LR 1,1 Not Dowloading Properly...Runtime Error
I have LR 1.0 on my computer and am using Microsoft Professional XP. When I dowload 1.1 it works almost to the end and upon launch the "Runtime Error" (Microsoft Virtual C++) comes up. I called Adobe and they said it's a Microsoft problem and then I called Microsoft and they said it's Adobe's problem. I've spent two hours on the phone today and have no solution. On the other hand I had no problems installing the PS CS3 upgrade. Any help anyone can give would be greatly appreciated. Do I dump LR and stick with CS3?

Joachim,
I had the same problem; simple solution, double-click on your LR database - that tells LR where it is. Seems it loses the location of the database in the swap from 1.0 to 1.1.
Another way of doing this it seems is to hold down Ctrl while starting the program; it then asks for the database location.

Just attempted to download current update of Itunes into my HP computer with Windows 7. I've never had trouble before but now it will not run. Runtime Error R6034 an app has make an attempt to load the C runtime library incorrectly. Itunes Error 7
Click here and follow the instructions. You may need to completely remove and reinstall iTunes and all related components, or run the process multiple times; this won't normally affect its library, but that should be backed up anyway.

R6002 - floating point not loaded / C++ Runtime Error
Good Evening,
I have been having this problem with Adobe Bridge for a while and tonight sat down to try and solve it. Fresh version of Windows XP reinstalled all programs and this is still happening! Any Ideas?
This error only occurs with Adobe Bridge, I can load Photoshop etc.. all fine.
Error:
"Runtime Error!
Program: C:\ProgramFiles\Adobe\Adobe Bridge CS3\Bridge.exe
R6002
- floating point not loaded"
Here is a print screen..
http://images.unbrokenphotography.co.uk/BridgeError.jpgIs there are answer to this problem? This error message is appearing on an entire lab full of computers. We are running Web Premium CS4
I have tried to reset the Bridge Preferences:
Hold down the Ctrl key and click on Bridge icon to start.
Should get a reset window with 3 options.
Choose the first option
I still get "Runtime Error! Program: C:\Prgram Files\Adobe\Adobe Bridge CS4\Bridge.exe R6002 -floating point support not loaded" -
ValueHelp iview not found - Portal Runtime Error
I get the following portal runtime error when clickingon a input help: "iView not found: pcd:portal_content/com.sap.portal.migrated/ep_5.0/roles/com.sap.pct.crm.crm_default_services/nf/ValueHelp."
I've checked the Business Package for com.sap.pct.crm.crm_default_services and it isn't there. Does anyone know where I can find this object? Thanks for the response.
I deployed the entire com.sap.pct.crm.crm.epa file which should be the entire Business Package (portal side). Is there a prerequisite or another download that you are aware of? I also downloaded BPCRM40R3601 and checked the epa file which didn't inlcude the missing default_services. Any ideas? -
Could not activate InfoObject (Runtime Error = UNCAUGHT_EXCEPTION)
Dear Experts,
I got stuck on activating an existing InfoObject-A after changing one attribute.
Situation
- there was no data in the InfoObject at all.
- change attribute from InfoObject-B1 to InfoObject-B2
- activate InfoObject-A
- got short dump
Short dump detail
- Runtime Error = UNCAUGHT_EXCEPTION (An exception that could not be caught occurred.)
- Except. = CX_SY_SQL_ERROR
- What happened?
The exception 'CX_SY_SQL_ERROR' was raised but was not caught at any stage in the call hierarchy.
Since exceptions represent error situations, and since the system could not react adequately to this error, the current program, 'RSDRS_MSSQL_ROUTINES', had to be terminated.
Any suggestion for resolving this case would be appreciated.
Thank you very much.

Interesting angle on 'Provider cannot be found. It may not be properly installed' error
Hi, I am getting the "Provider cannot be found. It may not be properly installed" message when running a .bat->VBScript script using Windows Task Scheduler. I am not seeing a solution in Google searches. Possibly I am not seeing the similarities because of a lack of detail in posts. Who knows.
Info as follows:
- Installed ODAC1120320_x64.zip using my personal user account.
- Using my personal user account there is no problem. I use file explorer to run a .bat file that in turn calls the VBScript.
- Using the System account and Windows Task Scheduler the script fails with the above error.
- File ACLs for the Oracle home\..\bin directory give full control to the System account
- ACLs for the ORAOLEDB.Oracle registry key gives access to the System account. I am assuming that all other key-value pairs involved in this problem have the same ACLs.
- Hosted on Windows 2008 (VM)
- The scripting language is VBScript, called from a .bat file. Task Scheduler calls the .bat file.
- The scheduled task has the "Run with highest privilages" box checked (same problem with the box unchecked).
- This configuration and script works well on an older Windows 2003 (dedicated) server
- Connection string:
"Provider=ORAOLEDB.Oracle;" &_
"User ID=[DB Schema Name];Password=[password];" &_
"Data Source=[TSN name];"
- I can mess with aspects of the TSN name and file without a change in the error message
Thanks for your help.
NathanWe got the same error under windows 2003 SP2 and Oracle 10g release 2. Is there any problem with this provider in this release? We installed downgrade version of this provider, it is working. Is there any other way to avoid this error without going for downgrade?

