LSMW for PP01 infotype 1050 -Job Evaluation results

While doing the recording for IT1050 using LSMW, in the Process recording field the field for Job evaluation results doesn't get picked up.
When the recording is done, in the maintain Object Attributes step of LSMW, I select the Object type as S , enter an object ID and then select the Job evaluation result infotype and then click on create. I enter the values in the respective fields and then save it. Now I am in the Process Recording screen and I enter the field details. There in the INS screen the Markfield value for the Job evaluation result infotype is not getting picked properly.
Can u plz help as to what settings need to be done for correctly inserting the infotype fields with the values provided?

Infotype 1050 - Job Evaluation

Question: Anyone know of infotype 1050 is being used by or could be used by the BSP page of Job Pricing in ECC 5.0?
I went through the entire process from creating survey provider -> job matching -> aging -> composite result -> salary adjustment and don't see it write to this infotype.
Was curious to know if that is part of the old functionality which is left there or it could be used by the job pricing functionality.

LSMW for PP01 Tcode

Hi all,
I have a requirement in which I need to use LSMW for Tcode PP01 to update some fields of a custom OM Infotype.
My question is : Is it okay to use LSMW for PP01 tcode or whether I should go for BDC ?
Are their any constraints in using LSMW for PP01 Tcode ?

you can use LSMW method, because its have screen level validation , if you can go for BDC you need to write logic for validation....

Job Evaluation Results (Points) in IT1050

Hello Experts,
I am looking to know the best practice to hold Job Evaluation Results in IT1050. Do you do it by Job Level or by Position Level.
Could anyone with experience in this respond and perhaps also let me know why.

Thanks for your response.
I was not able to correctly get the data i asked for (the Internal values picked from the system). The path you specified gives the data related to that particular position which is not matching the value diaplyed in portal.
One more issue i am facing is that while we do the Composite Result by Job in Portal, after Build composite comparison is done.
When in the comparison parameters, Employee is selected in the 'compare with' field, the internal value remains zero.
I am stuck with this. Please guide...

LSMW for PP01

Hi gurus.
We are trying to input some data for HRP1001, linking P with S.The HCM consultant prepared a LSMW mapping PP01 but we start it, it appears this ,msg on screen:
Field PPHDX-RECORD_NR (not allowed entries).
And the positions (S) are not updated.

Remove this field from recording. This field is not shown while linking Person to a Position.

I was reading the Pdf from SAP but couldn't really understand what is job evaluation. I was wondering where we use it, how the jobs are evaluated, how do they come up with evaluation points. Please explain with some example. Also how job evaluation different from Salary survey results.
This is what I found from SDN PDF. Job evaluation results are used to determine the relative worth of each job and position in your organization.
This infotype is divided into subtypes. Use the subtypes to represent different job evaluation
systems. This allows you to store different sets of job evaluation results.
Subtype EV01 = Hay System
Subtype EV02 = In-house job evaluation system
Subtype EV03 = John Smith consultants

Job evaluation is the criteria to have a market rate for each of the job which is achieved via surveys by external consultants.
Job evaluation results to determine the relative worth of each job and position in your organization.
Example.. across the organization Jobs are defined like SAP HR
Rate for that job in different organization is say
org x 1000
org y 1200
org z 950
now we can store the results of surveys and can have a benchmark for job SAP HR as 1100

Try searching BDC for table control.
Lot of things are available you need to include that .
For Appraisal.
Check using below FM and try to develop a legacy data upload prog
RHPA_APPRAISAL_DELETE - To delete the appraisal
RHPA_APPRAISAL_ACTIVATE - To activate appraisal before modification
RHPA_APPRAISAL_READ - To change rating and status for an employee
RHPA_APPRAISAL_1045_MODIFY - To modify rating and change date for appraisal
RHPA_APPRAISAL_HISTORICIZE - To change status of appraisal to completed
Performing all actions in order should help to load appraisals.

hi frenz... i am doing LSMW for 195(garnishment order). while recording it is not allowing me to enter in to 195 unless i enter in 194. i dont want to do for 194.. i want to do directly for 195. plzz help me.

