Have you deleted First Line in text File...
One Of the reason for this error is if u dont delete First Line in Text File....
try this....
Check for blanks in Excel...
Check for Source Fields..
Also Check any Unnecessary Space is there in ur excel file......

Lsmw with help of bapi

Hi All
i am doing LSMW with help of BAPI for transaction mm01. Initially i used the bapi name "bapi_standardmaterial_create" but it do not allow me for any method like create, edit etc. then i used the bapi name "bapi_material_savedata" but i do not get the "Business object name " and method name for this bapi.can anyone guide me how to do that.
And if anyone has the documet regarding steps follow in the lsmw with bapi with configuratin then please tell me.

LSMW with Idocs directly created

Hello,
I'm using the LSMW with Idocs for the migration of business partners in CRM.
During the step "convert data" I have the choise to create the Idocs directly (without creating the file first).
Some days ago everything was well working. But without knowing what I've changed in LSMW, this is no longer possible.
I get the same screen as when I want to create a file ".conv", but the name of "converted file" is not named. Instead there is a message "no directly creation of Idoc"
What do I do wrong? What do I have to change?

you have to always convert the data after reading the data.
please check in the specify files section you have given the file name for the converted data in the application server.
you will not get the option to create idocs directly in the convert data step.
please let me know if you any more details.

LSMW-direct Input Method for Vendor-XK01.(Urgent)

Hi Experts,
When we are uploading vendor master details thru lsmw using Direct Input we are encountering an error message in the step Create Batch Input Session and the error is Special character for empty field is /.
Beacuse of this the session is not getting created.
We are passing only mandatory fields not the entire fields specified in the program RFBIKR00 Method : 0001 ,Object 0040.Hence its taking nly / for the empty fields.
Please advice how can we rectify it.

check whether you are passing all the fields mentioned in the structure difined by you. if u delcared some fields in your passing structure and you mapped all these fields with standrd structure you have to pass compulosry those fields otherwise you have to put a validation at the field mapping.
double click on the mapped field. insert the validation.
( suppose u have a field qsskz in your structure and for some records you are not passing any value to this field then you have to add following validation)
if itab-qsskz is initial.
blbf1-qsskz = '/'.
else.
blfb1-qsskz = itab-qsskz.
endif.

LSMW - DIRECT INPUT METHOD FOR UPLOADING PP MASTER DATA

Dear Gurus,
A LSMW project (DIRECT INPUT METHOD)has been created for PP master.
But Now They have Lost Previous File which they have prepared Earlier.
Now to Create a file for the Same Project wat fields need to be taken.
By taking only Source structure fields it is giving error.
In project some constant fields are also there.
pls guide me.

what does that mean? did they lose the source that should be used to load the data from?
without source you cannot load data.
Had you ever got this source file? how? by mail, then check your old mails and take it from there, ask the sender to he/she checks the SENT folder in his mail system. Maybe someone has a local copy of this fille.

TS2529 I am unable to backup my iphone 5 iOS 6.0.1 (connected directly to laptop USB) with my itunes 11 for Win 7 64bits. The process starts and fails to complete giving the error: itunes could not complete backup of iphone because iphone disconnected.

I have restarted the PC, the iphone, changed the lightining cable and nothign resolves it: backup never completes.

Hi, I disabled the antivirus and the firewall. Same result
I even deleted the backup folder inside C:\Users\...\Apple Computer\MobileSync\Backup to eliminate any corruption in the old backup files.
Nothing changed: Session either times out or i get the same error message: itunes could not back up iphone because iphone disconnected. It always happens during step 3 out of 4 which is "transfering purchased apps from iphone to PC" and comes after step 2 which is backup.
My iphone 5 is not jailbroken, and is a factory unlocked phone.
Any other suggestion?

Groupwise address book sync with Nextel Direct connect #'s for 8350i

Is there a way to sync address books for groupwise and 8350i to included the nextel direct connect information?

Mapping solves the problem. Groupwise has no corresponding field for "Direct Connect". For ease of data entry, I mapped the Direct Connect field in my 8350i with the pager field in my groupwise address books. The BB desktop manager now syncs the nextel direct connect #'s.
The steps are:
In BB desk top manager, select Sync Configuration; address book; advanced; Field Mapping (at bottom of list). Map an unused field in the GW address book with the direct connect field in the 8350i.
I assumethis would also work with outlook and others.

I am using LSMW with BAPI for creating purchasing contract.
I got status of the Idoc as " 64 " means Idoc is ready to transferred to application but when i go to next step ...
I am getting dump when I executing the step "Start Idoc Processing"
The errors shows like this: - "Object cannot be assigned to null"
Any help on this:-

