LR4 "edit in" default

Why does my LR4 "edit in" default to Photoshop 7.0 when I only have Photoshop CS6 installed? How do I reset Photoshop CS6 as my default "edit in" program? Thanks . . .

I think you may be seeing information in the top right of the dialog? This is Lightroom reminding you what version of Adobe Camera Raw - not Photoshop - it is able to work fully compatibly with.
Lightroom 4 works compatibly with ACR version 7. This is the same ACR version that Photoshop CS6 currently uses; there is no compatibility problem betwen these two.
(When you pass a Raw image from LR to PS for editing, ACR is what interprets the current Develop settings onto the source data, and from that, makes a bitmap image. This bitmap image is what appears in Photoshop as your Background layer. If you instead use an older PS version with an older ACR associated with that, other things need to happen to get around this issue.)

Edit the Default CSS file

I want to know if there is a way to edit the default CSS file for Webi. The reason I am asking is because of the way in which hyperlinks are formatted. When I go into the document properties and change the formatting (color only), it does not update on my actual report. Also, I want to be able to remove the underlines from all hyperlinks without having to go in and do it manually using inline CSS.
Is there a default CSS file out there that can be edited? Where is it located and how to I ensure it's used in all my reports? Thanks.

C:\Program Files (x86)\SAP BusinessObjects\SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise XI 4.0\images\WebIDefaultStyleSheet.css and
Note that for the BI 4.0, you would not be able to update the default style after the document creation. If you want to modify default style, you must :
1. update the .css file stored in the images folder of your server installation or rich client and
2. then create a new webi document to see your style modification.

How can I edit the default settings for the Email button?

I saw this question posted for February and as yet still unanswered. So I am now asking it again.
I do not want to use my .mac account email address in my website. I want it linked to my domain. I have found no specific instructions for changing the default. Also my drag down "Link to" menu in the Inspector does not work.

While you can't edit the default email address in iWeb, there is a workaround which may suit.
In Safari, locate a web page which has iWeb's email button on it (if you've already published a site, one of your own web pages is ideal). Control-click on the button and select 'Add Image to iPhoto Library'. Drag this image from the Media Browser to your iWeb page, select the image, and use the Link inspector to enable it as a hyperlink linking to 'An Email Message'. Enter whatever email address you like in the To box and a Subject for the message if you wish.
To make things easier, create an iWeb library in iPhoto and add the email button to it for handy access.

Can I edit the default HTML5 template?

Got a question here. When I start a new HTML document in Dreamweaver CC I end up with the following code:

I've edited the default.html found in Adobe\Adobe Dreamweaver CC 2014.1\configuration\Templates and saved it but whenever I open a new HTML file and select HTML5 I wind up with the original code.
Can this be changed or am I just stuck with saving the desired code somewhere and constantly using that file to start all my new projects with?

Try C:/Program Files/Adobe/Adobe Dreamweaver CC 2014.1/configuration/DocumentTypes/New Documents/default.html for starters. Tip - make a backup of this file before making any changes to it.

We have created a new Planning application, where we have default dimensions (Account, Period, Year, Scenario, Version & Entity) created automatically.
1. Can we edit the default dimension name as per my requirement?
2. If so, will there be any impact if we edit?
Note: Just created Planning application only. Database is not yet created.

How do I edit the default settings in Acrobat Pro XI to always embed fonts?

Do not use the Std job settings, but use the Press or Print settings. You can also edit the properties of the Job Settings (best done in Distiller) to not exclude any fonts and embed all as subset fonts. Be sure to check the option to continue if embedding is not possible or your creation will fail if you used a font that is not licensed for embedding (Acrobat will only embed fonts that are legally licensed for embedding -- most are, but not all).
If you edit the Std, you will need to save to a new name. You might use MyStd or such. Then go to the Start>Printers and edit the properties of the Adobe PDF printer to make that settings file the default. If you use PDF Maker, you will have to change the PDF Maker preferences also (PDF Maker seems to use the last selection, not the default in the printer). Hopefully that is clear enough.

I don't think we can edit the default OVS.The OVS user interface is automatically generated by the Web Dynpro runtime.

"edit with" default program

I have a new i-mac running 10.5 and newly installed CS4 indesign - under my old cs1/old mac when i highlighted a photo and option/clicked on it photoshop would open up and i could tweak the image.... with the new mac - indesign manual says the mac os pics the edit with default - which is illustrator - is there any way to make the mac pic photoshop???

