Is there a preset for the Mac Book Pro key board config. in LP9? The key commands options menu doesn't specify one. There was one in LP8.

i have been using my mac book pro for more than 11 months.
.My use is pretty safe as i use it only at my home and do not carry it to office...
my confusion is that shall i consider the APPLECARE PLAN....the plan is almost 20% of the laptops cost....Will spending so much money be worth itLike any other insurance, it's only worth it if you have a problem. I've purchased it on my "high risk" Macs and not purchased on the others. So far I've never needed it.

when using my mac book pro, there's a window that comes up saying to force quit applications. i've done the updates cleaned out computer and have taken it in but it wont stop coming up. what can i do?
The force quit window appears when you:
a) type the key combination <CMD> + <OPT> + <ESC>
b) you select the menu item " > Force Quit..." -
IPhone 4s not showing on Mac Book Pro
Hi all,
I'm using a Mac Book Pro and an iPhone 4s. Both are installed with the latest updates/OS. Although my iPhone is able to charge off my Mac Book, whenever I plug it in, I get a message that says camera not found and am unable to access any of the pics/videos etc from my phone through the computer. It doesn't show up in the computer menu either. Is this normal?!

NiallI don't know if it's related, but there have been some synching issues with the iPhone after 2.2.1. Try deauthorizing then immediately reauthorizing your MacBook on iTunes. Then try syncing your iPhone.

Can I use my Mac book pro while downloading a long tv series from iTunes? Or will I lose my connection ? And my money?
I use my MacBook Pro all the time when downloading something from the iTunes store without losing my connection. If you would probably depends on the general stability of your WiFi or LAN connection, but you should not.
Also, if a download should get interrupted you can always start it again by going to "Downloads" in iTunes. -
Hi I am having trouble with iMessage on the mac book pro, it doesnt sync with the ipad and iPhone, both the ipad and iPhone do but not on the mac book pro , has anyone any suggestions, thanks in advance
First, make sure that all your devices are using the same Apple ID in iMessages including your Mac. Second, your messages that you've already started on your devices will not show up on your Mac - only ones that you start from now on will show up. Third, if you're still not syncing accross all devices, make sure you read the directions on the first page of this thread. It should work after performing those steps. Good luck!

CD will not load in mac book pro. Tried different cd's, tried same cd in different mac book but it works on other mac book but will not work on initial mac book. Tried pressing command/option/esc. Tried restarting and shutting down computer but still will not load cd. It goes in but pops back out. Any ideas?

Cleaning discs will load. On a MBP that has never been cleaned, run the cleaning 2-3 times. If you use the slot a lot, use the cleaning disc about every 3 months. -
I purchased Photoshop Elements and Premiere package today. I have been trying to download them but it tells me the serial numbers are inapplicable. iPod Shuffle 2nd generation not appearing in Mac Book Pro device window. USB checked and OK as I can charge iPod by connecting to power outlet. Reset iPod and no change. Kindly advise on what to do next.
