Lower Internal Links Bar

I've seen where a site has links to internal pages listed at
the bottom of the page.
Where could I find some directions for inserting this?

Can you post a link to one such site so that the question is
more clear.
If its text/image links, you would insert them the same way
as you insert links at any other place.
<a href="internalpage.html">Internal Page</a>
Listing of links at the bottom of the page as well
facilitates viewers to use those links for navigation as well,
especially when you have long pages

  • How can I get my INTERNAL links to work in Mozilla Firefox? They were working a month or two ago BEFORE Firefox made updates. See details.

    ''locking as a duplicate - https://support.mozilla.com/en-US/questions/833946''
Here's a problem I don't know how to fix. In Mozilla Firefox prior to a couple of months
ago I could click on a link and have it open. For example, at http://usnews.vo.llnwd.net/e
1/s/7676/dw_110603_po.pdf?s=1307221956&e=1307222256&h=024749f5186aeabee854b34720f8c2d7 does it open for you? (Probably withdrawn now.)
OK, now go to https://secure.usnews.com/premium/weekly.jsp , but because you are not a
subscriber, you cannot click on the red button and have it open, or can you?
Now go to https://secure.usnews.com/premium/weekly.jsp . Does it open for you?
Now click on Download text-only edition. Does it open for you? My Mozilla makes the expected panel but leaves it blank and forms a partial black bar on the lower left that never completes rightward to show that the site has opened. It gets suspended there after I click it and will not open, BUT if I use as my ISP Internet Explorer, that last link WILL open and I can read the pdf. What program or application am I missing in Firefox that is present in IE? How can the Mozilla one be restored as it was effective for so very long till the last month or so?
In one site I had INTERNAL subheads that when I would attempt to click Mozilla Firefox would not open, as they had BEFORE Mozilla Firefox had sent out its update a month or two ago. I would then have to go down that one-page site to about page 8 just to find that subheads. Why does it not work?
Now the next problem is that this Firefox site requires that I CONFIRM my question. How am I supposed to do that when there is NO "confirm" box or panel in that page to click on?
    thanks,

(I can chat but maybe Monday during the day.)

OK, I went to Private Browsing to change Never remember history to choose Use custom settings for history and then clicked on Permanent Private Browsing Mode and clicked on the bottom OK. I then went to my Firefox messages and clicked on that internal-linked multimessage and then clicked on a link. It went there for only 1 second and reverted to the top of the message, not moving on further clicking.
I then went to tools > options > privacy only to find that the default Never remember history was back in the panel. It wasn't stable at Use custom settings for history. I tried this several times. It always reverts either right away or after that 1-second success. One time it lasted an amazing 3 seconds before reverting to the top of the multimessage e-mail. So THAT failed too.
OK, so then I went to Internet Explorer and called up that message. Clicked on an internal link and watched it fail for 1 second and then clicked again and it held the message for a long time. It's something in Firefox not Int. Explorer. Please see the image to let you know what I am doing.

  • Internal link color

I have a blog and on my home page (and on the archive page) is a list of my entry pages, which when clicked on will go to that page. The problem is I have no control of the color of these "links". The inspector toolbar does seem to register them as links, therefore, I cannot change the color of them. Does anyone know how to change the color of these "internal links"?

    1) How do I get to the CSS files? (How can I open them in textedit to edit them)?
You can find CSS files in your Blog_files folder and Archive_files folder:
    1) Launch TextEdit (in Applications folder) then select menu bar --> File --> Open... or keyboard command+o
    2) Navigate to Blog_files folder and Archive_files folder and select .css file.
    3) Search for #widget(number) and make the changes to the color attribute. You will need to make changes in multiple places... ie: #widget0, #widget1, #widget2, etc...
Note: do not change #widget0 if you use iweb built-in navbar, widget0 is for iweb navbar.
    2) Every time I publish am I going to have to edit these CSS files (at least on the pages that are new or changed)?
To get around that, make duplicate of the CSS files for future use.
    3) After I make a change in Textedit, do I just hit "save" and it will change the webpage, or do I need to save the file a certain way in a certain location? (I'm loading these pages through my .mac account domain)
Just hit 'Save', don't forget to empty your browser's cache and make a duplicate for future use.

