LSMW Idoc error in start idoc processcing as No data could be selected

Hi Abapers
am uploading the data Using the LSMW-IDOC Method.
it is executing successfully Up to the 13th Step I.e start idoc generation.
when i execute the 14th Step Start Idoc Processing.
am getting the Popup information Error like...
Error: No data could be slelected .
Can any one help me on this issue

Im working on datamigration for Business partner using Lsmw idoc method and getting Idoc status 53 with message crmxif_partner_save function module generated successfully with BP number but some of the entries of the fields is not getting inserted into master table BUT000,can any one put a tip of light what exactly is going wrong as i have taken all necesscary steps if any one can share their views like how to trace the posting program for inbound idoc crmxif_partner_save_m02 and where exactly the data is getting inserted into database table BUT000.
Will appreciate all your help.

IDOC-XI-Idoc error in inbound idoc

Hi all.
   We have a Idoc-xi-idoc scenario.
   SAP R/3 - Xi - SAP CRM
   We have configure the idoc out in SAP R/3. And I use we19 to test the Orders Idoc and check the staus is ok.
   But in XI, I cannot see the Orders Idoc is sending in. However, this time I havenot configure any repository and directory.
   My question is , if I havenot configure XI repository and directory, how can I check the Idoc in error messages ? How can I know that the SAP R/3 idoc is sending to XI correctly ?

plz check SM58 at R/3. Assumedly the IDoc was refused by XI - because of missing Configuration in IB Directory.

IDOC error - Receiver of IDoc is its own logical system

hi,
i have a requiremnt to generate the IDOC for the same and same client. actually i have to get the data from application server and i have to generate the IDOC.
for this i have created a Zreport and passed the data from application server to segment and i called the
FM "MASTER_IDOC_DISTRIBUTE". after executing the Zreport, IDOC is generated and show the error
status as 29.i.e. Receiver of IDoc is its own logical system.
my logic is as follows.
MOVE 'LS' TO w_edidc-rcvprt.
MOVE 'SBECLNT130' TO w_edidc-rcvprn.
MOVE 'ISU_MR_UPLOAD' TO w_edidc-mestyp.
MOVE 'ISU_MR_UPLOAD01' TO w_edidc-idoctp.
pls let me know the solution for this problem.

Idocs error: Non-updated Idocs found in Business Inormation Warehouse

Hi
I have found this error for delta load.
"Non-updated Idocs found in Business Information Warehouse"
I know that if the non-updated idocs found in source system, we can use
BD87 to manual update.
But it is with in the BI.
Can someone please help with steps involved.

I will suggest you to set the delta load request to red and then reset the delta flag. Reload the last repested delta will include all missing idocs. That way it is much cleaner.

IDOC error in production server

Hi everyone,
I'm getting this error, when users trigger an Idoc:
Error while writing IDoc to file
Message no. EA084
Diagnosis
The IDoc was to be written to file
cocca3301\interface\output_idocs\1120549.txt
That was not possible because no authorization for writing to this file.
Procedure
Please inform your system administration.
Anyone has seen this before? in development and quality servers didn't happen this...

Not at all, I was talking with basis administrators about this problem for a long time. I'm pretty sure that it's all about folder permission. I think it's a matter of system, not SAP. But they said that's not the problem... I'm not 100% confident with that answer.
But, in order to keep idocs running, i found program RBDAGAIN, that reprocess the failed idocs. I put it into a job every 30 minutes. That solves my problem "temporary", until i solve the real problem.
I advice you to talk with your system administrator and/or basis, and check the group permission for the folder you are trying to put your files. If it works, please let me know.

Error when starting work item

Hi
We are having SRM5.0.
Trying to create Contract. Workflow Without approval of contract(WS1400086)is activated and start conditions also no workflow activated.
Contract is created and getting message Contract created.
But when tried to release the contract it shows "Awaiting approval".
In Workflow log (SWI1)it shows error."Error when starting work item xxxx".
What could be the reason. Please let me know the solution if anyone of you come across such error.

It is maintained as General task already.
It seems the workflow task WS14000085 does not have definition.
When checked in SWDD for the above teask there are no steps defined for that workflow.
SAP says that we need to define and action for workflow WS14000085.
But what is the procedure to define the workflow.
I presume this is the standard workflow and it should be defined by default when it comes along with the SRM package.
Anyone of you know how to define the workflow and activate the same?

