LRG Complete - New complete website template for Lightroom!

Hey guys, we have released a new template at lightroomgalleries.com that allows you to create a complete website right out of LR! Unlimited custom pages, contact form, categorized galleries, full paypal shopping cart (google checkout coming soon) and much more. Hope you find it usefull!

HA HA- "throw a bit more light," Tom? Nice one!
I've used this website a few times now, and have pretty much had good luck with it. I appreciate that the layout is no-fuss and, aside from those Google Adwords that follow me everywhere (no I don't need a business loan, thanks so much), there really are no advertisements to speak of. I'll use it again.

I prefer not to make recommendations because performance is something that simply cannot be predicted. For instance, I am using an off-the-shelf HP computer, 8 GB RAM, integrated graphics (no special graphics card), i5 processor. Performance is perfectly satisfactory for me. But you have to remember that I'm only working with 12 MP raw images. I'm working on some scanned images as well that benefit from the shake reduction filter in Photoshop CC. That filter takes quite a while to render on my machine, and I'm thinking of increasing my RAM. But other than that, Lightroom performance is very nice. So I wouldn't want to make any suggestions. It's simply the luck of the draw, I'm afraid.

  • Where can a find a complete feature list for Lightroom?

I tried the Adobe website and lightroom links. Found some very nice, -but slow to display- graphics, ads for the mobile version, how-to tutorials (the first one was 32 minutes long!), but did not see any feature list, or even a good description of what it does. I did not even see any screen shots. I want to narrow my software choices before I start downloading and trying each one.
A bit of the missing information:
Does it provide for editing IPTC data? If yes, must it be one photo at a time, or can I apply a IPTC data to hundreds of photos at once -for example, the event, date, photographer and keywords.
Does it have dodge and burn tools? I'm not looking for full blown photoshop, but this is very useful when blown background highlights occur near the edge of my crop, or bright background objects distract from the subject.
Does it provide for printing contact sheets with selected IPTC data fields printed under the photos?
Does it provide for uploading photos to Zenfolio? If yes, does it provide for creating new galleries in Zenfolio as part of the upload?
Does it perform exposure (OK -brightness, but it seems like exposure), contrast, and white balance adjustments to multiple files in a batch process -the user able to select the files by thumbnails.
Does it support multiple monitors so tools can be on one monitor, and the photo(s) on the other?
Does it provide side by side comparison of photos?
Does it provide a spot meter for measuring the brightness of a specific area of a photo as compared to neutral grey? (Or classic zones.) This would be very helpful when working onsite with a notebook computer -screen calibration isn't much help when always working in different ambient light.
Does it support multiple processor cores so that more cores equals faster processing?
I shoot sports in RAW format. I use up to three programs in post processing: Photo Mechanic, Canon RAW software, and Corel Photo. It would speed my work flow if I could use one program. Lightroom seems to be a combination of Photo Mechanic and Canon RAW software, with some select Photoshop features that may cover what I do with Corel.
I primarily use Photo Mechanic for post processing: Selecting shots from thumbnails, entering IPTC data, down sampling, cropping, moving, copying, deleting, sharpening, naming, uploading, and printing contact sheets with captions. It converts Canon RAW files to jpeg more than 10x faster than Canon software, with better options for down sampling, but any edits to RAW files in the Canon software have to be (painfully slowly) saved out to a jpeg file because Photo Mechanic can't see the RAW edits.
I use the Canon RAW software for brightness, contrast, white balance, and saturation -but only as the exception. Most of the time I can submit photos as shot -except for the Photo Mechanic work.
I use Corel software for dodge and burn, healing brush, and clone tools. Corel has the same features I use in the Canon software -but those features don't work as well in Corel as in Canon software, so it is no substitute for the Canon software. For example, often brightness won't bring out shadow details -it just turns black to grey, where the Canon software, for the same photo, can bring out the details in the shadows when I adjust brightness. The Canon software has more meaningful adjustments -I can brighten in "stops" instead of arbitrary scales of 0 to 100.
Sorry for the long post. I am used to seeing detailed feature lists and screenshots on software boxes. Surprised the Adobe site doesn't have that. If it does, please post the link.
    thanks

This should help. Here is a link to the Lightoom user manual:

  • How I can create a new page layout template for EP 7.0

Where I can found tutorial or description.
I have already provided the par-file for new page layout but I do not know like I should integrate in the enterprise portal 7.0.
    Greeting Daniela

when you already provided the par file then
    go to content admin->portla content
go to your folder in pcd content and right click and navigate to new-> layout. There you can find your deployed  new page layout par file.
Create a page layout based on the par file and in the properties make it as template.
Later when you try to create a page then you will get the new layout as one of the option.
Also check the below pdf links for step by step procedure

  • New Web Template: Slimbox for Lightroom!