  • Outgoing International calls barred

I've had this issue ever since I joined EE (almost a year ago) but as I've not been abroad much I've not managed to fix it yet - In my account settings (on this site) both 'Roaming Abroad' and 'Call Anywhere in the World' are enabled (on both the usage and the group usage screens). On my phone however (Sony Xperia Z3 Compact), if I go into call barring settings, 'Outgoing International Roaming' is Barred - If I try to disable this it asks me to 'Enter Password' - what it is looking for is a 4 digit pin which I do not have - I've spoken to EE tech support in the past and was told they had enabled roaming settings on my account but this has not fixed it. How can I get this pin/change this setting? It is definitely not a hardware issue/phone setting, as per mutiple users on this forum:tried turning it off but it asks for a password - have rung ee and they have never heard of the problem - i told them loads of people have had same problem and that they have all posted it on this forum but they still couldnt sort the problem. Spent ages on the phone to them and been told to phone back tomorrow so they can try and get through to level 2 tech support. http://community.ee.co.uk/t5/Android-Forum/international-call-barring/m-p/211057http://community.ee.co.uk/t5/Android-Forum/International-Calls-Barred/m-p/139001 The fix generally appears to be :My final call was to EE and the tech support passed me to higher level (4?) tech who made a change on the network side hich had international calls barred even though roaming and everything else was set up on the contract side.  Resart and International Call Carring was disabled without having to enter the password.

    Hi ,
I can understand this is very frustrating and it does seem like you have tried everything.
I am going to send you a link to the chat team via a private message, they have sorted this for another customer today.
It's worth a shot to get this sorted.

  • SharePoint 2013 Foundation Top Link Bar wrong selected page when no navigation match

    Hello,
    I've got the following issue.
At one of my clients we are working on a public web site based on SharePoint 2013 Foundation (yes I know... Foundation...). I've branded the Top Nav Bar and ran into a problem.
When I navigate to one of the pages in the Top Link Bar the selected item is marked as "Selected", great! But when I navigate to one of the pages that is not added in the Top Link Bar the first item is marked as "Selected", not so great.
For example when I navigate to /Pages/About.aspx the first item /Pages/Home.aspx is selected.
    Can you help me out?

    Hi,
Could you give me more detailed information about this issue?
Could you give me a Screenshot about this issue?
In addition, there is an articles about customizing the top link bar, please have a look at:

  • Open Link in New Window Option Not Working in Top Link Bar

    Hello,
We have a 'Popular Links' section in our Top Link Bar for our intranet site that contains a list of frequently used links. Since most of these links navigate to sites outside of SharePoint, we would like these to open in a new tab or window when clicked.
I've enabled the 'Open Link in New Window' option under Site Navigation Settings for each link, however when a user clicks the links that have had this option enabled the content is still loaded in the current tab.
Is this the correct set of steps to enable this content, or is there a better way to accomplish this that actually works?

You can try deactivating Minimal Download Strategy feature present under "Manage Site Features"....

  • Can I list all invalid *internal* links within a site?

    Hi,
we are automatically migrating content from LiveLink WCMS to CQ5. After the migration process there will be a small number of links (in text) which point to resources (mostly PDF) but contain errors. We would like to automatically determine all occurences of invalid internal links and list them for manual correction.
But there seems to be only the external link checker, which produces a list (and we need internal links to be checked).
And the usual internal link check seems to be active only during page authoring (and does not produce lists across all pages).
Is there such a thing (or can it be easily built) like an internal link checker which crawls the whole site?
    Thanks for any help.
    Henning

    Hi Henning,
AFAIK out of the box there is no such option. You need to build one.
    Thanks,
    Sham

  • How do I create an internal link in a pages document?

I can do external link ok (Hyerlink + enter web address) - but cant find way to link to a page within the document - an internal link.
    Thanks for your genius.
    Nick

Bookmarks is just one of the many, many features that have been eliminated or changed. Leave feedback for the Pages team using the link in the Pages menu.

  • How can I add document-internal links in Pages 5?

I have a number of very large dicttionary documents (300+ pages) all of which have internal links. The internal links allow you to jump from one letter to another, so that, for example, if you're looking at words that begin with S, you can go to the A-Z letterboard at the beginning and end of the S section and immediately jump to any other section. I've also got links in the middle of the document leading to parts in the front matter (so, for example, a mention of the word "relative clause" will be linked to a section in the grammar discussing relative clauses). The nice thing is that these links would remain active when exported to .pdf, so when I shared them with others, the internal links continued to function. Each document has hundreds of these internal links. All of them appear to have been broken by the new version of Pages.
Is there a way to create document internal links like the ones I used to use for Pages '09, or has this functionality been forever removed from Pages? If the latter, who do I scream at?

Bookmarks have been removed along with 100 other features.
You could post at Menu > Pages > Provide Pages Feedback but that is pointless in my experience
Instead rate/review Pages 5 in the App Store where everyone can see it. In our local App Store, Pages 5.1 is back down to 2 stars with again 61% of users saying they hate it.
Pages '09 should be in your Applications/iWork folder, use that instead.

  • How can I Hide/ Disable the Question mark and Exit button in the Top right corner of Link Bar of Excel Documents in SharePoint 2013?

