  • TDS at lower rates for certian limit

    Hi experts,
Income Tax Department gives vendors certifcate for lower deduction of
tax u/s 197, which is a permission to a payer to deduct NIL Tax or tax
at a lower rate. This permission is generally given for a Financical
Year. However, recently it is seen that these certificates are for a
certain Limit. eg: a vendor is given a certificate u/s 197 upto a limit
of Rs.10,00,000/- for NIL deduction. This means that as soon as the
payment to this vendor crosses Rs.10,00,000/- TDS is to be deducted at
the normal rates. THIS NEEDS TO BE CONFIGURED IN THE SYSTEM so that the
correct TDS is deducted and paid.

    Dear Friend
In current Sap scenario it is not possible to have value cap on the withholding tax.
What we are doing is manually keeping tab on the value cap every month and The user is updated with the available limits. Once the cap is reached, the exemption validity date is changed from 31.03.2008 to the date on which  the last invoice was posted. Any subsequent invoice attracts WT at full rate.
Somewhat cumbersome particularly in year end when most of the limits are reached but cannot help it.
We had suggested some customisation wherein the exemption percentage would be checked with the accumulated tax base amount but the same was rejected based on cost benefit ratio.
Would appreciate if you could think of something new and share the same.

  • Restrict a supplier upto certain amount limit for purchasing ?

    Hi,
How can we restrict a supplier upto certain amount limit for purchasing (PO)?
    regards,
    Abdul Hafeez

Can you add a when-validate-record personalization at the po_headers level?
OR you can modify the PO approval workflow to add the check.

  • Vendor - Tax deduction at lower rate - MIRO & FB60

    Hi all,
Currently we are having one issue of u201CTax deduction at lower rateu201D for a Vendor who is having such certificate with him.
For amount purpose we have set the SPRO setting but the user is asking for the date control also since the Vendor is having the relevant certificate till 31.03.2012 and after that, lower rate Tax deduction will not be allowed.
Simple option is to change the Vendor Master with the original tax type+ Tax code (Normal Rate) combination to calculate tax at the normal rate. But if could not cross the amount limit before 31.03.2012 then that will be difficult to keep an eye on date i.e. 31.03.2012 and then change the master data of u201CNu2026u201D No. of Vendors .
We want to put a condition in a system as; system should check the system date with the tax type date to get a date control. We have restricted the date of u201Cnewly created tax typeu201D till 31.03.2012.
In case of MIRO testing, we have use a user exit which is correctly comparing the system date with the tax type date in runtime. If the tax type date is older than system date then system is throwing an error to change the master date (FK02 / XK02) of subject vendor.
In case of FB60 we are facing a problem since not able to cross confirm the tax type date with the system date. We are trying BTE u2013 1140 for FB60 but in runtime we are not able to get the tax related details / tables.
Is there any workaround or way in BTE u2013 1140 for FB60?

    Hi Ramesh,
In the SAP Std. setting of Formula we are maintaining one more line for same TAX TYPE + TAX CODE + COUNTRY combination but for the ending date of lower rate tax deduction.
Since there is no "To date" option in Formula setting, we are maintaining one more line For e.g. in the 1st line we have a date as 01.04.2011 (i.e. Valid from) and in the other line we have mentioned date as 01.01.2012 (i.e. To date) since Vendor is having the lower rate tax deduction certificate uptill 31.12.2011.
In the first line of formula (Valid from 01.04.2011) we have maintain :
To Base amt              W/tax    Reduction base amt.
    175,000.00                 3.00               -
    9,999,999,999.00     10.00     175,000.00
In the second line (Valid from 01.01.2012) of formula we have maintain :
To Base amt             W/tax    Reduction base amt.
    9,999,999,999.00    10.00               -
Cross confirming the various scenarios since date accumulation of tax setting is on in Tax Type that we are considering.
Will confirm to you the change suggest by you.
If these changes doesn't work then we have to go to the option of User exit or BTE for MIRO and FB60 testing.
Have any idea about the above mention settings ?

    Shridhar

According to oracle it is useless warning and can be ignored but these traces are consuming more than 500MB space per day and we are unable to delete trace files as oracle countinously using those file for writting
it is production database kindly suggest solution other than upgrade.
    trace files sid_sxxx_XXX.trc
if we set max_dump_file_size to XXXM or G will it resolve our problem?

  • To restrict overdelivery tolerance up to a certain limit while creating PO

    Dear friends,
How to restrict overdelivery tolerance up to a certain limit (e.g. 5 or 10%) in delivery tab while PO creation?
    Any idea?
    Regds
    Amitava

    Hi
Hope you aware the delivery tolerance is coming from Purchasing value key you maintained in the Material master.
So you can restrict the over delivery percentage at purchasing value key itself.
Or please try the screen lay out to only display the field after maintaining the correct % in PVK.
Or Try some user exit with the help of ABAPer.
    Hope it helps.

