LR cc has disappeared on both my laptop and desktop and reverted back to LR5
i have the photographers special with PS and LR.
any ideas why this has happened
Where do you see that? It's exactly the same software (or at least it will be until Lr6 is released).
However, it happened to me once that Lightroom dropped out of the "installed apps" list in the CC desktop app. Instead it appeared with the other CC apps I hadn't installed. The program itself seemed unaffected by this, it worked as it should.
Since this coincided with a dot update, I just clicked "install", and it went through the normal routine and updated the normal way. Hasn't happened since.

Likely, because you are now using a different Apple ID and iTunes account. Return to using your old Apple ID and authorize only after you have de-authorized your old computer.
You can de-authorize individual computers, but only by using those computers. The only other option is to "de-authorize all" from your iTunes account.
1. Open iTunes on a computer
2. From the Store menu, select "View my Account..."
3. Sign in with your Apple ID and password.
4. Under "Computer Authorizations" select "De-authorize All".
5. Authorize each computer you still have, as you may require.
You may only do this once per year.
After you "de-authorize all" your authorized computers, re-authorize each one as required.
If you have de-authorized all computers and need to do it again, but your year has not elapsed, then contact: Apple - Support - iTunes - Contact Us.

You'll need to switch off iTunes Match on the device & sync the iPod with iTunes as hopefully you've kept all your music on your PC.

My Firefox menu button has disappeared. Why? How can I get it back? Without it I don't know how to get to my FTP. I never did anything to make this happen.
Make sure that you do not run Firefox in full screen mode (press F11 or Fn + F11 to toggle; Mac: command+Shift+F).
Press F10 or tap the Alt key to bring up the "Menu Bar" temporarily if the Menu Bar is hidden. -

There is a way of getting your music back if you have purchased it - go to the itunes store, click "purchased" under the "quick links" on the right hand side of the page, near the top, and then it allows you to re-download anything that you have purchased under that apple id. Phew! Over 200 songs - I'm glad i found this out!

Our company has users on both Acrobat X and XI. We have custom stamps in X that the XI users need to use. How do we transfer the stamps to use in the newer version?
You just copy the stamp files from one machine and place them in the correct directory on the other. You can find the location of both the user and app stamp directories by running the following code in the interactive JavaScript console:
app.getPath("user", "stamps");
app.getPath("app", "stamps");
Select both lines and press Ctrl+Enter (Windows) or cmd+enter (Mac). Here's what I get with this using Acrobat 11 on a Mac:
user folder: /Macintosh HD/Users/georgejohnson/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Acrobat/11.0/Stamps/
app folder: /Macintosh HD/Applications/Adobe Acrobat XI Pro/Adobe Acrobat Pro.app/Contents/Built-in/Comments.acroplugin/Stamps/
The stamp files (PDFs) might have cryptic looking names, but you can safely open each to see what stamps they contain. -