    Hi,
How can we  Hide / Disable the Help(?) and Close(x) buttons which are located in the right corner of the Top Link Bar in the Sharepoint Document Library pages as well as Excel Web Access?
Our requirement is : When we try to view the Excel Services Report from another web site, Help(?) and Close(x) icons are also appearing in the Excel Web Access Web Part, but we don't want to display them in our site.
Please let us know the solution for this case.
    Thanks in advance.
    Regards,
    Sanjana

    Hi,
In the xlviewer.aspx, we can find the two buttons like this:
To hide them, you need to add the CSS into the xlviewer.aspx which stays in:
    C:\Program Files\Common Files\microsoft shared\Web Server Extensions\15\TEMPLATE\LAYOUTS

  • How to add an internal link on pages 5.0.1?

Could anyone please tell me how to add an internal link on pages 5.0.1.
I am making FAQ list, and I would like to make the first page of the document as a list of questions and when a user click on each question, it jumps to the answer (in the same document).
I found "Add link" tool but it allows you to jump URL or email only.
I was able to  set the list of questions as an index page of "Table of contents" tool and jump to a question page by clicking each page number, however, it fails when I put a question in a table (I would like to place each question and answer in tables for a visual purpose).
It seems a jump by using "Table of contents" become invalid when the contents are placed in a chart.  WHy?
Are there any way to solve this problem?
    any advise will be appreciated.

Bookmarks have been removed from Pages 5 along with 90+ other features.

You may have Pages '09 still in your Applications/iWork folder.
The T.O.C. does not index text inside objects which includes Tables.

  • Pdf issue with internal links in Safari

    Hello,
I am creating a web site that has 80 or so pdf's available to download. They each contain a series of 20 or so speeches. To make navigation easier I have created a new page in Open Office that is an index to each pdf, with it's page number as an internal link to the correct page. This is what I did:
    1. Open each pdf in Preview and inserted a blank page (page 2), and saved the pdf. This gives me the correct page numbering for when I put in the real index.
    2. Noting the start of each speech  page number, I created an idex page in Open Office.
    3. I saved the index as a pdf.
    4. I opened the origional pdf and the new pdf index.
    5. I deleted the blank page and then dragged the new index page across and made sure it was the same page position - page 2.
    6. I then used the link too in Previewl to drag a link box over the page number in the index and then chose the correct page number to set as the target via Previews inspector.
    7. Saved the pdf and opened and tested - everything worked fine.
The problem comes when I upload the pdfs and test the site with safari. When I open the pdf in the default safari window, the links are all out by one page i.e. if i click on page number 30 from the index, I go to the next page - page 31. If I hover the mouse at the bottom of the page and bring up the open in Preview icon and do so, the index links to the pages work fine???? I have tried with Explorer under bootcamp and the default window that opens for the pdf shows the same issue - it's out by one page.
    Thanks in advance
    nige.

    Hi...
    Try this...
    Go to   /Library/Internet Plug-Ins
Move the Adobe PDF Browser plugin (or just PDF Browser plugin) to the Trash.
See if that makes a difference.

  • Internal Links in HTML Document Not Working Correctly in PDF

I have an HTML document that contains internal links (basically a Table of Contents). When the document is displayed in a browser, the internal links work correctly. However, when I use Acrobat 8 Professional to create a PDF version from the HTML source, the links don't go to the correct place when clicked. It almost appears that they are off by one, e.g., link 7 goes to anchor 8. I can send the source document for you to look at if you email me at eharris -at- synnovation.com. I am not expert in HTML and perhaps the links/anchors are not done correctly when I create the HTML document. Does anyone have any ideas on this?

This one has the same problem. For instance, "Anchor1" as <a name="Anchor1"> appears 13 times. I am sure that your problem is that Acrobat is going to the last occurance that is just before the first one. As I scan through the file I find similar results for all of the anchors. When I used Tidy, it reduces about 1350 errors to about 474, but that is still not too good. The validator is flagging a lot of identical IDs as well as unrecognized attributes (like ONSELECTSTART). The attributes correctly accepted by body are
    Attribute Specifications
    * BACKGROUND=URI (background image for document)
    * BGCOLOR=Color (background color for document)
    * TEXT=Color (text color for document)
    * LINK=Color (link color for document)
    * VLINK=Color (visited link color for document)
    * ALINK=Color (active link color for document)
    * ONLOAD=Script (document has been loaded)
    * ONUNLOAD=Script (document has been exited)
as listed on htmlhelp.com for HTML 4. There may be some new ones in HTML 5, but I did not check.
I am not looking at all of your HTML in detail, but there appears to be a lot of unneeded things based on the error messages from the validator. Many browsers will let you display the stuff (even Acrobat), but there may be errors that crop in when you do not expect it or on some other browsers that the one you check. Thus again, you should use a validator. If you are only off a few tags that might be fine, but when it is in the 1000s, there is an issue. It would also be good to break your page up into parts. It is good practice on web pages for each page to be not much more than one screen. That is often exceeded, but 59 screens of info (on my screen) is a bit much. The TOC is definitely needed in that case, but just was well go to a sub page just as well and make the info easier to track. A PDF (as you are trying to get) could be made of the entire system for those that want it all in one bit. Bill
