LR 3.6 and PSE 6.0 To New Computer

I just purchased a Windows 8 computer to replace my old Windows XP computer, on which i have Lightroom 3.6 and Photoshop Elements 6.0. My photos are on an external drive and will remain there after I install LR and PSE on my new computer. My question is which of LR or PSE I should install first on my new computer. (Does it matter?) I plan to continue to use LR as the primary program for catalog, developing, exporting, etc., with PSE used for selective adjustments to some photos only.

I don't know that it really matters. However, I would install Photoshop Elements first. Then, when you install Lightroom, it will be easy to choose it as your external editor.

The computer (windows platform) where I initially began using Itunes has four other computers/devices that are shared with it. All four of the other computers show up in my account, and can be managed. Or I can remove them. But on the new computer that I want to be my base computer (home if you will). The computer I want it to replace, when ITunes is open, has a tool bar, with various functions. All of the other devices are linked to that computer in ITunes, under Home SHaring. The new computer, shows the downloads via Home Sharing, but it does not show/have any tool bar.
I want to activate the new computer to be the computer via ITunes where all of the devices are linked to it as the base for ITunes. And, I don't know how to make that happen.
I hope that makes sense.

The Activation server for AA 7 was taken down. I am not sure this link is complete, but it might give you some idea. However, on WIn7 and newer, AA7 has problems and will only work with some workarounds, and then kind of clunky.

Nothing gets imported. Simply restore the ENTIRE iTunes folder to the new/restored computer.
Download and install iTunes from Apple's website.
The first time iTunes is launched, assuming the ENTIRE iTunes folder is restored to the correct location, it will launch and be exactly as it was prior to the comptuer issues. If for some reason this does not work, close iTunes, hold the SHIFT key while launching iTunes and a prompt will appear to choose or create a new iTunes library. At this point simply point iTunes to the correct location for the existing iTunes library.

While this won't help if you are having password problems, I did want to point out that you do not need to access old machines to de-authorize them. Once you are signed in at the iTunes store, access "my account" by clicking on your username in the top navigation bar. Then "manage devices". You can remove any old machines that way.
