LR 2.2/2.3 errors out after every 15-20 image imports

I've seen several topics in the forums discussing errors when exporting images out of LR but I have been experiencing issues during the import process.
I was running LR 2.2 on Mac OS 10.5.6 without any issues. When 2.3RC was released, I addded it on and used it for a few days. It was very buggy so I deleted it and started using 2.2 again. Last night, I went to import the first batch of images (in 2.2) since deleting 2.3RC and got an error message which killed the import process. Now, I totally apologize but I do not have the actual error message to provide but I think it was something along the lines of LR not being able to find a location of sorts.
I assumed that this was a fluke and restarted the import (minus the images that were already imported into the catalog) and the same error occurred after another 20 or so images.
Is it safe for me to assume that this is related to the memory leak issue that others are posting about when exporting? Also, is it possible that some remnants of 2.3RC are in use even though I deleted the actual application? Should I remove all instances of the app and re-install?

I hadn't imported many files using 2.3RC so I just tried it.

The operation took 1 minute 10 seconds excluding the time to create the standard profiles.

I'm getting error messages after every use of pacman. Don't know if it's compromising the usage, but it's quite annoying. The messages are the following:

Because the file you get errors about is owned by that package, I'd try a normal reinstallation first though, the f flag isn't the safest one...

BPEL Console errors out after 10.1.3.4 MLR#9 8589928 upgrade

BPEL Console is completely down after upgrading from 10.1.3.3 to 10.1.3.4 using patchset# 7272722 and on top of it applying the MLR#9 8589928 patch. It errors out as follows:-

Expense request getting errored out after Expense approver rejected

Dear Experts,
I am facing issues where employee expense request is getting errored out when the expenses approver reject the Request.
We are using a workflow to move this request.
Once the employee submitted the expense request. We are having 2 level approval of his/her. Supervisor at the 1st and Expense approver at 2nd level
In the 2nd phase the Expense approver rejecting the travel request to make modifications, however the rejected request is NOT routing back to the employee.
Any assistance highly appreciated

The required work flow is properly configured. I can see after rejection it has been routed to the employee again.
However after rejection its getting errored out, any idea on the possible reasons, does er approver is selecting or inputing any incorrect parameters.

DBUA errors out after collecting server information

Hi,
We are in the process of upgrading Oracle Database from 9i to 11g on AIX 6.1. After installing the Oracle Software 11g (11.2.0.1) we try to run the DBUA but after showing the screen collecting server information a blank page appears (with no error code) after which the DBUA stops.

Have to reset digital out after every reboot - please he

I have my speakers digitally connected to my X-Fi and i'm facing the following problem: after every WinXP reboot i have to reset the digital out in the THX setup console in order to get sound again. My drivers are the latest version, downloaded from the Creative site, whereas the tools (various setup consoles) are from the original install CD. Is maybe this causing it's Are there later versions of the consoles available (to correspond to the latest drivers), didn't find any on the Creative site?
Would appreciate help...

I was having the same problem, but it seems for me it's just if I'm in game mode. I use x-fi mode changer http://www.freewebs.com/spectra9/xfmc.html?and have the default setting as Entertainment mode. Now I almost never have to waste time switching digital out off and on again. I've got bf2 and bf242, and gamespy set to automatically switch to game mode via this utility so I don't curse myself anymore for forgetting to switch to game mode anymore.

[Solved] pacman errors out after a hardlock

Hi, I experienced a hardlock today due to a bad memory stick during a pacman update. Now pacman tells me this (with --debug):

I deinstalled openoffice-base but I still get the same error.
Oh I think I found the culprit, in /var/lib/pacman/sync/extra/openoffice-base-3.1.0-1/ all files are empty.
I'm removing this directory now...
execute pacman -Syu again
still doesn't work
someone on IRC suggests pacman -Syy, this forces a synchronization of the database
I did that and now I do pacman -S openoffice-base.
This works, it's downloading openoffice-base from one of the mirrors now.
I thought I'd share this.

Every time after turning on my iMac, I get the "Error"-Message:

I should emphasize, that all is working fine – but the message is a little bit boring.
Does anybody has an idea, what pref(s) keep(s) the false information and can be trashed without causing any bad consequences?

