LP 1020: Power is on,printer ready but status says offline

I'm running Windows XP. The power comes on, the printer goes into the ready state but I can't print anything because the status says the printer is offline. I printed a bunch of stuff this afternoon, but when I tried again tonight I couldn't print anything. Any ideas? thanks.

The Xfinity router may need some tweaking.
Login to your router using the provided instructions by Xfinity and navigate to the wireless settings.
Change the channel to 11 or something less crowded.
Change the network encryption to WPA2 as it is the most secure and most reliable.
Last but not least, update the firmware on the Xfinity router to make sure it's fully up to date with everything.

Unfortunately, you are describing the symptoms of an AirPort Extreme with a failing (or failed) internal power supply.
As a last resort, try a Factory Default Reset on the AirPort Extreme as follows:
Power off the AirPort by pulling the power cord
Wait a minute or two
Hold in the reset button first, and keep holding it in for an additional 8-10 seconds while you simultaneously plug the power back into the AirPort
Release the reset button and allow a full minute for the AirPort to restart
Now try to configure the AirPort again. If you continue to see the same symptoms as before, the AirPort will need to be replaced.

Canon power Shot A300 powers uo, but screen says No Image. Has new AA bateries, SD card, etc...Looks new.
Is the camera just broken ?

When this is displayed on the LCD, that means there are no images on the card. I noticed that you mentioned using an SD card.
Do you actually have the PowerShot A3000 or do you have the original PowerShot A300?

Judging by all the posts on the forum, there seems to be an issue at Apple's end, although they have made no announcement on their status page. Some users have reported that Apple is aware of the issue.

Stolen MacBook Pro - Have tried using the tracker but it says offline, any tips?

My house was broken into on Tuesday and my MacBook appears to be the only thing taken. I had set it up on Find My iPhone, but when I log in to track it, it says offline. I have a heap of personal photos/videos, music, uni work etc that is extremely valuable to me! I know I can remotley wipe it, or lock it, but that will only happen once they connect to the internet right? Should I even bother? Will they will still have access to all my stuff until they connect to the internet, even if I click remote lock? I am just trying to figure out how I can possible track it down and save all my stuff from being deleted! Any advice or tips would be greatly appreciated. Cheers guys.

Call the police and file a report, inform them of the tracking ability and give them what they need.
Most "smart" criminals will simply wipe the drive without connecting online, or let it sit someplace to "cool".

Yes of course, if you didn't use Filevault and set a firmware password.
Mac's are easy as pie to get past the admin password.

Sure keep checking and have a contact number for the police, they will track the IP location, call the ISP and run over there and hope to snag it.

Well it's a bit too late, that's what backups are for.
What if your hard drive died? Same thing you've lost all your data.
All you can do is wait and hope, but I don't place any high odds on it being recovered.

I can't get my mail to send. It will receive, but outgoing says offline.

IF it is just today - it may be a weather related issue - last night I could not connect to this site at all and off and on this morning a number of servers and/or web pages could not be found then were (or pieces of pages)
I have had the problem where mail comes in but I can not send - and that tends to be weather related - or repair related some where on its route.
It always comes back a few hours later.
Also check size of email - if you are sending pictures or multiple documents the carrier may reject it because of size.

ARD Clients Status Says Offline but Online

Does anyone also have a problem where certain ARD clients statuses say that they are "offline", yet they are technology online and are still available to control and observe? I have an entire list where half of the client statuses read offline, even though the machines are online and accessible. Does anyone know how to resolve this problem? It is driving me crazy.

I tried your method and it also worked. I deleted the client from the All Computers list, and then re-added the client's IP manually within the Scanner. It seems like all 3 of our methods will work depending on the situation. Good stuff. Appreciate your reply!

if so, have you tried searching your "all computer" list for that IP address? You might find another computer on your "all computer" list with that ip address. if so:
select the computer listed with that IP address,
get info on that computer record
delete the IP address from the computer record
click done
go back to the computer that was online, but was listed as offline, see if it's not being listed as online. If not, try chicster trick again.

Printer ready but not printing

I have a HP Deskjet F4135 all in one printer. Every once in awhile I will connect my printer to my laptop and it will say its ready to print but when I try and print it will not print it will just show in the document screen "Printing" and then occasionally it will show like "4/1" under the pages column. I have tried canceling and restarting documents and even turning my computer completely off. Please help!

Printer shows connected to internet. eprint websit shows printer ready but can't print email

Unable to print email from my laptop when sent remotely. Printer indicates ready, eprint website indicates printer is ready. I get
delivery failure notices.

