LR5 Develop Module, Tone Curve gone missing.

Hi can anyone suggest how I can get the Tone Curve back. I've done all the usual checks. One day it was there and the next it was gone.
I'm using a MacBook Air.  (no problem with LR5 on my MBP)

Did you ctrl-click section header bar, e.g.

  • Red splotches on photos in LR5 Develop Module

    I get red and blue splotches on photos in LR5 Develop Module. Seems to be mainly in bright areas of photos. Not there in Library module. I noticed this in the Beta as well but thought it would be fixed before release. In LR4.4 everything is fine.

    Turn the clipping indicators off in the Histogram in the develop module.  The are the little triangles in the upper left and right corners of the histogram.

  • Tone Curve adjustments Missing

    The tone curve adjustments are missing in my copy of lightroom 3
    That section of the develop tools resided near the top of the right hand panel.until about 1/2 hour ago. Its now missing
    What has happened?

    The graph and sliders are not displaying, I can find nothing to check

  • LR5 not showing Tone Curve "region" panel and associated sliders.

    Hi,
    The Tone Curve panel in LR5 as currently set up isn't showing the "Region" sub-panel and associated sliders.  It also isn't showing the slider immediately under the tone curve itself.  Any ideas on how to get these features to show?
    Thanks

    Hi Jao,
    Bingo!  That did the trick.  Many thanks.

  • Tone Curve sliders missing?

    I have LR 3.2 and today I noticed that the region sliders in the tone curve panel are gone.
    Has anyone else experienced this?

    Thanks Rich.,
    That did it.

  • Basic develop tab has disappeared in Develop module

    I'm stuck, I can't process any images as the basic tab has suddenly vanished. Anyone had this and how can I get it back?

    If you right-click on any of the other section headers in the develop module (tone curve, etc.) it will present you with a list of all the different sections. Make sure there is a checkmark in the Basic checkbox. It seems that several others have encountered this problem when moving to Lightroom 5. It isn't something I have had trouble with.

  • Lens correction feature completely missing from Develop Module

    The lens correction feature has gone missing from the Development Module.  It was missing before I upgraded to 5.6 and is still missing.  Previously, it was present, so I am wondering if I did anything to hide or remove it?

    Right-click on one of the other section headings, such as Tone Curve, Basic, etc. Make sure there is a checkmark in lens corrections. This is how you control which develop features you want displayed on your system. Sometimes features disappear mysteriously.

  • Lightroom 5 Develop Module Not Responding

    The LR5 develop module will flash not responding after about 5 minutes of use.  I have to shut down LR and restart it to get it to respond, but it gets kind of old having to do it every 5 minutes.  Photoshop CS6 had the same issue with ATI drivers and, as far as I know, that issue has not been resolved.  The workaround was to turn off hardware rendering, but there is no option, that I can find, in LR to do that.  Anyone else experiencing the same issue?  Any temporary solutions other than dropping ATI altogether?

  • Missing Basic and Tone Curve Panel in LR5

    Last night I installed LR5 (last version was LR3) on my iMac with Mavericks OS and everything was working fine, I thought, and I was using the Develop Module when I noticed the Basic Panel and Tone Curve Panel (which I had been using) had gone missing .  As in, poof, they were gone.  So now I have the Histogram, the Crop and other tools and brushes, and then nothing until HSL/Color/B&W and then on down.

    I'm cheating here with another question, but I think it will be quick:  I see LR5 automatically uses the updated interface for Highlights, Shadows, Blacks, Whites and I see they are more precise and subtle.  Can I go to photos adjusted in LR3 that still show the LR3 interface and use the LR5 interface & finer adjustments on the old photos?