Objects of LSMW:
Project ID with max of 10 char to Name the data transfer project.
Subproject Used as further structuring attribute.
Object ID with max of 10 Characters, to name the Business object .
Project can have multiple sub projects and subprojects can have multiple objects.
Project documentation displays any documentation maintained for individual pop ups and processing steps
User Guide: Clicking on Enter leads to interactive user guide which displays the Project name, sub project name and object to be created.
Object type and import techniques:
Standard Batch / Direct input.
Batch Input Recording
 o If no standard programs available
 o To reduce number of target fields.
 o Only for fixed screen sequence.
 BAPI
 IDOC
 o Settings and preparations needed for each project
Preparations for IDOC inbound processing:
 Choose settings -> IDOC inbound processing in LSMW
 Set up File port for file transfer, create port using WE21.
 Additionally set up RFC port for submitting data packages directly to function module IDoc_Inbound_Asynchronous, without creating a file during data conversion.
 Setup partner type (SAP recommended US) using WE44.
 Maintain partner number using WE20.
 Activate IDOC inbound processing.
 Verify workflow customizing.
Steps in creating LSMW Project:
 1) Maintain attributes choose the import method.
 2)Maintain source structure/s with or without hierarchical relations. (Header, Detail)
 3) Maintain source fields for the source structures. Possible field types C,N,X, date, amount and packed filed with decimal places.
 Fields can be maintained individually or in table form or copy from other sources using upload from a text file
 4) Maintain relationship between source and target structures.
 5) Maintain Field mapping and conversion rules
 For each Target field the following information is displayed:
 o Field description
 o Assigned source fields (if any)
 o Rule type (fixed value, translation etc.)
 o Coding.
 o Some fields are preset by the system & are marked with Default setting.
 6) Maintain Fixed values, translations, user defined routines Here reusable rules can be processed like assigning fixed values, translation definition etc.
 6) Specify Files
 o Legacy data location on PC / application server
 o File for read data ( extension .lsm.read)
 o File for converted data (extension .lsm.conv)
 7) Assign Files to defined source structures
 8) Read data Can process all the data or part of data by specifying from / to transaction numbers.

 10) Convert Data Data conversion happens here, if data conversion program is not up to date, it gets regenerated automatically.

BAPI / IDOC Technique:

 o Application program checks data and posts in the application database.
Finally Transport LSMW Projects:
 R/3 Transport system
 o Extras ->Create change request
 o Change request can be exported/imported using CTS

 o Select / Deselect part / entire project & export to another R/3 system

 o Exported mapping / rules can be imported through PC file
 o Existing Project data gets overwritten
 o Prevent overwriting by using

LSMW with transaction FS01 to create GL account

Dear Gurus,
I am using LSMW and Standard Batch.... for uploading GL master data....
Object - 0010
Method - 0002
Program - RFBISA00
Program Type - B
Till the conversion step the data gets read correctly and i could even see it when i display converted data....
After that when i try to create a Batch Input Session... I get this screen... It shows as information and not an error symbol....

I am also trying to create GL master data in multiple company codes (CoCd) using LSMW with;
- Standard Batch / Direct Input
- Object: 0010
- Method: 0001
- Program name: RFBISA00
- Program type: B
LSMW can't generate the batch session as the GL account already exist in the chart of account (CoA). Can someone give me an example code to use in "Maintain Field Mapping and Conversion Rules" to avoid this error please?
This code should check whether the gl account exist in CoA, if yes, don't create in CoA and carry on with creating in the CoCd. If no, create in both CoA and CoCd.

Problem with direction in a page(??????)

Hi every body,
I have a problem with direction in some page when i change the language to Arabic(right to left language).
in some page like welcome page its completely true ,but in some page that i buile with my self (and add some portlet to it like :advanced search portlet)its directon does not appear properly,the label is appear in left, and text box appear in right(its not true).
what can i do??????????????????

How do I use LSMW with a bespoke dataload program?

Hello data migration gurus, I need your help.
I need to migrate data from a legacy system into a suite of bespoke functionality we've written within SAP CRM. We are planning to write a program to perform the load. However we would like such a program to be reusable, so it makes sense to keep the data load separate from the data formatting, which may vary between customers.
The obvious answer is to use LSMW for the data formatting, calling our load program as the last step. However in LSMW you can only choose from a list of standard dataload programs. Does anyone know how to use LSMW with a bespoke program? It looks like transaction SXDA might be involved, but it isn't too clear. If anyone has done this kind of thing elsewhere, advice would be much appreciated!
Obviously as an alternative we could just write a separate program to format the data - it would just be a lot better if we could use LSMW.

Help with Proper DNS Setup for Leopard Standard Server Setup

Hello All,
Problem Description-
I was reviewing some training today on DNS setup and checking for proper setup with the sudo changeip - checkhostname tool and I seem to have an incorrectly configured DNS setup. So I need some help on correcting it. When I go to the "Server Preferences" tool I cannot log in using apple.ourdomainname.com instead in order to use the tool I have to input localhost as the server name. Now I just thought that the system was broken or something and with the help of my training I now see it's a DNS problem. I thought I had everything proper since I followed the steps of creating proper DNS/RDNS entries with my ISP. Now I am stuck wondering what else isn't working properly due to the DNS issue. Thanks in advance.
Technical Info-
My ISP provides us with 5 static IP's and we have asked them to create entries and verified the setup of apple.ourdomainname.com = x.x.x.x which is one of our public IP's assigned currently assigned to the WAN port of our Apple Airport Extreme. We have also had them create a PTR record which also is present, verified and functional. Our MacMini running 10.5.5 is connected directly to one of the ethernet ports on our Apple Airport Extreme which is our NAT/Firewall for the LAN. So during the setup of the Standard Server install the OS configured the Airport with the required ports for chat/web/vpn. And mobile Mac's can VPN in and gain folder access and web works fine too. We don't use the e-mail portion so I can't say how that works. The server is using the DNS of 10.0.200.1 which is the IP of the Airport and the airport is programmed with the DNS of OpenDNS servers 208.67.222.222 and 208.67.220.220. The reason for this whole long shpeal is that I want to give as much technical background as possible for the best possible help.