Creating a Garnishment Order (Infotype 0195)
Prerequisites
You must create a Garnishment Document (Infotype 0194) immediately before you create the garnishment order. Upon saving the new garnishment document, the Garnishment Order fast-entry screen appears. You must make entries here before the record can be saved.
Procedure
On the Create Garnishment Order screen, specify the desired rule in the RI (Rule Indicator) field.
Enter either the Initial balance or the Deduction.
Usually, initial balances are required in Creditor, Federal Tax, and State Tax cases and deductions are mandatory in Child Support and Alimony cases. However, your company can customize the tables to change this.
Enter any additional limits if applicable.
If you use a rule, limits are not necessary, but still possible. If you do not choose a rule, you must set limits.
If necessary, choose Supplements to access another entry screen and add any additional information.
If the case is a Federal Tax or State Tax levy, you are required to enter supplemental information.
Save your entries.
Result
The garnishment order record is created.

Compensation Management - Job Evaluation subtypes

We have deleted all standard subtypes (EV01, EV02, EV03) subtypes against the IT Job evaluation and added new ones as per the client requirement, but when we are creating that infotype against the object Job along with the Customized subtypes we get a dropdown which has an entry 'EV01' without any description. We do not want these entries.. Can someone help me to resolve this issue..

Recording is going smooth, but records which are taken from flat file
are not getting updated.

IP 30 is it self a Back ground job for Scheduling the Maintenance Plan.Use SM35 Create the Batch job by mantaining the Variant Name,ABap Programme-RISTRA20,Language--EN.Then maintain the Batch Job start date and Time.system automaticaly perform schduling.No NEED FOR LSMW RECORDING for this.
If you want LSMW any how for Schduling of Maintenace Plan Then Create The LSMW Object for Transction Code--IP10 it will work

Creation of lsmw for updation of position and pers area

Hi friends,
I am tried many time to update position and personnel area through lsmw for all employees ,at time of recording its coming.But once compltion of lsmw preparation i am uploaded my inputs through tabfile that time its updating only personnel number and infotype and its asking the save the action screen (At the same time its showing one popup below screen like there is no recording for mp000000).Can you tell any one there whats the problem.At the same time is it possible to upload the position and personnel area through lsmw.

Are you performing a hiring actions, if you are performing a hiring action, when you start with LSMW, the recording should be correct with hire date or start date, personnel number, reason for hire, position number, personal area, employee group and subgroup.
The source field you specific should contain the required field name, type, length and field discription. The field mapping should be done perfectly and assign the specified file in txt format and try to upload.

Hi,
The time clusters are found using reports RPCLST*(B2, B1, PC etc) via SE38. You can find the time clusters under the time menu in the menu tree.
PCL1 - Database for HR work area
PCL2 - Accounting Results (time, travel expense and payroll);
The database table PCL2 contains the following data areas:
B2 time accounting results
CD cluster directory of the CD manager
PS generated schemas
PT texts for generated schemas
RX payroll accounting results/international
Rn payroll accounting results/country-specific ( n = HR country indicator )
ZL personal work schedule
Tto retrieve payroll results accesse SAP transaction PC_PAYRESULT for all countries.
Finally u can get the results for time PT_CLSTB2 , for Payroll PC_PAYRESULT. With this t.codes u can get the require results for ur custom report.

LSMW - PA40 - Skip Infotype

Hi,
I intend to make use of LSMW for a specific Action type, which has the Following Infotypes in this order,
0000
0001
0105-Subtype 0001 (System UserID)
0105-Subtype 0020 (Email)
0041
Though i would supply data for all infotypes in the excel sheet, for few employees, I do not have data in 0105-Subtype 0020 (Email).
I still want to include all the employees in this LSMW with the option that -
If data is available in a Subtype, then Save it....else, skip that Infotype (I do not want to Skip the Record, or skip the transaction)..
Tried to write an ABAP Code to read the BDC_OKCODE and try to save or skip as per the requirement... But seems i am missing something...

It doesn't matter which recording you do first.
In your "field mappings and conversion rules" section there will be 2 entries, one will be the /ENXT recording and the other with the normal SAVE.
For the recording with /ENXT, you need to insert code that looks something like this:
IF P0105-SUBTYPE = 0010
and P0105-USRID_LONG is INITIAL.
ELSE.
SKIP_RECORD.
ENDIF.
For the other recording you will have the opposite ie:
IF P0105-SUBTYPE = 0010
and P0105-USRID_LONG is INITIAL.
SKIP_RECORD.
ELSE.
ENDIF.
You mappings for both recordings can be identical it makes no difference because when the email is empty it will in any case process the /ENXT recording and skip the screen.
You may have to check for other things in the code but I am not sure of your exact situation. For example you might need to check rather that SUBTYPE 0010 actually exists, instead of checking the USRID_LONG field as I have done above.