  • LR 2.7 bug: Tone Curve is ignored in Develop module during loading

    I have found a problem that occurs after upgrading from 2.6 to 2.7. It probably wasn't existent before, but now I am not sure.
    What happens is this: After making a Tone Curve changes to a series of photograps, I stayed in the Develop module and looked at the next/previous photos and this happens during every change:
    1) current photo is displayed
    2) I click on another photo
    3) The new photo is displayed and "Loading..." message appears
    4) [After about 0.5 sec.] The new photo darkens (more precisely: Same view as without the Tone Curve adjusments)
    5) [After another 1 sec.] The new pohto lightens up again (Tone Curve is applied correctly) and "Loading..." message disappears
    This prevents from comparing brigness of photographs directly in the Develop module In the Library module, this problem doesn't happen.

    Hi Dan,
    OK, so now I'm confused... I have removed the profiles for the monitors (one for each) and now use the manufacturer supplied one and haven't been able to get a crash since yesterday when I did the change. I'm not 100% confident the bug has gone, but it's passed my "it should happen by now" criteria. I'm wondering if the size of the .icc profiles could have an influence. When I calibrate my monitors, I always do a full calibration which stores the data as a full LUT iccview.de lists it as:
    Description Tag:
    Monitor_2_17-03-2011
    ICC-Tag: BToA1 (Colorimetric)
    Calculation: LUT with 35937 grid points
    Header:
    size = 690296 bytes
    CMM = 'APPL'
    Version = 2.4.0
    Device Class = Display
    Color Space = RGB
    Conn. Space = XYZ
    Date, Time = 17 Mar 2011, 15:50:32
    Platform = Microsoft
    Flags = Not Embedded Profile, Use anywhere
    Dev. Mnfctr. = 0x0
    Dev. Model = 0x0
    Dev. Attrbts = Reflective, Glossy
    Rndrng Intnt = Perceptual
    Illuminant = 0, 1, 0 [Lab 100, 0, -0]
    Creator = 'LOGO'
    Total volume of gamut is 885574 cubic colorspace units
    The profile I have moved to and which seems to be working is a much smaller matrix profile. iccview.de says:
    Description Tag:
    DELL U2410 Color Profile,D6500
    ICC-Tag: XYZ Matrix
    Calculation: 3x3 Matrix
    Header:
    size = 6756 bytes
    CMM = 'ADBE'
    Version = 2.0.0
    Device Class = Display
    Color Space = RGB
    Conn. Space = XYZ
    Date, Time = 1 Mar 2010, 14:15:19
    Platform = Microsoft
    Flags = Not Embedded Profile, Use anywhere
    Dev. Mnfctr. = 'DELL'
    Dev. Model = 0x534654
    Dev. Attrbts = Reflective, Glossy
    Rndrng Intnt = Perceptual
    Illuminant = 0, 1, 0 [Lab 100, 0, -0]
    Creator = 'DELL'
    Total volume of gamut is 1401609 cubic colorspace units
    So, assuming I get no more crashes, how do you want to debug this further? Do you want my icc profiles?

  • Quick Develop Module Missing in LR5?

    Hello,
    I am using LR5 and my Quick Develop Module is missing. My photos are online and so this is not the problem. I rebooted but still no Quick Develop Module. I can use the other modules. Please help?

    Quick Develop is in the Library Module, not the Develop Module (where it has always been).
    If you don't see it in the Library Module, then you need to right-click on any right-panel header (like Keyword List) and select Quick Develop

  • Just updated to LR5.4 on my mac and the Detail Panel in the Develop module is missing. How to fix?

    How do you fix the missing Detail panel in the Develop module? I just updated on the Mac to LR 5.4.

    Right-click on any RH panel header in Develop and put a check mark next to the Detail panel

  • Question:  LR5, suddenly the first part of the menu of development module is missing. (Basics)

    I have contacted Adobe support, they proposed to delete the preferences, but did not work, then to have a new user and try it from there. With the new user I got the complete menu, but have no access to my catalog and photo database.
    Has anyone an idea how to solve the problem. ??????

    Go back to your version of LR without the "Basic" menu.
    Right click (or Cmd Click) on one of the other headings in the Develop Side bar (eg: "Tone Curve").  Then re-select the "Basic" box from the pop-up menu that appears.