"System Update could not start properly" - New error just started (WinXP SP3)
I can no longer run System Update; it displays the splash screen, then a small window pops up with the above error message. I just ran it last a day or two ago, and it installed a few things; since then I have also run Microsoft Update and it also installed a few things, which I backed out one at a time (except for the malicious software removal updates)--all to no avail. Anyone else seen this, any suggestions?
Thanks,
Jonathan

Web sites not loading properly / Account Error: Nonexistent
Something strange has begun happening with the websites I've been publishing through iWeb and Me.com -
When the site loads, parts of it are missing or load improperly, such as a picture, or a border around a picture, and so on.
However, the really strange part is that when I refresh the page, a different part of the website is missing or has loaded improperly, each and every time. It almost seems like the server is choosing at random which elements of the website to load, and which not to.
Often when refreshing, the site doesn't load at all, and a white page with the error, "Account Error: Nonexistent" appears, but upon refreshing again, the site goes back into its cycle of random loading.
This only started for me recently, and I would be greatly appreciative if anyone knows the cause and fix to this problem. I don't know if it's iWeb that caused this, or Me.com, or even something else I've done.
Thank you kindly!I have exactly the same issue on several pages of mine. If I publish them on my MobileMe master Account or family member account, these random loading difficulties occur. If I publish on another Account that I got from Apple Support for testing, it works perfectly. So it has something to do with certain Accounts on MobileMe, for example with mine... In my case, the problem is always here, around the clock. If I reload the page, it usually works but not always.
Apples MobileMe support is on the case since 4 days, I will post results as soon I have any.
Sometimes, the menu of the page does not load, sometimes images are missing, sometimes fonts are wrong, sometimes the background is missing, sometimes I have an the message "Account Error: Nonexistent". When I reload the page, it usually works or the problem is slightly different.
I did publish the sites from scratch, without improvement. It happens on other browsers than Safari and on other OS like Windows XP. It really is a problem with MobileMe. UNACCEPTABLE !

Hi,
I am facing an issue for Inconsistency in Delta extraction due to a Init Request Mismatch.
I found out an SAP Note 852443 for the same and it provided me with a workaround solution for the same.
But , this Issue is frequently reappearing for the same Data Source and I need to find a permanent fix/solution for the same.
Kindly help me in this.
Thanks,
VimarshHi.....
I have gone through the SAP note......what I have understood I will explain you....
1) You need to compare the Init request (ex : REQU_44H2K09BTG5799G2JXCORI1O5) in both BW and R/3 side....both should be same......
In the R/3 side the value of the field : RNR of the table :RSSDLINIT should match with the value of the field : INITRNR of the table ROOSPRMSC in the R/3 side.....
2) If there are NO entries in the RSSDLINIT table in BW, use transaction RSA7 to delete the delta queue for this DataSource/BW application combination in the source system (OLTP).........this step is very simple.......
3) But the confusion arrise when value is there in the table RSSDLINIT in the BW side.......then check the same Request number in the table ROOSPRMSF and ROOSPRMSC tables with the INITRNR field.
If, in the ROOSPRMSF and ROOSPRMSC tables for your DataSource source system combination, there are more entries with different INITRNR numbers...............it means if the value doesn't match or multiple values are there then also same solution ...........i.e...........use transaction RSA7 in an OLTP source system to delete all entries ...............then use the Program : RSSM_OLTP_INIT_DELTA_UPDATE and then delete all init selections in the 'Scheduler/Init selections in the source system' menu in the InfoPackage.......
4) But if it is a DataMart datasource that is a Export Dtasource then the solution is different.........starting with 8
But I don't want to confuse you.........first check whether is is a Export Datasource or not.....

'file is not valid mpeg' runtime error while building
I have imported a series of files exported from Premiere Pro 2.0 into Encore, which lists them as 'do not transcode' on the project window. Running a project check doesn't find any problems, yet when I try to build the DVD, either directly to disk or to a folder on the HD, I get the above message. This happens at about 1/3rd of the process, but doesn't tell me which one of the files isn't a valid mpeg.
This is most annoying, as there are nearly 20 smallish clips in the project, if I know which file is supposed to be 'not valid' I could re-export it.
Any ideas?
Many thanksBut then would i have to re edit the dvd menu?
Casey,
You are loosing me here. If you are only replacing the Video Asset, the Menu should not figure into the equation.
The exact steps that you are using to replace that Asset in En could well hold the key. These steps can be very important.
Since you have done the Encore Project before, with other Assets, have you flushed your Media Cache in En? That would be my first step.
Now, are you trying to Import maybe a 16:9 Asset into a 4:3 En Project? That could spell trouble.
Good luck,
Hunt -
I have new win 8 pc. PS 64 bit does not install properly. get error that update failed
I'm installing PS CC on a new win 8 pc. I think it installs, because i can open it. But on the CC site, when i press the update button, the update fails. says to retry. fails. i have all updated drivers and updates to windows 64 bit win 8.
I'm going to answer my own question in hopes it helps someone else. I had the problem immediately after I had installed PS CC. Once I restarted the computer and tried again, it worked.

Error analysis
An overflow has been determined in the current arithmetical operation
containing operands of type P. Possible causes include:
1. The results field of type P is to small and the result does not fit
into it.
places.
2. The result or partial result has more than 31 decimal places.
How to correct the error
You may need to define the result field to be larger, if it is still
possible to do so.
It may be possible to split the current process so that only smaller
values occur.
