LP10 and MB1A simultaneously

Hi,
I am using the WM PP interface to stage via pick parts. Is there a way to have the LP10 staging TO confirmation to trigger the MB1A 261 behind the scenes. Right now I need to do the LP10, then I need to confirm the TO with the actual batch which is picked and staged (in case the batch detemined in the production order is not really available in the bin) and then I need to do the MB1A 261 as I dont use backflush. It seems too much of work for the business. Is there a way where I can have the MB1A triggered automatically from the TO confirmation after the material handler confirm the move to the PSA bin ?

     This is the reply I got back from the developer. Any ideas?
I have checked the exit provided EXIT_SAPLL03T_002 - MWMTO002. Here is my analysis:
-          On saving the TO via transaction LT12, the exit gets triggered but under UPDATE TASK.( You need to change your debugging settings to see this)
-          Since its under UPDATE TASK, we cannot use it to call MB1A transaction from here being under the one LUW.
-          Calling a Commit Work in an update is not allowed
-          Refer enhancement documentation which prohibits use of any statements like COMMIT WORK, ROLLBACK WORK, LEAVE etc.
Thus this doesn’t look technically feasible with the user exit provided."

Export and Import Simultaneously

Hi All,
we daily get requests to sync a schemas.
ex: copy data from user a to user b (both users are in the same database)
as usual we take export of user A schema and import into user B.
This process takes somewhere around 80 to 100 mins ( after tuning the imp/exp)
This steps needs to be done before testing each patch and we have lot of patches to test.we are spending lot of our time in exp/imp and developers are unable to test more than 3 patches a day.
instead of exp and imp I thought of using copy command . but COPy is not working for tables with clobs and we have a great number of tables with clobs cols.
I read an article a while ago about exp and imp Simultaneously.
i.e one process exports the data to a file while the other process reads the data from the same file and imports it. I don't know where did I read this article and I couldn't find it now.
I would like to know the experts advices/best practices to reduce SYNC time so that our developers can test more patches.

You can use Pipe nodes and nohup background OS processes.
A short example:
# mknod exp_pipe p
# mknod imp_pipe p
# cat exp_pipe > exp_file.dmp &
# cat exp_file.dmp > imp_pipe &
# nohup exp system full=y file=exp_pipe &
# nohup imp system file=imp_pipe fromuser=scott touser=scott &

F2 and IV simultaneously

Hi,
We are running VF04 with Delivery Related, Order Related and Intercompany Billing. During first run it creates F2, L2, G2 and in second run it creates IV's.
Is there any configuration required to create both F2 and IV simultaneously by running VF04 or VF01 only once ?
Please let me know on how to achieve this.

We implemented the note.
Now in VF04, i can see both IV and F2 lines as below.

When I click on SAVE, it just creates F2 and there will be an error log for IV as below.

Is it possible to do the audio capture and playback simultaneously?

In short :
Is it possible to do the audio capture and playback simultaneously? . If it is not supported directly by Sun, pl suggest another way to achieve the same.
In detail:
I am doing a voice chat application by using the streaming through UDP . I am able to play the byte stream. But , is it possible to capture sound simultaneously (while playing the audio) to send to the other end?

If you're Airplaying from you computer, you might be able to do this. Here's what I would try:
Go to the Airplay icon in iTunes. You should see both your Apple TV and your speakers listed as options. Select "Multiple speakers." You'll see both devices together. Turn the volume all the way down on the Apple TV. You should be getting the video on the TV, but only hear audio through the speakers.
Using the "Multiple Speakers" option will sync the output of your devices so that the sound matches the picture.
I haven't tried this myself, but I'm thinking this would work. However, this approach will only work when using Airplay from your computer – not from am iPad or iPhone – as they don’t have the "Multiple Speakers" option (as far as I know). It also won't work with content streamed directly to your ATV, obviously, because there's no way to stream from ATV to other devices.
Let me know if this works.

whenever you need a BADI...
Follow the below steps to find out what all BADI's are called when you press any button in any transaction.
1) Goto se24 (Display class cl_exithandler)
2) Double click on the method GET_INSTANCE.
3) Put a break point at Line no.25 (CASE sy-subrc).
Now
4) Execute SAP standard transaction
5) Press the required button for which you need to write an exit logic, the execution will stop at the break point.
6) Check the values of variable 'exit_name', it will give you the BADI name called at that time.
7) This way you will find all the BADIs called on click of any button in any transaction.