These instructions must be carried out as an administrator. If you have only one user account, you are the administrator.
Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad and start typing the name.
In the Console window, select
DIAGNOSTIC AND USAGE INFORMATION ▹ System Diagnostic Reports
(not Diagnostic and Usage Messages) from the log list on the left. If you don't see that list, select

There is a disclosure triangle to the left of the list item. If the triangle is pointing to the right, click it so that it points down. You'll see a list of reports. In the interest of privacy, I suggest that, before posting, you edit out the “Anonymous UUID,” a long string of letters, numbers, and dashes in the header of the report, if it’s present (it may not be.)
Please don’t post other kinds of diagnostic report.
I know the report is long, maybe several hundred lines. Please post all of it anyway.

Error message after ejecting cd that was imported onto iTunes

After I import a cd onto iTunes and then eject the cd I get an error message saying that "There is no disc in the drive" and it asks me to insert the disc and try again. The only way to get around it is to hit cancel 4 time.
Does anyone know how to fix this?

I am getting the same freezing problem also on a Dell laptop. As soon as the I hit burn itunes freezes without error. It appears that Itunes scans the playlist fine but never actually starts burning the disc. I am unable to get this to work since Friday. All the songs are playing fine without error from the playlist. Also, in my folder it displays all songs as MP4? But in Itunes itself it displays all songs as ACC files. Also, under the help section in itunes it says that ACC files need to be burned as a data disc? Is this correct even though these are music files and why would the itunes folder on my computer display these as mp4 and then as ACC in itunes itself? I can burn a data disc without error but as soon as I select audio cd from the buring preferences I am unable to burn.

Check and see if you've got too many things running concurrently. Double-click the home key to see your list of most recent programs. Press and hold the icons in the app tray until they jiggle, and then remove the ones you don't need. Even when programs are "closed" they still leave footprints in memory so that if you were to re-access that program, it will open up faster. This should free up some memory.
If you don't have many apps installed and running, then I am not sure what would be causing your problems.

Supplier Sites Interface errors out -- URGENT!! please help.

The log file has the following message when executing the supplier sites interface import program that errored out:
REP-1419: 'beforereport': PL/SQL program aborted.
I have searched Metalink where they said the Batch Size should be 1000 by default. I did the same but still did not work.
I have made sure that teh vendor_id, vendor_site_code, org_id combination is unique.
I am not sure why I am getting this record. I have to process around 300000 records. When I ran the import progam the first time, it errored out after processing 171000 records. Then when I ran the program again for new records(that were not imported) it errored out after processing 42000 records. I dod not know how to resolve this issue.

You are adventurous. Nothing wrong with your Mac. If I were you I would leave terminal and Console alone until you get familiar with your Mac. Even then unless you absolutely know what you are doing in Terminal you could end up with an expensive door stop. Play around with iPhoto, Safari Address Book, iCal. Read some Mac books from your local bookstore. Hang out at the forums. in short just have fun.

RAR5.3 - Alert Generation background job repeatedly errors out

Hello,
We have an Alert Generation job that we've set up to run daily on
PR2/150 strictly for the Transaction Usage Report. We do not
use Alerts so the only parameter we set for this job is "Generate
Action Log." The job will run anywhere from 2 to 4 hours before it
errors out. Every time this job, this process overflows its allotment
on the backend of 4GB and consequently creates a system dump. The job
is just too big.
We've reviewed the powerpoint "Risk Analysis and Remediation Alerts,

This powerpoint basically says Alert Generation jobs should run every 1-
4 hours, otherwise they can get very large. We applied note 1015921 to
change the Last Run Date in order to decrease the size of the job. The
farthest we were able to set the Last Run Date back and have the alert
generation job run successfully was 2 minutes. This is unacceptable for
us as we need the jobs to at least run for 1 hour time periods.
What can we do to ensure our alert generation jobs complete
successfully in a manageable time period?
Any info or guidance would be greatly appreciated!

there seems to be a problem with the SID table of your master data. test it with RSRV and repair any errors.

Do you also connect the external USB drive to the AC power as well while you use it ?
Sometimes USB external drive problems are resolved simply by plugging them into the mains power and trying again.