Make certain that there is only one recepiant in the 'To' and 'CC' field.
For those who are experiencing ongoing issues with their web services, you can attempt to try the following steps that may
help resolve your problems.
1.) Completely shut down your printer and restart it
2.) If you have prints that have not printed, log into ePrint Center (or create an account if you do not have one) and
then look for your printer status. If printer status is green but you still have pending jobs, delete the pending jobs one at
a time (Starting with the oldest first). There may be a print job stuck in the queue that further restricts other jobs from
completing.
a. If option 1 or 2 above still doesn’t work, removing web services and re-adding web services will cause the printer to
reattach to the cloud.
b. Please note that if you attempt option 3, you will get a new eprint email address (and lose your custom one with no
ability to get it back) furthermore, you will need to re-add your printer back to your ePC account.

Office Jet 4500 G510n Printer Ready but error comes up in status

I have a Office Jet 4500 G510n and a MacBook Pro 15 late 2006 Model 2, Ver 10.6.8
I upgraded the HD to a SSD and everything works find except the printer. I can go to Utility and the TEST PAGE prints OK.
However, on STATUS it reads: "error/library/Printers/hp/cups/inkjet1.driver/contents/macos/injet/failed
I have checked on drivers and all I saw were for the "extra Page" ...

From research on this HP Support site, I found that in Mac OSX they auto download updates for printing. Did not think about transfering my old HD to a SSD that those updates would follow... they did not. So... I downloaded all the updates (driver)to my new SSD and the HP Printer works!

Officejet 4620 prints from HP Printer Assistant but shows as offline for normal print jobs

I just purchased an Officejet 4620 to use wirelessly on our home network -- we have two Thinkpads running Windows 7 64-bit. I followed the installation instructions and successfully printed out test pages using both the Printer Properties page in Windows and the HP Printer Assistant (which, by the way, shows that the printer is online and ready). However, when I try to print from any other program (Word, Chrome, etc.), after a moment or two I get an error message saying the printer is offline and asking if I want to cancel the print job. Yet when I check the online status, it again shows that it is online and I can, again, successfully print a test page.
What could possibly be causing this? It makes no sense to me.

Email print not working - website says Offline

My printer works fine on my network and earlier today I sent an email to it and the email printed fine.
Have now moved the printer to a different room and laptops and phones on the network are all still printing to it OK.
But when I send an email to it it does not print - hpconnect site says the printer is 'offline' - yet within the network all is fine.
How can I get it back online?

Welcome to the HP Support Forums. I gather that since moving your HP printer to a different location that the printer is indicating that it no longer has a connection to ePrint.
To better assist you, would you please provide some further information:
What make/model/product number of HP printer do you have? How Do I Find My Model Number or Product Number?
What does the web services information sheet say when you print it? Do you get a claim code or the ePrint email address that you use? Getting the Printer Claim Code is the document to follow to print/reprint the web services information sheet.
Have you tried assigning a static IP address and static DNS servers? If you are unsure how to do this please refer to HP’s Wireless Printing Center – Common Questions. The instructions to set a static ip are in the section titled “Wireless connection issues” in the sub-section “Will a static IP address keep my computer from losing communication with my wireless printer? Please use 8.8.8.8 for the Manual Preferred DNS server and please use 8.8.4.4 for the Manual Alternate DNS server. These are Google’s public DNS servers.

FPGA compiler Server status says idle but Status says compiling VHDL

when i compile my FGPA vi file , after some time in the compile server window "Server status" shows "idle.." but the status box shows "Compiling VHDL".
It stays in this condition for a long time about 30 mins. Why is this happening? I am also attaching the screenshot of the compile server.
FPGA vi i am trying to compile is the Sine Generator.vi which was there in examples under FPGA Fundamanetals->Analysis and Controls.

I am attaching the block diagram of the fpga vi. It is a sine generator example which was in the labview examples folder.
I am seeign this behaviour only when i compile this fpga vi. I have compiled other fpga vi's without any problem.

My iphone has been stolen so i went to icloud and did the remote wipe/erase. but it says offline pending erase. how will i know when my pictures and all other data have been erased?

I think I am following -- I was able to upload to my iPhoto and all photos and videos are there that is a plus! I tried to create an Event in my iPhoto and put all of my photos in that event but for some reason, now my iTunes it not recognizing that Event in my iPhoto. It is not allowing me to import just that event at the moment but I may be doing something wrong. At least all of my pics and vids are in iPhoto so that is a plus and I know they are at least saved somewhere. Just for some reason, my iTunes it not locating the event that I created with only those photos.

Also, I had no clue that my iCloud could be backed up via cellular data! However, is this a new feature with the most updated iOS?? Unforutnatly I am like 2 iOS updates behind because I don't have enough storage on my phone. How can I sync using USB? Right now when i click on the info tab for my iPhone in my iTunes this is the answer that I get -- I am a little unclear as to what it means.