  • Low rates of (modulus) breakpoint re-enabling

    Hello!
I am using the motion control NI7334 and I need the breakpoint output to trigger my measurements.
In a quite simple program I re-enable the (modulus) breakpoint each time it occurred. The fastest repetition rate I could generate to enable the breakpoint was about 110 Hz, with higher breakpoint frequencies it becomes irregular, means I don't get all breakpoints. I'm worried if it becomes even worse when my program will be more complex. These low rates for re-enabling the breakpoints are a problem of the labview-code, of windows xp or of the communication between software and PCI-board?
    Attachments:
    motiontest.vi ‏81 KB

The reason why you can't reach faster breakpoint reenable rates is a
mixture of all the reasons that you have suggested plus some internal
delays on the board. There is not much you can do about that.
There are several options for better breakpoint performance:
You could contact your local NI branch to upgrade your NI 7334 to a NI 7354.
The 735x boards provide buffered breakpoints with 2 kHz trigger rate
and periodic breakpoints with 4 MHz. Reenabling is done automatically
    on the board.
You could use the counter inputs of a DAQ-board like the PCI-6220 (two counters) or a dedicated counter board like the PCI-6601
(four counters) to generate the trigger signals by dividing down the
frequency of the encoder signals. As this runs in hardware, you will
also be able to generate triggers with rates up to several MHz.
    I hope that helps,

  • Disabling Low Rates on a WLC

I was wondering if disabling low rates could cause issues for clients in higher density areas. For example, if I have 9 meg as the minimum allowed rate, what is actually taken under consideration for that rate? If I have a significant number of clients connected to that AP, is that going to be taken under consideration by the controller when calcultating the minimal supported rate to all clients? Or does it only take under consideration the distance between the nearest AP and the client and the obstructions in between?

Mandatory rate is what the client must be able to negotiate at. Supported rate are rates the WLC will allow the client to negotiate to. Disabling the lower data rates only affect old devices that might require 1 or 2 Mbps data rate. Distance from the AP is a factor as what the client and ap negotiate at. In a high density deployment for example, I have had 24mbps as mandatory and everything below 11 or 12 disabled and the rest supported. I might also add another mandatory rate if I'm using multicast. You need to know your RF to really decide what you can have a a mandatory and it supported.

  • Saving Data at lower rate

    Hi ,
I am acquiring data through DAQ . The sample rate is 20k and sample to read is 2k. These setting satisfies my requirements. But the data that I save is huge since I intend to aquire it for hours. Hence I would appreciate if somone could tell me how to save data at lower rate i.e. without changing the "sample rate" or "sample to read". Moreover if i could set the saving frequency of data each time I start the aqusition.
    Thanks in advance for help.

I haven't used it, but most of the questions I see regarding logging large amounts of DAQmx data reccomend using TDMS to record data.
There are LabVIEW functions as well as plugins for Excel, OpenOffice and MATLAB for loading TDMS data.
TDMS Direct Integration in NI-DAQmx Logging

  • My new airport extreme transmits at low rates (0-54)and is intermittent? Help!

I need help figuring out why my new 6th generation airport extreme signal is transmitting at a low rate (0-54) and when streaming the signal goes in and out? My equipment is as follows... I have a moterolla extreme DOCsis 3.0 modum, comcast 30 mpbs, and new apple extreme with current airport utility 7.7.1. Any ideas or troubleshooting tips?

When you created your wireless network with the Airport Extreme, did you select having your wireless network backwards compatible with "b/g" devices? If your wireless network was created as "N" compatible for "N" compatible wireless cards only, an iPhone will not be able to connect to your wireless network since the iPhone's wireless card is not "N" compatible.

    hi
Try the table EKBE with fields WRBTR( invoice document amount) , DMBTR (Line item amount in the local currency for GRn Quantity) EBELN- (Purchase order). This will give you the details. Do check a test case with tolerance at Invoice level and post additional amount for Invoice and check the Table field updations.
    Also ,
    Try it in Tcode SE16
    table Name EKBE.
    Or,
May be use can use standard report ME2N, with selection parameter: GUTSCHRIFT (Invoice exist), it will give you all the list of PO with invoice. Here you can check the conditions as you need.
    I hope it helps.

  • Lower Deduction TDS

    Hello Experts
I have one scenario to be created for dedcution of TDS.
if the amount is below 50000/- TDS to be deducted at 5% rate and if it is above 50000/- TDS to be deducted at 10% rate.
can anyone explain me how to make this scenario.

    Hi
Now In Withholding Tax Code i have maintained like this
    withholding tax type :dd
    withholding tax code : dd
    off. w/tax key : 194c
under base amount --percentage subject to tax : 100%
    under calculation
selected the check box w.tax form
In formulas for calculating withholding tax
    To Base Amount : 70,000                  whld tax : 0.5%
    To Base Amount : 9,999,999,999      whld tax : 10%
    Tried to pay 1,00,000 and now system is calculating tds as (0.5% on 70,000 = 350) + (10% on 1,00,000 = 10,000) which is 10,350
Actually if Amount is less than or equal to 70,000 it have calculate 0.5% and if it is greater than 70,000 it have to calculate 10%.
Let me know help me how to proceed.

  • Inspection Rate on ASA System Limit

    Hi all,
we just testing ASA 5585-SSP60 with software 9.1.3. On the load-generator we found out that there are problems on the system with a inspection rate higher than 40K. Has anyone experience with that ? What is an inspection rate ASA should be able to handle? I didn´t find limits on Cisco.com.
    Thanks in advance,

    Hello,
I understand that you want to configure bandwidth limits for each AnyConnect client connection.
Unfortunately, the ASA does not currently support QoS policing of traffic on a per-user or per-IP-address basis:
    https://supportforums.cisco.com/docs/DOC-1361#Q_Does_ASA_SSL_VPN_AnyConnect_Client_or_Clie
    ntless_support_QOS_and_policing_bandwidth_management_capabilites
The feature has been requested but it seems it will not be integrated in the near future.
The available workaround is to use simple QoS as you mention but it is not scalable at all.
You may police the ASA WAN bandwidth based on the public IP address of each remote-access AnyConnect user hogging bandwidth:
access-list SSLVPN_LIMIT extended permit udp host host
    (ASA ip address) eq 443
access-list SSLVPN_LIMIT extended permit tcp host host
    (ASA ip address)
    eq 443
    class-map SSLVPN
    match access-list SSLVPN_LIMIT
    policy-map LIMIT
    class SSLVPN
        police input 1500000
         police output 1500000
    service-policy LIMIT interface outside