I already have set port and partner function.
As per the details of the error message, it says "
System Response
Clarify if the inbound file is a Unicode file.
Procedure
If it is not a Unicode file, change the port definition and then start inbound processing again.
If it is a Unicode file, then the file must be generated with the 'EDI_DC40_U' indicator. This must be clarified with the creator of the file.
I have added the check Unicode fomat while defining the port.

LSMW-IDOC error while tranferring data from ECC to CRM

please check the source system job status. If its successfully completed then we can expect data load sucess in BW side.
to check source system status: RSMO> select related load>in Menu Environment-->Job overview in source system.
once this over check the TRFC or IDocs struck
if TRFC, chk in TCode-SM58 or from environment select TRFC from source/data warhouse.
if you are finding TRFcs are in stuck just select and run manually to complete.

Error in Sending IDoc to XI

Hi Gurus,
We are not being able to send Idocs from one of our Back-end SAP system. The Idoc status in we05 is successful but it doesn't reach XI. So we checked in SM58 in the Back-end R/3 system and there it shows the error:
No Service For System SAP*** , Client *** in Integration Directory
We tried almost every possible setup
-The System is defined in SLD and has the logical system name.
-The Adapter Specific Identifiers are correct for the corresponding business system in ID
-The RFC destination in R/3 system is defined.
- Read through other similar threads in SDN about the similar problem.
Do anyone have a more definite solution for this particular problem? The other R/3 systems are connected to XI system and all IDocs from those systems are arriving at XI.

We had eventually found the solution to this problem we were facing in sending IDoc, though I couldn't manage to update the thread with the solution. I think this would be a very helpful information for those who face similar problems.
Let me describe the scenario first briefly,
We are sending an IDoc (Idoc extension), from SAP system to XI and then send the XML payload as mail attachment to the receiver via receiver mail adapter. Since this is a cross company transaction, hence we have configured the scenario as a B2B in ID, which means we use Parties for both the sender and receiver.
Now in the ID we had done all necessary configurations and used parties and services under Party. For the sender SAP system we assigned a Business System to Sender Partner, configured the Party Alternative Identifiers correctly. The ports were created in IDX1.
On the other hand the SAP system was also configured successfully - including Partner Profile, Distribution List, RFC destinations and ports.
In SLD we created Business System for the SAP system and in ID the Business System under party had the correct logical system name as Adapter Specific Identifiers.
But after all these, the IDoc was not arriving at XI, though in R/3 the status of the IDoc was 03 in we02. When we checked in sm58 in R/3, it showed us the error message that "No Service For System SAP*** , Client *** in Integration Directory".
The cause to this problem was:
We created (assigned from SLD) Business System only under Party (Sender), as this was a B2B scenario, and didn't create (assign) a Business System without Party, as we didn't need one at all in the scenario configuration. And this the reason behind this error. When an Idoc arrives at XI, before the Inbound IDoc adapter converts the IDoc to IDoc XML using IDoc metadata............it checks in Configuarion to see if any Service without Party (Busniess System) is defined for the Sender SAP System and Client (The SNDPOR and MANDT field values from IDoc Control header are taken as the SAP SID and Client). If it finds one it accepts the IDoc and starts the Normalization (Sender Party, Service......in the message header) and IDoc to XML conversion. If it cannot find an Service without Party in ID for sender system, it rejects the Idoc with the error message that we saw in sm58 in backend R/3 system.
In this step the Service under Party doesn't help, because at this point the Inbound IDoc adapter can not deterimine the sender party.
Hence for sending an IDoc from an SAP system to XI, we need to have an Service Without Party in ID, whether or not we require it in our actual Scenario Configuration, which is ofcourse not a case for the Reverse Scenario, ie Sending an IDoc into SAP system from XI.
This is the similar with BC adapter as well. I was already aware about this behaviour of BC adapter from my past experience and this actually helped to troubleshoot this IDoc adapter problem.
This was ofcourse a useful and new learning for me and hope would be helpful to others as well. Let me know if anyone has any doubts on this.

Inbound idoc error message

Hello support team,
I am developing a report in which i have to give a select option "date" when i entered the date in this select-option then after executing , the corresponding idoc type, idoc date, idoc number , idoc receiving site and idoc message that appers in Wper is shown.
all the field are from EDIDC, EDID4, EDIDS tables except idoc message.
Please suggest me from which table i found the message field .
EX:

idoc type WPUWBW
idoc date: 07.04.2010
Idoc message: "Delivery completed" indicator cannot be set for item 00018 .