I've produced a new gallery template for Lightroom's Web module using Slimbox, a very nice Lightbox clone.
    Check it out:

    Matt

    G'day folks,
Nice to see such lively conversation! Thanks to everyone for providing such good answers to the questions posed about my template before I was able to get on here to answer them. ;)
I've updated the template to version 1.1. Changes:
    - Added a Watermark checkbox.
    - Modified the tables around the thumbnails to produce smaller gallery pages and slightly faster loadtimes.
    - Gallery now looks for images in content/bin rather than just in bin.
I also reordered the CSS a bit. KBPhoto's changes will still work, but the CSS has been moved within the file, and I deleted a few of the labels in the CSS. Had I read these postings prior to updating the code, I'd have left them in. Sorry! Anyway, shouldn't be too difficult to figure out if anyone still wants to make the modification.
Hopefully my changes will help to remedy the "somewhat strange" rendering, but maybe not.
Not sure about rolling KBPhoto's modification into an official update of the template, as I tend to favor more reliance on CSS, but if it's a major issue for users, I'll consider it.
I also removed the 4x4 corner PNGs from the thumbnail slides. The difference is hardly noticeable, but if anyone misses them, let me know and I'll put them back in.
The latest version is available from the usual page:

  • Recreating the light sensor from the complete sensor template

Hi, new to this board and a total newbie to LabView. Tried recreating the light sensor from the complete sensor template for use with similar functioning homebrew sensor. Turned out to be quite difficult. Anybody around here thats already done that or some similar sensor block that you could share as a template to examine and modify? If the original light sensor block would not be locked I would have started from that.
I also wonder if ther is any way to get digital line on pin 6 to behave as digital line on pin 5 does with the "generate light" function (would be great for making a color sensor with to different colored LED:s as illuminationMessage Edited by PTP on 05-10-2007 03:11 PM

More or less trying to do a copy of the original light sensor block included with the Mindstorms software by starting out with the complete sensor template in the LabView Tooolkit (I have the student version 7.1) Planning on adopting it for my own analog sensor application later on (using the light out on pin 5 for another on/off application). Can´t remiport the version in the Mindstorms software so I have to start out from the template. My application of cause works with the Mindstorms light sensor block too byt it would be cool to make it from complete sensor template with the toolkit using my own scaling algoritms etc
Michel Gaspari has a version made from the simple sensor template here:
    http://www.extremenxt.com/cdssensor.html
But I would like to get the terminals for scaling and logic termial with a cut of value into the block too

  • PLEASE HELP - Flash Website template

    Hello
I purchased a pretty cool flash website template for our film company and I have edited almost all of the website but I cannot figure out how to get my movie files to appear and play on my Portfolio page.
Pleeeeeease help me. I am willing to send you the website files or you can go to www.discopoetfilms.com .
I just want to figure this out. I am very new at flash so I really need detailed information or step by step.

    Hi,
I think most of Flash template use XML file to load media. Look in the folder you purchase if there is an .xml file. If there is one, open it (with Dreamweaver or any other text editing software), inspect the nodes structure and you'll be able to understand how it's built.
    Hope this help !

  • How to edit a purchased template in Lightroom 4

    Hi there!
I purchased a template for Lightroom 4 but can't figure out how to swap out the photos and edit the text. I purchased the text...just need to know how to "import" into LR..  Can this even be done in LR? The person I purchased from said LR does support pdf files. She sent me a tutorial...but it was for photoshop and was talking about "layers" and such...   Any help would be appreciated...I'm lost!!

  • How can I replace the Portal with completely new Flash website?

Can I replace the Portal with completely new Flash website? My customer do not want the JSP UI. Instead, he wants a completely new designed Flash site. Is it possible to do it? How can I deploy a new portal to cover the current one?

If you have a look at some of the code examples which do the equivalent of site maps, you could in theory replace the whole portal desktop with some sort of Flash framework which reads the user's role structure at run time.
I think it is useful to remember that the SAP portal is primarily a business application launchpad. It does that very well. Trying to make it into a Flash launchpad will be challenging.

We can not club complete cc for teams & cc for single app.
A complete plan includes all Creative Cloud apps and services. A single app plan includes access to one app (Photoshop
