LR4 editing has a delayed reaction
When I use the sliders< the effect doesnt happen instantly. its easy to overshoot my mark. LR3 did not do this. I am using 4.0
( Also I have the very slow problem and cant fix the aberation, but I am waiting for the public issue of the update in cas i make things worse)

I'm running Tiger 10.4.3 on a new G5 Dual 2.7 with 4 GB of RAM. Should be a dream system right? But over the last couple of weeks certain functions in the Finder have slowed to a crawl. Click once on a file icon in the finder and nothing happens for three full minutes. This happens in column view but not in list or icon view, so it seems to be an issue with the system churning on the file info. Same delay when invoking the get info command. A Force Quit reveals that the Finder is not responding. Launching a document opens right away but then there is a delayed "Zooming" of the icon after it has already opened - an annoying delayed reaction. Anyone else having this problem or know what could be interfering with the finder in this way? Spotlight and Find have also ceased to work but that may be a separate problem.
Repairing permissions and the recent OS Upgrade haven't made a difference.
Three-quarters of my hard drive is empty.As a first step, check Resolving Disk, Permission, and Cache Corruption for system troubleshooting procedures (which includes repairing disk permissions as the 2nd of 3) and when doing so, follow all steps/instructions in the order provided.
If this doesn't help or resolve the problems with the Finder, check Finder issues? How to delete its preferences.
In addition and for future reference, check Installing software updates. -
my iphone 5 keeps crashing all the time and has a delay of about 3 seconds when doing anything on it i did a factory restore on it but it didnt fix the problem i went to optus to see if they could help me as my phone is through them but they knew nothing i need help please my phone is only 8 months old
Plug the device into a wall outlet and leave it for about 20 minutes. If it has not powered on at that point try a reset by pressing and holding the home and power buttons for about 15 seconds until the white Apple logo appears.

adobe starter edition has photo numbers by the picture such as DSCO0283.JPG , where can I find that number on the pictures in PHOTOSHOP ELEMENTS 12--reason being that photoshop elements will not convert my catalog to version 12. If i had that number I could manually rebuild my collections into the photoshop elements 12, but all that i see in photoshop elements is dates and i have multiple pictures from the same dates. HELP! error messages--- had to give up trying to convert---I copied all our pictures to our windows 7 laptop and I installed adobe photoshop elements 12 (my bought program)
I wanted to try to convert there first. also I copied our catalog to this computer also. Everything was working fine I could see the collections just as they where on the XP computer.
then I tried to convert on the laptop. I believe the error said something about corrupt file, so I gave up that day. Next day I tried to open ADOBE STARTER EDITION 3.2 and it wanted an unlock code, no such code exists. and my copy of Elements 12 turned into a trial version which has expired. So I am a little hesitant to try to convert on the XP computer and mess up the existing catalog,
unless there is a fool proof way. I have tried manually making collections/ albums on Windows 8.1 and PHOTOSHOP ELEMENTS 12 and coping pictures into the new albums. sloooow!!
I probably have about 4500 pictures and 150 collections/ albums to go. So any suggestions would be appreciated. -
Adobe digital editions has stopped working??
I have been using ADE to read library ebooks, and the 2.0 version has never worked for me- I have always got the error message "Adobe digital editions has stopped working" as soon as I try to open it. I have been using the older version 1.7.2, but now it will no longer let me use this version and forces me to download an upgrade. I have tried 2.0 and 3.0 and both get the same error message. I have tried reinstalling and allowing through my firewall but I still keep getting the message. Does anyone know how I can fix this please??
When you open the ADE 2x/3x, It tries to load the books' details from the "My Digital Editions" folder (in "My documents") for the library view. If any of the book is corrupt, It fails to open correctly.
I am guessing this is the issue.
Can you try the following:
Backup the "My Digital Editions" folder and then remove this folder.
Now open the ADE. Hopefully, It will work.
If it does, you can open the books from the Backed up folder.

How long is this supposed to take? I have some tracks that haven't been "processed" for days now.I had this same problem. It was driving me crazy and I finally figured it out. On my main computer, I keep an actual file for of all my music. None of it lives solely in the cloud. However, on all my other iTunes Match devices, I stream all my music from the cloud (which includes songs I've purchased from iTunes as well as ones I've imported myself). One song in particular was stuck in limbo with the exact message you wrote. This particular song is not available in the iTunes Music Store. I didn't want to delete the file and reimport it because I like keeping all my play count and date added info. My other devices linked to my iTunes Match account knew that the song existed, but it could never actually play this particular song. I'd always get an error message.
Here's the solution: On another computer that's linked to your iTunes Match, delete the song. It will only ask you if you want to delete it from iCloud as the song file doesn't actually live on that computer. If you say yes, on the original computer where the song file lives, you'll now see the song file has a cloud icon with the X in it. From there, you can control-click on the song file and select, Add to iCloud. Then, it will add it to iCloud and will no longer be stuck "processing." -

Oh gosh, I saw the same issue. Because i was messing around with something earlier. I don't know why Apple took off the option of "none" as a payment since not everyone puts in a credit card and people use iTunes gift cards. I think they just made that changed recently. Anyways, Ive just found out about this new issue also, so i don't know what you could do... maybe call apple support?

Sydneybling it does sound like your security software is interfering with the process of installing and utilizing your Adobe Creative applications. I would recommend that you try temporarily disabling your security software and utilizing the directions listed at Install and update apps - https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/install-apps.html to install InDesign CC.

i solved my problem. i refer my iphone 5 to a local distributor. a repairman checked my iphone and i described my problem. he checked my battery. it was fine! then after an hour excavation around hardware solution he told me that the charging kit crashed because of heavy mobility usage!
yes. i did not covered my phone with any cover. the cpu pressure by ios update crashed the kit! now my phone get back after the kit changed and work finally. i restored my phone to ios 8.2 now.

And I am still confused with the silent switch you mentioned, do you mean the
/s in the following command

It doesn’t mean a silent switch but specifies to query subkeys
/s

To silently run the .reg file (with the /s switch) from a login script batch file, use the following syntax:

Ipad won't sync photos from computer although iPhone 5 syncing ok.