TS30000020 - IDOC error message

Hi All,
In our production system, we had some workflows got stuck up with SWF_RUN 609 error message. So i tried using SWPC
transcation to resume those workflows. I worked fine. But some did not show up in SWPC and so i used SAP_WAPI_ADM_WORKFLOW_RESUME Fm to resume, it also didnt work. So i searched through sdn and some other sites and found out the standard report "RSWWERRE - Report for restarting workitems with temporary errors", and tried that. My workflows got resumed. But over 2500 new workflow with TS30000020 and description "EDI: Incorrect status for inbound IDoc" got triggered without any agents and it went all users. Iam not aware of IDOC. Can anyone suggest why this has happened and how should i overcome this?

Hello,
RSWWERRE is normally scheduled to run periodically (usually every 20 mins) to handle temporary errors.
I'm not sure about how these IDOC workflows got started. If they're not necessary then you can logically delete them.
If you look in the IDOC workflows, when does it sya they started? Recently?

I am using idoc type CREMAS05 for vendor creation , Now i want to update (Change) the vendor using the idoc.
1. will the IDOC type CREMAS05 work for vendor change (XK02) also?
2. when i am executing the LSMW with the IDOC type CREMAS05, it is throughing an error Message no. WY181 "Account group in the IDoc is different " "
Diagnosis
A change to the account group of a vendor master record cannot be made automatically.
The vendor with number 2000000148 currently has account group Z001. However, the IDoc contains account group .
Procedure
Change the account group manually to and then try to edit the IDoc

Missing IDoc and recurring IDoc errors

Hi,
I would like to ask for a help or any ideas on below case.
We encountered almost everyday a number of generated IDoc errors and the number increases everyday. All of these IDocs has Status "51" (application document not posted) and description "EDI: IDoc 63120 does not exist, please check data".
This IDoc errors does not happen before. It only started when the IDoc 63120 was missing and we can't find it already. We don't know why this is missing and we really need to get rid of these recurring IDoc errors whcih increases almost everyday.
Your response will be helpful in solving my problem.

IDoc Error Processing workflow

Invoices are posted from SRM to ECC as IDocs whose message type is BBPIV. When there is an error in the IDoc input such as invalid IO and GL, invalid company code etc., these IDocs will be moved to status 51.
When IDoc is moved to status 51, work item need to be sent to approvers saying this IDoc has an error and need to be corrected. For this a workflow task needs to be developed.
In our system, there are two types of IDoc invoices sent to ECC. One is of type INVOIC01 and another is of type BBPIV01. There already exists a standard task TS00008057 which is activated for the event INPUTERROROCCURREDMM for IDOCINVOIC object type.
I shouldn't use the same event (INPUTERROROCCURREDMM) and IDoc object type(IDOCINVOIC) for BBPIV01, because responsible agents for both type of invoices are different in our company.
Please help us in getting this resolved. Also let me know if my approach is wrong towards this problem.

Hi Rajesh,
Using the same BOR object and event for two different idoc types is not necessarily wrong. There are ways to differentiate the responsible agents based on the idoc type if needed.
Here is how I would solve this:
Prerequisite: you need to make sure that event IDOCINVOIC.INPUTERROROCCURREDMM is triggered when your BBPIV01 iDoc is in error. To check that, you can activate the event trace and test your idoc (activate with tx SWELS, display with tx SWEL).
If the event does not trigger then you need to find out which event is getting triggered (using the event trace as well).
Now the serious business:
1. Create a copy of standard task TS00008057 that will be used for when BBPIV01 iDocs are in error.
2. Link this task to your event IDOCINVOIC.INPUTERROROCCURREDMM in transaction SWETYPV
3. Check in SWO1 if you have an attribute that gives the idoc type (or anything else which you can use to determine wich workflow should start in each case).
If not you need to create a subtype of IDOCINVOIC and in the subtype create an attribute that returns the iDoc type. Then you would need to delegate IDOCINVOIC to your subtype.
4. Create start conditions (tx SWB_COND) in which you check that TS00008057 starts only when idoctype is INVOIC01 and your new task starts only when idoc type is BBPIV01.
