In transaction LSMW,in the initial screen GOTO>ADMINISTRATION,here you will find the list of all the projects,U select that particular project and press delete,that will be deleted.

Project id and subproject id

Dear Freinds,
iam doing lsmw i have one doubt
a) when i am creating proect id i have given as ZHR_PA30
b) subproject id as zsub_pa30
c) object id zobj_pa30
ihave taken the second radio button option Batch input recording , however iam able to one infotype 0014 and however when i have
to do for 0015 i have to create again new object id or i can use same zobj_pa30. IF i have to use same object id so how i can change the batchinput recording...new name because
it is already having ZPA0014 how can i give for 0015 infotype please let me know.

Its good to have unique Object ids for each of ur recordings.so that u can always go back check your recordings.
if you have a project and subproject, give a new name for object id for new recording and click on create. You can create multiple object ids under same Project or subproject. Alternatively, you can retain the project id and change both subproject and object id for ur new recording.

How to export/Import default prefs and object styles with no project open?

I would like to export my preferences and object styles with no projects open and them import them on my team's machines so that no matter what project we create, we all start from the SAME set of defaults. When I open captivate and check both with no projects open, there is no ability to import/export. I know I could open a project and export, but then importing is an issue.
I'm using CP8 on a Windows 8.1 64 bit machine.

After a fresh install I start by editing the Preferences globally, that means by using Edit, Preferences before opening any project (like switching to Expert UI, default language, replacing feedback captions by shapes). There is indeed no way to import preferences from a specific file. I will do the same for some object styles (like creating a blank Highlight box for audio objects). You can only export/import from and to a project, same like for all Library assets.
However the Object styles: they are part of the default theme, along with their theme colors, master slides and skin. You cannot edit everything without having a project open. I would recommend to create a custom theme in a project, in which you have all the wanted object styles. Changing the theme colors (you can have a custom theme color palette) will change partially colors of the objects. Once you set that theme as default theme, you'll have all the object styles in the projects that use the default theme.
To transfer Preferences, custom themes to another machine, maybe this article could help you out. It was written for a different purpose, but you'll find the location of a lot of files that you could transfer in this post:

Project server 2013 master project and site with subprojects and subsites

i have a master project and try to create a sub site off the master project site. when I use project pro and publish and check "Provision the site as a subsite of another project I get an error. I have notice that the target URL changes. so unchecked
I get http://sharepoint/pwa/project1. so when I check it the target url becomes
http://sharepoint/masterproject/project1 where masterproject is the master. any ideas what I can do to have my sub project be a sub site of my master project. my master is a
http://sharepoint/pwa/masterproject. so my subproject should be http://sharepoint/pwa/masterproject/project1

So what i am getting from your question is
1. Problem you are getting error while trying to provision a site as subsite of another project, to resolve this we need to know what is the error you are getting ?
Also when you say URL Changes, what does that means?
2. For having your sub projects as part of master project, you should first publish your Master project which would create a project workspace for Master Project and then insert your sub projects within the master project(Or individually) and start
publishing your Sub projects and select provision this site as part of Subsite and in there select your master program name
Now when you goto the master project site and do view all site content, it should show you both other sub project sites underneathh it

Publishing Projects with Web Objects and YouTube Interactions

How do I publish projects with Web Objects and YouTube interactions to ensure they appear in my published project?
I am trying to publish my project, which contains Web objects and YouTube interactions, and they will not appear if I publish them either as swf or html (sometimes the Web object will appear, but not the YouTube interactions). Both objects work if I preview them on the stage.

