LSMW & Internal Table

All,
I  using LSMW  (RMDATIND) to load material masters. IM using GUI upload to read the data into an internal table. The data reads in fine. Prioblem I have is when i map the internal table to the fields within each of the segments i only get the first record. Im using 3 segments in the materia load,
the structure is as follows:
BMM00  Mat1 
  BMMH1  UOM1
    BMMH7   TEXT 1
I''m not sure where i should put the loop or how to force it to the next record

IM using GUI upload to read the data into an internal table
this does not really  sound like you are using LSMW, as this step is not necessary at all as it is included in LSMW step 9 Read data.
Prioblem I have is when i map the internal table to the fields within each of the segments i only get the first record.
Mapping of fields is done in step 5.  you first describe your internal table structure in step 2 and 3.
then you assign the structure to the target structure in step 4
and map field of internal structure to target structure in step 5.
Please describe your structure from step 2 and your mapping in step 4.

  • Read two files and store it to Global Internal table in LSMW

    Hi
    I have a requirement in LSMW, there are two files which needs to read the data and upload into SAP based on 2nd file data with some conditions.
    Example :
    File One : Customer Details.
    File Two : Customer Master.
    when we upload the customer master data into SAP we have to cross check customer aganist file two(customer master).
    If the customer is does not exist in the file two, then only we have create the customer other wise skip the record.
    How to go about this, can we create any global internal table in LSMW and how to store the 2nd file data for cross check.
    I tryed with define two source structures, but at any point of time 1st file data is only one record is available.
    Please suggest some solutions.

    Hi Jürgen L.
    If customer is exist in the both files, then we need to extend him to other company codes.
    Some reasons the data is not available in SAP, for writing select query. apart from this we have to do some validation based on 2nd file data.
    Is there any possibility for global internal tables

  • Problem to upload the data into internal table record length more than 6000

    Hi all
            I stuck with this problem from past 3 days. I have to upload the data from excel sheet. iam making it tab delimited and trying to upload from gui_upload. but in the structure of file, we have, one field of 4000 characters, and other fields of 255 characters.
    how can i upload this into internal table . From excel sheet or from tab delimeted or any other format? or any special function module is there?  while iam doing this its truncating the datat 255 characters and not uploading the other fields also...
    can any one of you help me out. ASAP

    you have to create multiple lines with do...enddo loop., like this:

  • Sort the internal table based on the vendor field

    I am stuck with a small problem...
    I am uploading the data for partner association for vendors through lsmw BI program.
    I am collecting all the records in the end of trasaction and downloading all those records on to the apps server.
    I declared one internal table as

    I am concatenating all the fields and moving to the internal table..

    How to capture the sy-tabix value for the entries in an internal table which has been looped into the loop of table node of a smartform?? I need to print something immedaitely after the end of the table
    For every record the value of sy-tabix is showing 1 !!

  • Regarding Exporting and Importing internal table

    Hello Experts,
    I have two programs:
    1) Main program: It create batch jobs through open_job,submit and close job.Giving sub program as SUBMIT.
    I am using Export IT to memory id 'MID' to export internal table data to sap memory in the subprogram.
    The data will be processed in the subprogram and exporting data to sap memory.I need this data in the main program(And using import to get the data,but it is not working).
    Importing IT1 from memory id 'MID' to import the table data in the main program after completing the job(SUBMIT SUBPROGRAM AND RETURN).
    Importing is not getting data to internal table.
    Can you please suggest something to solve this issue.

  • Need suggestion in uploading dynamic excel file to corresponding columns of internal table

    I have an excel file which doesn't have standard template. Just the users will key in their header (in row1 ) and followed by item details in excel and upload to internal table. Now by doing some internal developments in program I need to place the values in corresponding fields.

    use a temporary table to get excel values and then parse them to a second table with the format you want.

  • How to upload a file in application server to an internal table

          I am asked to upload a file from application server to internal table. Can you please suggest me the ways to do it or the function module which helps to browse the application server file names.

    Maybe you can declare another internal table, with all fields is type C and length as you wanted.
    Loop those three itabs, append to this new itab. then call this FM download.

  • IMPORT Statement Issue (Internal Table)

    Hi All,
    I am using an IMPORT statement to get all the data from other report's internal table. Now whenever this (the other report's internal table) is changed (for field addition, etc), my report throws a dump. Hence, everytime I have to add these fields in my program as well.
    Is there any way by which I can include the whole internal table of that report in my program just like
    'INCLUDE STRUCTURE VBRK'.
