Last 2 days, I keep getting low memory error message and asking me to close CS Suite application, or it closes on me.

Details, OS, RAM, free disk space, scrach disk space, etc.

Fatal error message - shutting down

I have a boatload of movies, some of which are in excess of 300mb. I use these in a projector. I've been using this for years with no problems.
However (yeah, the trusty, proverbial "however") - I am trying to modify an existing movie. It's actually relatively small. Periodically I get a "fatal error" and Director shuts down.
I am using the latest version of Director (11.5.8) confirmed by "put the productVersion" in the message window.
I have a LOT of filmloops that I automatically created using some scripts (beginrecording/endrecording).
I use Javascript.
I am using no custom xtras - all recently updated to the Director 11.5.8 copies of themselves.
It always "seems" to be an external cast that only contains javascript files. As a matter of fact, at one point I saved the cast (so I would have it's "corrupted" state). I then opened just the cast and tried to "recompile scripts" and it died with the same "fatal error".
I recreate the external cast and import (as linked files) the scripts.
It works fine for a minute or two and then dies again.
Could this be a cast problem (using a keyword or something stupid like that)?
Is there any way to get a more useful description out of Director?
Is there any way to tell which, if any, casts are corrupted?
Any thoughts on how to proceed?
I've scoured the code for stupid things - even wrote something to check and clean anything in the external javascript files.

Well, it seems as though the problem might be related to Javascript. I don't use Lingo <much> but rather the Javascript languange.
I seemed to have found a work-around for this. If I open my movie, immediately recompile all scripts and save the movie - I receive no more errors - yeah!
Anyway - thought someone else might be having this problem...

Low memory errors.

When I ty to play Destination Treasure Island I get a low memory error message. Is this bad? Could my iPad be bad? If I reboot the iPad it starts and lays but I haven't played for hours at a stretch yet either.
Should I be concerned?

Multi-tasking happens in 4.2, it's not something that can be switched on/off (which not everyone likes). The only thing that you can do is go into the task bar (double-click the home button) and close other apps manually (press and hold one of them until they start to shake, then press the '-' in their top left corenr; press home, or touch the non-taskbar part of the screen when finished closing them). The task bar shows recently used apps as well as those that are running, so even if an app appears there it doesn't necessarily mean that it is active.

N8 Low memory Error - Belle

I am happy with the dynamic change brought to Symbian OS such as Anna and now Belle, however, have a issue repeating from past few days.
I have mail for exchange configured and whenever I miss any meeting, it shows in the slide down window (Quick access for Mobile Data, Wifi, Bluetooth and Silent). When I try to check the prompt, most of the time it gives me "Low Memory Error - Close some applications" and but some times works fine. I have around 110MB space free of my phone memory.
Can someone please check if it is a bug?

I am trying to be patient but this has become more than annoying. My numerous error messages that memory is full and now --- not enough memory to connect a usb cable -- to work on clearing up memory!!! So, does this mean I need to delete my gmail account and receive no emails? -- or delete all the widgets so I have to constantly look up apps from the app page.
Please advise what I can delete from Drive C. I have deleted all .txt and .log files and still can access the phone via Nokia Suite with a USB cable.

Basic troubleshooting steps might help. If you are using the iPad 1, low memory issues may be causing the app and Safari to crash.
Quit all apps completely and restart the iPad. Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Double tap the home button and the task bar will appear with all of your recent/open apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner of the app that you want to close. Tap the home button or anywhere above the task bar. Restart the iPad.
Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
Definitely do this - Go to Settings>Safari>Clear History, Cookies and Data. Restart the iPad. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.

Why a low memory error when the iPhone 4 still has plenty of storage?

I will need to read up on this before I have more discussions. I better make this short if you don't mind one more inquiry. I work almost soley from my phone. I have a store on the Internet. My husband however uses his phone very little but his is the one saying low memory and some areas he has way more data and we can't figure it out. I have 4000 and more emails he has 300 but he has over 300mb more in use. Same with home screen, security, messaging service. His google browser also three times more data than mine and I'm sure my phone has became a part of my hand cause I am always working and I never had low memory and I would think I'd have way more data. He has 7 apps I have 47. Any ideas why. Could someone have hacked his phone

Messaging shutting down on EVERY MMS send now...what's up?

I started having this issue a couple of weeks ago. Followed all the online suggestions, deleted old MMS (since I couldn't view them anyway), and all was well until yesterday. Now NO MMS will send. Messaging shuts down every time. I don't know about receiving as I've warned my friends not to send me MMS until this is resolved. I've deleted all old MMS, emptied the cache on all apps including Messaging, and just did a hard reset, but nothing has worked. I installed another version of Messaging which did nothing but mess with my defaults so the messages didn't seem to know where to go. I deleted it.
So what's up with this? Part of the reason I text is to send photos to family. I need this utility to work.

Im sorry you're having issues with MMS and text messaging GHFrider. I know this is frustrating. Have you made sure your phone has the latest software? What phone do you have? I also would try resetting messaging app on your device? The next time you perform a hard/factory reset I recommend not restoring all your applications at once. Instead try adding them one at a time and texting the messaging. This can help you eliminate which app may be causing an issue. Keep us posted.

IPad Air crashes with low memory error in Google Translate Web Site

My new iPad Air crashes with low memory error every time I try to use my Phrasebook in Google Translate Web site. This is rather disapointing considering that my old Nexus 10, that iPad Air is supposed to replace, works flawlessly in Google Translate Web site. Perhaps this has to do with the rather limited RAM (1GB) that iPad Air is equippoed with.

Why does iPad spontaneously shut down apps?

My iPad has started spontaneously shutting down Apps, with no action from me. I try to make sue I don't have too many Apps opened that are not in use, so I don't think it's a memory issue. Sometimes it actually causes a restart, but not always. Anyone else experiencing similar actions?

Restore your iPad but not from a backup as you may re introduce the problem all over again.

You may want to sync maybe 5 apps at a time after the restore, then test the iPad. Might be one app that's the culprit.