Unable to edit the "Default Domain Controllers Policy" from a Server 2012 machine

I am unable to edit the "Default Domain Controllers Policy" from a Server 2012 machine. The error message i recieve is:
"Failed to open the group policy object. You might not have the appropriate rights. Details: The volume for a file has been externally altered so that the open file is no longer valid."
The domain controllers are running Windows 2012 R2 upgraded from Windows 2008 R2, the domain functional level is Server 2012.
I am able to edit the policy from both a Windows 7 and Server 2008 R2 machine.
The following post is identical however the fix for them does not work for me:

WHY CAN I NOT EDIT THE DEFAULT SEARCH ENGINE USED BY THE ADDRESS BAR (NOT THE SEARCH BAR NEXT TO IT) FROM BING TO GOOGLE?

I am asking this question again, because upon checking the forum for a solution I was shocked and appalled by the severe lack of grammar, punctuation and spelling I encountered while reading answers to this question. Obviously several people where to busy to actually read the question being asked and simply answered with instructions on how to change the default search engine for the search bar. SO, here I am asking the same question, why? because it still has not been answered and I myself still CANNOT find this setting anywhere. I use multiple browsers for different tasks, Chrome is KICKING the .... out of you guys Mozilla, why did you ever let your self get taken in by Micro-crack (Microsoft), if I recall correctly the inception of this program was partly motivated by the need for an alternative to the idiosyncrasies and vulnerability of Microsoft Internet Explore. This really feels like a HUGE step backwards, I would love to see a return to the days when Mozilla Firefox was and inspiration to developers and techs everywhere. And please will someone just answer the right question this time. Trust me when I say it will be obvious who does and does not read this in it's entirety.

You will create a custom theme. Copy all the .xsl files into your theme folder. Modify default.xsl for most of the sub-level pages. Modify group_listing.xsl for /groups and /users pages. Your server index page is located in Library\WebServer\Documents. Most of what you want to do can probably be done through CSS.
Once your custom theme is finished set it as the default in the Admin Panel.

im new to dreamweaver and diving in the deep end obviously. I guess the idea of doing this on my localhost is all about practicing locally before tackling a real world scenario on a production web-server in the near future.
I have just installed
1. WAMP server on my Win 8 localhost
2. Opencart on this server
I would like to edit the existing "Opencart" default website that i have just installed on my WAMP, Things im interested in doing...
1. making changes to the opencart template
2. altering the website structure (eg pages, images etc)
Is dreamweaver able to do this? (i am assuming that i may use a variety of adobe products for the task...eg photoshop etc)
If yes...
how do i go about getting it into dreamweaver (and synchronising dreamweaver with the localhost WAMP "Opencart site")
If no...
what program is best suited for tackling this task?
I have signed up for the adobe cloud so i have access to quite a number of adobe products.

How to make sure newly created row is editable by default programatically

I got a problem with creating new row in single row selection table with on click property enabled for editing mode.
Function requirement is like: I have Mater-Detail. While creating detail lines, line has to be created with default line number. Eg: Master1 can have line numbers 1,2,3..etc, Master2 can have 1,2,3.. etc.

Here the problem is:
When I first come to the page,the first row in the detail table is editable and could able to edit any other row on click . But When I create a new row , I got a new row with line number but it is not editable.
I want it to be editable on create and previously selected row should be read only. I have tried several ways but nothing is working.
My observation is, when I call the bean method in Action Listener of application Table in create patteren, I am facing this problem. If I do not call this method, it is working as expected. But I need to call this method because it has to create row with line number.
I am putting below two scenarios which I have tried. I am not successful in the both the scenarios.
Could you please help me in achieving expected functionality.

I'm completely new to Oracle but I am quite sure that on Oracle 9i, when using the <save xyz.sql> statement, a file was saved somewhere on the hard drive.
I accidentaly managed to convince XE to save .sql files on C:\ but I would like to change that ...
Google refused to offer me a solution so I'm asking you guys for advice.
And no, <save desired_path\filename.sql> is not an option :P, I would like to make the change permanent.

Hi,
If you are using Windows, you can edit your "SQLPlus 80" shortcut.
Changing the "start in" path to, e.g. "c:\sql" will do the trick. SQL+ commands such as "save" and "get" will now use "c:\sql" as default working directory.