As far as I know there should be an option named Monitor Input in the Levels tab of the Speaker Properties in Windows Vista... However - I am missing such option... When use scan mode and FPGA simultaneously, why does the FIFO Read can not be used?

Hello, I am using compactRIO-9025 to do a project and trying to use scan mode and FPGA simultaneously ( Hybrid mode). I have already build a project as the following tutorial.

In the FPGA Target of the project, I add a FIFO and tried to use it to log in data from NI 9871. I wired the module I/O node to FIFO Write in the target vi. However, when I droped the invoke method to the block diagram of the host vi and right clicked it, there is no FIFO Read can be choose. Could you please help me to solve this problem?

I am not aware that using the Scan Engine is blocking any access to a transfer FIFO. But please reread this from your quoted KB:
Secondly, the number of DMA FIFO's that can be used in the FPGA code will be reduced, since the scan engine uses two DMA FIFO's. Most FPGAs have 3 DMA FIFO's, so there will only be one DMA channel left to use in the FPGA code.
This means, you have only a single DMA FIFO left which is either Target to Host or Host to Target.
Make sure that you configured the FIFO to be the correct direction for your needs...

Since I don't know your exact configuration I will make some basic assumptions based on how it appears that you have configured the DAQ Assistant Express VIs.
Assumptions:
1. You have only one DAQ board in your system.
2. You want to scan continously
3. You want to acquire 3 temperature channels at a rate of 1000S/s and take 100 readings at a time
4. You want to acquire 2 voltage channels at a rate of 1000S/s and take 1000 readings at a time.
Based on this configuration your first problem is that you have configured the DAQ board to acquire continously in the first call to the DAQ Assistant (your first frame of the sequence structure). This ties up all the analog acquisition resources without releasing them. When you make your second call to the DAQ Assistant (your second frame of the sequence structure) you are creating a conflict because the DAQ board is already busy running your first request. At this point you are probably receiving an error but you might not see this since you are not doing error checking in your code. This is also why you are only getting one set of data. Next iteration of the while loop the first call to the DAQ Assistance reconfigures the board and executes again and so the cycle repeats itself.
I don't have a DAQ board installed so I can't confirm with certainty if I am correct but you can do this by simply changing the DAQ Assistant properties. In the 'Task Timing' tab change from 'Acquire Continuosly' to 'Acquire N Samples'.
Assuming this works all you have done is confirmed that my assumptions are correct and technically your program should work. So now some programming advice.
It's ok to scan all channels at once even though they might not be of the same type so go ahead and configure all your channels in one DAQ Assistant call and get rid of the sequence structure. Decide on one set of parameters for Scan Rate and Samples to Read, in your case I doubt this will be a problem. Since you are performing the same analysis on all channels you don't need to parse your data simply pass the 'data' from your DAQ Assistant into a single 'Amplitude and Level Measurements' Express VI. You will now have a single array with all your Mean values based on the order the channels are configured. If you want to plot the data in different graphs all you need to do is parse your channels using the 'Split Signals' or 'Select Signals' Express VI.
Hope this makes some sense.

Lightroom and CS3 Simultaneously - How much memory?

I've been trying to use Lightroom's image management features, but need to finish the "keepers" in CS3. The problem is my computer only has 2G of RAM, and both Lightroom and CS3 are giant memory hogs. Has anyone been able to successfully run both programs at the same time (with reasonably complicated PS files consisting of a dozen layers or so) ?
If so, how much memory does it take? 4G 8G?

The wording of your question seems to suggest that your setup has issues with running Lr and Ps simultaneously. Disk thrashing? Memory swapping? Slow performance? What is your machine configuration?
I have an Intel Dual 2 Core machine with 2Gb RAM and routinely run Lr (on Canon 20D raw files), Ps CS3 beta, Bridge, email client, and Firefox web client all at the same time with little issue.
And have you consulted Adobe's knowledge base for performance tips?

Thank you ever so much for your kind replies! (I tried giving you the 10 pts. of 'Correct Answers' to each of you, but unfortunately it was only possible for Klaus1, so the points were distributed between him and BDAqua even though you were all helpful!)
My next question will naturally be: Is SheepShaver legal? My Google search didn't yield any conslusive proof that it was, nor any that it wasn't, but as the E-Maculation web page seemed quite official and above board I would assume that it is.
The next logical step would be to ask whether it's safe for both HW and SW to run SheepShaver. HW, it appears, is very rarely, if ever, affected by SW settings, so I would assume that hardwarewise, I'm good to go. Could it ruin the kernel of Mac OS X's Unix-based operating system?
