LR3 download to 2nd computer/one PC and one Mac
I own LR3, installed on a PC, purchased in Sept of 2010......I now want to add it to my new mac,,,,my lic # is 1160-4008-6720-8996-1393-1592.....what are the steps and procedures?
If you own a single-user product that is installed on a computer, you can also install and use the software on one secondary computer. However, you may not run the software simultaneously on both the primary and secondary computers.

Since I downloaded the latest version 5 to my I-Phone and I-pad the quality of the photo's that I download from my computer is poor and grainty, prior to that it was perfect, I downloaded these via a USB cable and not via Clouds: is there a problem with version 5 or am I doing something wrong ??

Multiple users on computer - one .mac account
ok, I've seen other posts addressing similar issues, but not this specific one:
I have two users on my computer and one .Mac account. I would like each user to be able to edit and post to the same website using iWeb.
I thought that I could move the Domains.sites file to a shared location, but I can find no way of pointing iWeb to that location and then remembering that location later.
any thoughts??This might not be the right way but since I was having similar issues today, this something that worked.
I placed the domain.site file on my time capsule and the Imac which I created the pages with remembered the site.
On my mac mini I can access the site it if I open the domain.site file directly using the finder and it will then open iweb on my mac mini. If I open iweb directly, it seems to remember previous iweb sites that I created but not the current one.

Cloud programs do not use serial numbers... you log in to your paid Cloud account to download & install & activate... you MAY need to log out of the Cloud and restart your computer and log back in to the Cloud for things to work

Songs containing DRM (Digital Rights Management) may not appear, or may appear grayed out in iCloud. This can occur if your computer is not authorized for playback of that content. Try authorizing your computer, then manually update iTunes Match.
To determine what Apple ID your computer needs to be authorized for, locate and select the song in your iTunes library.
Choose File > Get Info.
In the Summary tab, locate the Account Name field in the right column and write it down.
Click OK.
Choose Store > Authorize this Computer.
Type in the account name from the Summary field and its password. Click Authorize.
Choose Store > Update iTunes Match.

I received an update message after my system had installed the newest Firefox 3. something, approximately 4 days ago. (Today is 3/22, so about 3/17--18) The newest update , when started, took me to the Mozilla homepage, where It was suggested I download and comment on the new Firefox 4---I do not normally do this, but am so impressed with Firefox versus most others, that I did, now, I cannot open Firefox at all, the older version, 3. something, is not in my system, only 4, but my system/PC upon trying to open the new Firefox, prompts me over and over to restart the system, (which I have done 3 times) I figured I would then simply remove it, (Firefox 4) and either try it again, or re-install the newest 3. something---I cannot remove it, even using my anti-virus program to do so, it simply prompts over and over to restart, wether I try to open, remove, or access it in any way---I do not wish to use system restore, but that seems my only option, please help!!!
I had the same problem and the solution is quite simple:
- delete all data that has to do with Firefox and Mozilla
- Reinstall the new version Firefox 4
You have to make sure that everything is deleted and well yes you will lose your profile data but at least it works again without any problem. -
Can't install legal download on 2nd computer CS2 Win7
After downloading the files and using the serial # provided by the tech on the chat. I have not been able to successfully install the programs. Only the ILLY program will operate. PhotoShop, InDesign and Bridge all give me a "can't run " error referencing licensing restrictions. (Don't care about Version Cue) I have uninstalled, reinstalled, multiple times and keep getting the same result.
you should be using the serial numbers on the page where you downloaded the installation files.

Automatic downloads only works with one Mac user account, can I get help?
I have three user accounts on my iMac, and I set up iTunes Automatic downloading on my iTunes account on my iMac user account. Then I went to set up my brothers iTunes automatic download on his iMac user account but it said the computer was already in use, and gave me options like transfer or cancel. Just to clarify this was an attempt with one iMac two user accounts and two separate iTunes accounts.
It appears we are all having the same issue, and for themost part talking about the same thing, but to reiterate:
1) One (1) computer, to help distinguish the devices letscall it an iMac
2) Two (2) or more distinct User ID’s on said iMac with fullAdmin permissions
3) Each distinct User ID on the iMac has a distinct Apple IDwith an associated iTunes and iCloud account
4) For every User ID / Apple ID there is a separate personwith their own iDevice
5) None of the iTunes accounts, iDevices or Apple ID’s arecross sync’d
5) (a) Forexample, Person 1 does not share apps, etc. with Person 2’s iTunes account. Weare assuming everyone distinct Apple ID / iDevice buys its own App’s, musicetc.
6) Only one (1) of the iMac User ID’s and that User ID’sassociated iTunes and iCloud account can have auto-download and iCloud servicesactivated at any one time.
6) (a) Just to be redundantly clear,that means that every other User ID / iTunes – iCloud ID/ iDevice CANNOTauto-download or sync to iCloud
Somewhat reformed PC guy here (wife is a life long Macuser), but all I can say is are you (*&^%$%^&* kidding me?
If I wanted these problems, and didn’t care about aestheticsor battery life, I would have stuck with Win-crap / Android for 50% or less ofthe cost.
Besides my preference for the Win-Devil UI (I know, I know…)I cannot believe after spending more than $4,500 on iFleecing this summer I amstill having issues like this (Mac Air, iMac, iPhone 4- two and the buy-out oftwo cell contracts).
Granted, when I plug something in, it works… the way Stevethinks I should want it to function.
In the hopes of avoiding some iFlogging by my fellow usershere, I concede the superiority, in every conceivable way, of all of thehardware and even like the MS Office suite in Mac better (at least not less). Ihave no intention of going back to the Win-Devil (don’t even run an emulator oneither computer), but this is a Windows-like screw-up. -
I have tried quiting Firefox and setting Safari to my default browser. Links open on Safari just fine. When I go back to Firefox as my default, I continue to have the same issue, links will not open in Firefox.
You can also quit and relaunch Firefox and then
the link will open in mac mail. -

iPhoto does not "download" to any place - it does import and the only place it imports to is the iPhoto library so this statement makes no sense at all

And it is really helpful to know what version of iPhoto you have and what version of the OS you have
One possible off the wall guess with no information is that your have your events sorted incorrectly (fix by the view menu ==> sort events) or that your camera dates are incorrect

I have icloud and downloaded new CDs on my 2nd computer. How do I download the new music into my old computers iTunes using icloud.
For your computer first get iTunes to see it by:

- The transfer iTunes purchases
iTunes Store: Transferring purchases from your iOS device or iPod to a computer
- Or redownload them by:
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store
- Transfer other music by using a third-party program like one of those discussed here:

- Connect the iPod to your compute and make a backup by right clicking on the iPod under Devices in iTunes and select Back Up
- Restore the iPod from that backup
Note that the backup that iTunes makes does not included synced media like apps and music.
