone4 a couple of weeks ago and though obviously busy on it initially I recently noticed, with more 'normal' use, how quickly the battery runs down. As a test I've had wi-fi/networks off for a couple of days and generally it's 'sleeping' a lot but, for example, it"s lost 35% of its charge in 6 hours since fully charged.
What should the 'average' charge life be? Surely more than that?
Oh, and I see no-one has any ideas about my Youtube question in this topics list...?

It all depends on what you do on your iphone during those 6 hours. But it sounds about right. None of the 4 gen iphones I've owned have been able to keep a charge for an entire day without having to recharge it at work or in my car. I do use it for everything- music, games, surf the net, etc... It's a downside to all smart phones and the iphone is not an exception.

IPod touch low battery charge

my battery system says 60% but when i take it out of the charger it says only 20% 1 minute later

Part if not all of the reason is that % battery is not accurate on an iPod. What happens whne you charge for 4 hours?
What battery life do you get out of the iPod?

Very low Battery Health on MBP Core 2 Duo

The iStat widget shows that the battery health of my macbook pro is only 77% after 47 cycles. Is this common or should I contact AppleCare? By the way the system profiler shows the capacity of my battery is 4270 mAh.

While I doubt your full capacity isn't low enough for Apple to consider it a failed battery it does seem that you battery is decaying a little quickly. You might just want to replace it.
There's no reason why you shouldn't call AppleCare anyway.

IPhone 5 stuck on low battery charging screen A.K.A $500 Paper Weight

Well this is the third and final iPhone 5 my family has encountered with this issue, Luckily my mom upgraded to a 5S and avoided this issue even though she was experiencing it. Me and my father are not as lucky. Usually jumping power sources and rebooting works. Finally tonight my phone is stuck on it and nothing I can do will bring it off. My phone is totally *mint* and with an otter box defender case looks perfect. Now I would have had it replaced when the battery went to **** after a well known bug they had. However I was not in the warranty window still. Then when my lock/sleep button stopped working that was just icing on the cake. The screen being stuck now is the nail in the coffin. Now I love apple and have had every Generation iPhone since the original. However past 2 years living no where near an apple store has made it unfair and not worth having. The Genius usually take care of you if your not too far outside your warranty and the issue is a known apple defect or issue. However getting a known defect fixed is almost impossible when your not near an apple store. You are stuck paying out of pocket for shipping and even for "recall" work if it happens to not be a recall issue. Plain and simple most of us can't go a week without a phone so when there's a known issue or manafactures defect you can't get it fixed easily. Now because I missed all the recall fixes and everything I am out over $1200 on two iPhone 5. Now do I spend another $1200 and go through the same **** or do I go with samsung? I am going to share this with many forums and try to spread awareness. The iPhone 5 i have noticed to have the most problems and every single one a friend or family member has had all share the same issues and problems. They all are in cases and taken care of and experiencing the same issues. Anyone else notice the same problems? I know I am not alone; how are samsung galaxy's phone and warranty compared to apple and iPhone?

Okay i have a 3rd generation ipod touch and it keeps going from low battery charge page to a apple logo what do i do here?

Try the standard fixes:
- Reset. Nothing will be lost
Reset iPod touch: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Restore from backup
- Restore to factory defaults/new iPod
You may have a hardware problem like a dead battery.

Ipod will not charge, keeps resetting, extremely low battery.

I adore my Ipod, its 2+, it was working fine, till a few months ago.
In the beginning, it stopped charging on the computer, it synced, but i would have to charge in on a Ipod radio thing first.
Then after awhile, on the radio, (it worked perfectly at first) the ipod would come up with the message, "This accessory not supported by Ipod", it would still play on it, movies, songs, and charge it, but the message would come up every often.
Now it refused to be recognized by the radio, and won't charge.
(yet if you press play the song and movies will play)
It had very little battery left so i bought a wall charger.
I tried charging with a wall charger and car charger!
Now its basically dead, and when i plug it on to the wall charger, the apple logo comes on, and it goes to low battery message, then apple logo..again again.
It just keeps resetting, so i took it off that.
Leaving on the charger for awhile won't work, because it just keeps doing that.
What do i do?
I can't restore it, because i'd have to charge it first!
(I got a new battery for it a few weeks ago, the battery life was way better, charged a bit faster, and it seemed to work better, but the computer still drained it)
Anybody have any ideas?
Please please please.
I swear i love it, but i'm going to throw it out the window soon.

just to add, the first thing that went wrong, that started this thing, was when i got that -48 error, it doesn't do that anymore just to add

I have the same problem and sent my ipod to a the service center for a battery replacement. I was informed by them first by email that "Our technicians have performed full diagnostic checks on your IPOD 5TH GENERATION and have been unable to reproduce the symptom(s) you reported when you requested the repair. As a result of our tests, we can confirm that your product meets Apple specifications for performance, usability, and functionality." then I was told over the phone that they reloaded the software and firmware and that it is working properly and is being sent back to me. Then, and heres the kicker, I received my i pod back with a form stating it was a hardware failure affecting another component. I have since called multiple times and no one can tell me where the hardware failure is but the ipod still says its a battery issue. Go figure i think apple knows exactly what the faulty part is that is causing this error and has no solution short of replacing the unit and they dont want to replace the units of all those with this hardware failure

I keep getting the folowin message after more than one hour charging " please wait very low battery "

Always connect the iPod to a USB2.0 port at the back of your PC.
Dont connect to low power USB ports, on the fron of the PC, dont use USB Hubs, (may cause Sync problems and coruupt filesytem)
if you are using a Mac, dont connect to the USB port on the keyboard.

MPB C2D fully charged at 85% low battery warning keeps coming on?

I purchased my MPB C2D back in Nov 06, recently I've been experiencing drastic drop in battery life after charging overnight. When I use my MBP the following morning, battery meter shows 85%, "low battery warning " comes on, and within 5 mins, it goes to sleep. Anyone know what the problem is?

T500 performance loss and restart issue after low battery shutdown

Hi,
Some days ago I experienced a significant loss in performance of my T500. Unfortunately it seems to be a continuous loss and the games I play, e.g. empire total war that did run ok before are nearly unplayable at the moment.
Additionally, when the computer shuts down due to low battery, it no longer manages to resume windows but always crashs during reboot (black screen and hard disk symbol is moving, no other activity for 10 minutes)
I am working with the standard vista installation and installed all automatic updates, but also every time when I shutdown the computer, no matter how long it has been running (even after 1 minute and after a rebooting 3 minutes ago), the red shutdown symbol in start shows that an update needs to be installed.
any ideas?

Well, the problem, seem's to have reoccured: Battery ran out (even the indicator leds on the side didn't show any life), Time reset to 1.1.2001, again some rebooting and setting the time again...
Is this a sign of a degrading battery health status?
It looks like reseting the SMC didn't help after all.

I have a iPhone 4 and lately it has been shutting down randomly when I still have battery left. It also doesn't turn back on, until I plug it in to the charger. But when I plug it in, the low battery sign shows up then comes to the lock screen with 68%.

Take a look at the Will not turn on, will not turn on unless connected to power, or unexpected power off section.

After trying to down ios 7, iPad will not charge, will not open and will not connect to itunes. The only display I will get is the apple logo, or low battery warning.

Connect with cable to computer. Your ipad is in recovery mode.

I have worked my way through the assistant and nothing works. I have tried connecting in disc mode but although the screen on the ipod is showing that the device is charged and that it is in disc mode as soon as I connect it to the computer it comes up with the error message 'please wait very low battery' and stays like that until I disconnect when it appears to be OK again. I have tried on both pc and mac.
BTW the ipod is an ipod video not classic if that makes any difference.
