Lr Beta Mk 11 announced in UK - but nowhere to be seen

Digital Photography Review announced release of a 3 Beta update at 0940 Z this morning - but the link to the download just goes to the original Labs page. If DPR is right it will dash the hopes of many for a near release of Lr 3 proper. They also hint at the new Beta including import and management of video files - which if correct shows how little notice is taken of this forum. No mention of soft proofing - although that doesn't mean it will not feature in the final release. Link to DPR:

Installed extension but nowhere to be seen

I installed a Flypaper extension and it shows up in extension manager
But I can't find it anywhere.
Window > Extensions is greyed out.
How can I get the extension to work?
Windows 7 -64, Photoshop CC 2014.

Any chance you have this unchecked?
Also, have you closed and reopened Photoshop after the installation? I don't know that that's necessary as I don't use extension panels myself, but it seems like a good thing to try.

Nano on WMP files copied but nowhere to be seen help!!

Set my nano up..went like clock work. It identified my files on WMP,copied them..bimgo I thought.Thing is I can't find them in my itunes programme.

I am trying to help my mother build her iTunes library. I want to transfer files from my iTunes to hers. I have tried HomeSharing, but the "Show/Import" menu buttons are nowhere to be seen on either of our computers. We have PCs, not MacBooks.

I want to import some of my iTunes files to my mother's iTunes account so she doesn't have to pay again to get them. We are going on a trip soon, and she wanted some movies to watch on here iPad. Some of the movies, I already have. I can't seem to do anything. Homesharing has been useless, because while her iTunes can 'see' my iTunes and vice versa, the magic "Show" and more importantly the magic "Import" buttons are nowhere to be seen. How in the **** am I supposed to share my files if I can't import them to her library for her? I have seen many solutions for people using iTunes on a MacBook, but we don't have MacBooks in our house. I have a Samsung laptop and Mom has a Gateway laptop, and both operate on Windows 7. Seriously. This should not be impossible, but right now, it seems that way. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Yeah, I know I can restore it, but I might as well go ahead and try. I just finished a backup for icloud and itunes to make sure, I'll go ahead and restore it and set it up as new and see how that works. Seems like I have no other options at this point, I'd still like to know what they did with the Download tab in itunes store, if they removed it or if I'm just overlooking it.

The idea to jumpstart by change was not the smartest one, but gives you an opportunity to use that "temporary" account as permanent. You do not have a choice cause obviously despite you thinking that old account is no more -it does exist on Apple servers. And if you are unwilling to share your [email protected] with friend, just create one extra [email protected] for your friend. One suggestion - do not use gmail.

Mac OS X 10.9.2 was released today for this issue and others. Earlier versions are not affected.

Camera's USB device appears on iPhoto but nowhere on the Desktop

Camera is Fuji F30 (previous was Fuji F700).
With the F700 we could access the F700's USB memory directly from the Desktop which was very convenient (see other post in this area)
Now we can see the F30 as an icon within iPhoto but nowhere as a USB device mounted on the Desktop ....
What happened ???? Does OSX have the ability not to mount it ? Is there a parameter somewhere ti fiddle with to "force mount" on the desktop ?

Found a small APPLE app named "image tranfer" which does exactly what it pretents to be ...... and apparently much faster than within iPhoto (probably because no need to create thumbs, xreferences etc....)

Make sure Readr is closed. Go to the Applications form, look for the Adobe Reader icon, double click on it, and follow the lead. Restart Reader when finished.

Can you find it using the Spotlight search on the iPod? Maybe you just can't find it.
Also try resetting the iPod. Nothing is lost.
Reset iPod touch: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at

Do you have a smaller capacity micro SD card to try? I seem to remember from past posts that users were having problems with cards larger than 32GB, however, Apple's page doesn't mention this.

Since loading Maverick and then, with the assist of Apple Support, I had to reload drivers and updates for my HP scanjet G4050, I now enter image scan to scan photos but nowhere is there a "send" button to get them to iPhoto.

Here are a couple of ideas:
1. (my favorite) - connect the printer to the router with an Ethernet cable for virtually the same functionality, more speed and fewer connectivity issues.
2. Reset by turning the printer off, holding # and 6 keys while and for a few seconds after turning it back on.
