Lr CC won't open. Tried signing out and back into CC and other suggested solutions.

I use Window 8.1. Downloaded CC trial two weeks ago and installed Lr 5 and Ps. I created the Lr catalog in a location other than that suggested by Lr 5 (a secondary drive). Lr 5 and Ps worked fine and I intended to buy the Photography package. Then I upgraded to Lr CC and uninstalled Lr 5. Lr CC won't open. The Trial screen appears, I click on "Continue Trial," it goes away and Lr doesn't open. I tried signing out and back into CC numerous times, I uninstalled and reinstalled Lr CC and even the CC app, still nothing. I tried deleting the .lrcat.lock file but couldn't find it, so I deleted all the catalog files and folders (it was just a practice run). There seems to be no way to get Lr CC to open.

Please follow the suggestions mentioned here, Lightroom doesn't launch or closes automatically after splash screen.

I had the same thing happen today on my wife's phone. I couldn't find any answers on the support site and of course I could not get any help from Apple since my phone was old. I kept digging and figured out how to fix the problem. I opened the app store app and signed out of the old id and then signed back in using my new id. It looks like this may have fixed the problem.

Mac won't let me Sign Out of iCloud to Change Email

I just changed my Apple ID email and password. On my Macbook (OSX 10.7.5) in System Preferences - iCloud it gives me a password input box with my old email, but won't let me sign out? Any suggestions? Already tried restarting.

Apps are locked to the Apple ID that was used to download them. You will have to sign in as your brother in order to update it.

What is the precise wording of the error message that occurs on the old iPhone when attempting to do a backup?
Are you attempting to backup via iTunes on the computer or iCloud?

I have internet connection, and I can access itunes on my computer. in settings - itunes and app store - I signed out of my apple id and tried to sign in again. my Ipad2 says "cannot connect to itunes store" and the ok button. my ipad just sits after I enter my apple id and password and nothing happens.

There are 9 different versions of iPhoto and they run on seven different versions of the Operating System. The tricks and tips for dealing with issues vary from version to version and OS to OS. So before anyone can help, they need information to work with. Basic stuff:
- What version of iPhoto.
- What version of the Operating System.
- Details. What were you doing when the problem arose?
- Did it ever work properly?
- Are there error messages?
- What steps have you tried already to solve the issue.
Anything else you can think of that might allow someone else to understand your issue.
With this kind of information somebody can develop a starting point for troubleshooting the issue.

Move the com.apple.screencapture.plist file out of /username/Library/Preferences/ to the Desktop, log out and back in, and try again.
BTW, use the default 10 point setting for text. Your choice just wastes screen space.

When you did the restore, did you restore from a backup or restore as new? The final step of user troubleshooting is to restore as a new device, not from a backup. If you restore as a new device and the camera still does not function, it is probably a hardware issue. Make an appointment at the Apple Store Genius Bar and have the device checked by a Genius.

That message means that you have to restore the iOS software because something went wrong. Follow the instructions here. I hope that you have a backup.

That email address is still a valid Apple ID. If you do not remember the passcode, sign onto Manage your Apple ID (Apple - My Apple ID) with that email address, and then click on Reset Password. You will be asked to answer your Security Questions in order to reset the password. If you do not remember the answers to your Security Questions, contact Apple Support to reset them for you:
