I'm sure this is easy.
I purchased LR 4.0 and installed it on a laptop
Laptop is old
Purchased new desktop and installed LR4.1 trial on the new computer and copied my old DB that I from the old laptop.
New LR4.1 is released and installed on new computer over 4.1 trial and everything works on a 31day trial
today I tried to use my LR 4.0 serial number to register and it takes it but asks for the serial number of my prior version license ( don't have one as this was a full purchase)

First off, this is a User to User forum, not tech support. If you entered in your LR 4 serial and it asks for a previous version what you bought was NOT a full version but an upgrade version...where did you buy it? From Adobe? Might wanna check that out...if you paid less than %140.00 for LR4 you bought an upgrade version not full version.

I reset my phone then my Apple ID and password wouldn't work to re set up my phone

Reset my phone then go to set it up again, I type in my Apple ID and password and it doesn't work. I go through the "forgot my id" and "forgot my password" options (even though I know my id and password are right) and they lead no where. I make a new Apple ID and password and that also didn't work.

Taking an infinite time to login to launch Acrobat XI trial - Adobe ID and password are correct ?

Firefox had saved my login name and password for a site, when I changed the password, FF won't ask to save/update it so I have to enter it manually now. How do I get it to prompt me in FF7.01?

The site owner changed the rules in order to improve password security so I was required to create a new password. When I did so I was not prompted by FF7.01 to save the new password.
When I next logged into the site, FF remembered the user name but presented the old (invalid) password. I was forced to manually enter the new password, but again was not prompted to save it to FF.
I then went into FF Security, viewed the saved passwords and deleted the entry for the site in question. I expected that when I logged into that site the next time I would be asked if I wanted to save the username and password. I wasn't.
I then exited from FF and relaunched it and again logged into the site in question. I was not prompted to save the username or password.
How do I force FF to ask for and then save the username and password?

My problem isn't removing my log-in name and password for a site.
The problem is I already had the log-in name and password saved by FF, but I was required by the site to change the password. FF did not recognize that it had changed and refuses to prompt me to save the new password.
After several attempts to force the prompt, I deleted the site from the Saved Password list, hoping that the next time I entered my log-in name and password on that site FF would ask if I wanted to save both. That did not happen even after exiting FF and relaunching it.
So, right now FF will not save my log-in name and password for a site that it used track for me. Given the complexity of the new password, I really do not want to manually enter it every time I use the site.

OSB 11g - Authentication - Username and password in SOAP body

Hi,
I have a PS based on the WSDL provided by the client. According to the WSDL the client will send the username and password (to be used for authentication) in SOAP Body. I have extract the username and password from the body and authenticate it and then only process the data.
The approach I am thinking of is to create two PS. The first PS will be called by client to send the data. There will be no authentication required for this PS. Once this PS (PS-1) receives the message it will extract the username, password and data from the SOAP body. It will then set the username and password in the HTTP header of the second PS (PS-2) and the data in the SOAP body of PS-2.
PS-2 will be under basic authentication. PS-2 will accept the data as the only payload. Upon receiving the data it will do the normal processing.
But I do not see any way to set the HTTP header (Authorization) for the second PS. Is my approach correct? Is there another/better approach?
I went through this link [http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E13159_01/osb/docs10gr3/security/model.html] and found that we may have to configure another Authentication provider. How to do that?

Your approach seems correct to me (using two proxies) but instead of setting the username and password in HTTP header, you may set it as SOAP header and use Custom Authentication method in OSB. To know more about it, please refer -

Username and password with Access and JDBC application

Hello all,
I have written an application which accesses a MS Access database. I have created a dialog which asks the user for a username and password. I then include the username and password to connect to the database. I have created groups and users in the Access database and have given each user different privaleges. However, when I run my application, any user can get any privelage. I am missing something. Thanks in advance.

i am trying to make the access to the network via 2 things : SSID's key first , then using a username and password to connect, or at least username and password.
i have aironet 1130ag , and 40 users.

SSIDs are unique identifiers that identify a WLAN network. Wireless devices use SSIDs to establish and maintain wireless connectivity. SSIDs are case-sensitive and can contain up to 32 alphanumeric characters. Do not use any spaces or special characters in an SSID.
A client can gain access to the network only if the client password matches the AP password.

I changed my Airport Extreme network name and password, now I can't access my Airport Express speakers. Help please.

I changed the network name and password associated with my Airport Extreme and now my system is not recognizing my Airport Express speakers.
Can someone help me get my speakers and sound system back online?

You will need to think in reverse here.
Change the network name and password back to where it was on the AirPort Extreme and get things working that way.
Then, change the name and password on one AirPort Express, then the second. Both Expresses will be blinking amber at this time. Power them off.
Now, change the name and password on the AirPort Extreme.
Power up both Expresses and they will now join the AirPort Extreme network correctly since you have programmed them with the new network name and password.

Safari- Remove Saved Names and Passwords

I am trying to remove saved e-mails under the login for facebook. It used to work when going to Safari, Reset Safari, and then Remove Saved Names and Passwords. Now when I do this the e-mail addresses are still saved and I do not know what to do. Please help if you have an idea of what to do or know what to do!

Now it's seems that you're using the AutoFill function. So, if it isn't clearing the passwords for you for Facebook, open Keychain Access > Passwords and scroll through the list until you find the one(s) you're looking for and delete them.
Then quit Keychain Access and restart Safari and that should fix your problem.

I want to know how to set firefox to remember my yahoo mail id and password. i've changed my password, but firefox only remember the old password. So, i've erased it in the security settings.

If the name stays the same and you only need to change (update) the stored password then fill the name in the login form and let Firefox fill the wrong password.
You may have to press the Tab key to fill the password field.
If you replace the wrong password with the new password then Firefox should offer to store the new password.
Yahoo uses "autocomplete=off" to prevent Firefox from saving passwords, so you need to use the ''Remember Password'' bookmarklet.
You can verify that Firefox has stored the new password: Tools > Options > Security: Passwords: "Saved Passwords" > "Show Passwords"
If that didn't work then remove that name and password and Firefox should offer to save the new password on the next visit or if you refresh the login page.

LR4 to PS and back creates extra file?

I recently updated from LR3 to LR4. My edit in Photoshop preferences are for a psd.
When I "edit in Photoshop" using LR4, Lightroom immediately creates a "filename-edit.psd" file. With LR3, only when I saved from within PS did it create the new file edit.psd file. I like to keep the option open to use "save as" and save just a jpg if I know this is going to be my final edit and not have a psd. Now if I save as a jpg, I end up with an extra .psd file. Is this a change in LR4 or have I not set something that I had set in LR3?

You don't import the project.
I'm going to assume that both the trial version and purchased version were 10.1.
Open FCPX and then Open Library>Other, Navigate to wherever you stored the library (ies) you worked on when you used the trial. Choose that library and your work should be in one or more events in it.