Project Summary and Base Calendar Reports Error Message when Saving to Desktop from Server

We have a user that gets the following popup when she attempts to save file from the Server to her desktop:
"The Project Summary and Base Calendar reports cannot be opened, renamed, or deleted". The popup includes a red circle with a white "X" and an "OK" button. The OK button must be clicked 27 times
before the file will eventually save to the desktop.
I have been able to replicate this error when I try to save her file to my desktop, as well.
I can see from the Organizer that the Project Summary and Base Calendar reports are part of the Global, but not part of the file-specific reports while on the Server. This is true for other schedules in our enterprise, so I am not sure why this is
occurring. After performing the save and clicking "OK" 27 times, there is exactly 27 reports listed for this file in the Organizer, but the Project Summary and Base Calendar reports are the only two that did not transfer with the file.
What is going on here and why is it happening for just this file? It feels like we are getting into a contention issue between the local Global.MPT and the Enterprise Global.
We are on Project Server v2010 SP2.

When you open the organizer, check that you don't have for the project in question any enterprise object on the project side.
Have you installed the
latest PS2010 CU? A more radical way for reparing a file is to export it as an XML file and save/publish it back on Project Server as an MPP file. But the project UID will change thus it will cause trouble
in case you have timesheets. You could also try to delete the project and restore it (assuming you have the daily backup in place).

Scope and Objectives of making java swing scientific calculator

I am going to write code for java swing scientific calculator..... can any body help me to write scope and objectives of this project.... please please :-(

If this is for school work, then defining the scope is part of the problem. The only advice I will give you is that you only need to implement what the assignment specifies. It is probably intentionally vague so you can bite off way too much and not finish -- failure should teach you something too.
I had just such an assignment in my software engineering class in college -- create a cross compiler from X to Y where X and Y where known instruction sets. That was the entire assignment -- plus the instruction sets for X and Y. My team looked at the allotted time and resources availabe and decided to do a minimal implementation.
We where the only team to complete the assignment and all recieved A's because we accurately implemented the required solution and were able to evaluate the real problem--resource allotment--accurately.
Each other team tried to add "extras" that would "guarantee" them an A grade. In actuallity it was just a lot more work than they could do though and it hurt them in the long run--No matter how good the work was to the point they had at the end of the semester, each student in the other teams only recieved a B or less grade in the class due to failure on that project. Resource allocation and planning--only you can do that for your team/project.

In the above code note how i have taken the same names for the fields in internal table as they are in the BAPI so that the mapping of data becomes easier, since i use MOVE CORRESPONDING.

Hi Davinder Singh,
Projects helps you better organize your customer exit implementations. You can also implement logically grouped areas in one projects, so you get a better overview about your implementations.
For customer exits (CMOD) it's mandatory to define a project fro your implementation.

About subproject and task

Dear all,
I have a issue about the task and subproject,I create project A and task T01,and create other project B,the project B is project a subproject,It assignment to task T01,now about T01 start date:2011-05-01 & end date:2011-08-31,when I schdule the subproject B set the start date:2011-04-05 & end date:2011-09-30,but the system didn't give me any information tell me subproject B planning and master project A task T01 have conflict.
But I think if project B is project A subproject,Project B must accroding project A schdule the planning.

if I create the task on the fly in the vi, it is pretty heavy.
What means "heavy"?
- Yes, you should clear the task at end: the task is just the definition of a (DAQ) hardware setup, by clearing the task you free up that hardware...
- No, the task definition will not be removed from MAX. You just release the hardware.
- No, you cannot use the task more than once at the same time. As it is bound to some hardware you cannot use that single piece of hardware for more than one operation at a time…
- Yes, you may use the task in two VIs, that are called one after the other - but not at the same time…
- When you need two VIs "A" and "B" to output values to the same task you should use a different VI "C" that handles all hardware access while "A" and "B" just send new "commands" to "C". Think as "multiple producer, single consumer" scheme...

Can I use classes and objects to create my own package in LabVIEW?

Hi....I am writing my thesis on develpoing a simulation package. I am trying to compare simulation packages and their feautures as a scope of my project. Does anyone know if LabVIEW allows users to create their own toolboxes like MATLAB?...i mean something that can be done in object-oriented programming by making classes and objects.
