LSO BSP Application display error in portal

Dear experts,
In LSO Learner portal the BSP application HCM_LEARNING is not displaying properly.
If we execute the same application from SE80 from admin login the application is working and it is displaying correctly but if we execute from different login the application is not working and the pages are not displaying and it is giving the below error.
No authorization to log on as a Trusted System (L-RC=0 T-RC=2).

Either SSO is not configured correctly or there is something wrong with the system in the portal you configured for this iView

Closing Server Session of a BSP application deployed on the Portal

I have a BSP application deployed on the Portal v. NW07. This BSP application is a tab sitting besides other applications such as My Staff of MSS.
The BSP sets a lock like "CALL FUNCTION 'ENQUEUE' " and the backend system is SAP R/3 4.7.
QUESTION: How can I get the server session to terminate when the user navigates from the tab corresponding to my BSP application to the other tabs.
Currently, the session doesn't even close when I logoff completely from the Portal. This BSP used to be deployed to users alone within the
IE browser and I was able to handle session management using JavaScript code similar to what's in page 'session_single_frame.htm' of BSP 'SYSTEM'. However, when deployed to the Portal, that piece
of code doesn't seem to do anything.
"Supports Portal Integration" is checked and the BSP application is stateful.

for managing the backend session, all you have to do at the BSP app level is to set the supports portal integration flag, so that it generates the domain relaxation scripts.

BSP Application Runtime Error OBJECTS_OBJREF_NOT_ASSIGNED

Hi,
Iam using the standard BSP application Employee (CRMM_EMPLOYEE). Iam trying to run from Portal and getting following error.
ST22 short dump info:

BSP Application CRM_UI_FRAME - Error

Hi Experts,
When starting the BSP Application CRM_UI_FRAME an error message is raises HTTP_COMMUNICATION_FAILURE (ICM_HTTP_CONNECTION_FAILED
). The error is raised in Class CL_HTTP_CLIENT Method IF_HTTP_CLIENT~RECEIVE. You can check ST22 for the Short dumps.
Kindly help me in resolving the error.

BSP application accessing error throgh browser

Hi ,
I am new to BSP.I need simple help.During my BSP execution.Its asking Domain name in URL path.Actually my SAP system is installed on Local installation.Can execute BSP Applications on system which is installation based on Lcal system installation procedure.
How can i resolve this domain issue during BSP execution.If u solve thsi issue things will be easy.
Plz suggest necessary configuration reqiured in BSP execution using Domain.

it doesn't matter if it is a local installation or not.
You need a fully qualified domain name, as stated and explained in this weblog:

If the machine is not part of a domain, do the following:
choose a domain name for yourself (should not match an existing real one), use it to set the icm parameter, and add an entry to your hosts file which matches your machine's FQDN to its IP.

LSO- BSP connection- Communication error

We have installed LSO FE and LSO BE. We are not using portal. When I am trying to use the BSP, it gives me a communication error.
Has anyone experienced this?

We figured it out. There was a need to create a RFC logical connection called SAP_LSO_BACKEND.

How to set up use of relative URLs for a BSP application

Dear all,
I need to access a BSP application through our external portal.
This is failing because generated URLs are absolute URLs (they mention physical server name, not known of course on the internet) where they should be relative URLs (they use external portal URL as prefix).
How to set this up?
I'm logged on http://myportal.com/irj/portal and want to call a BSP application. To build this page, my internet client (Internet Explorer) tries to get elements from the server. Looking at HTTP trace, I can see that my IE is trying to reach the physical server, not known on internet of course, then page loading fails.
Ex absolute URL : http://myservername.domain.com/sap/bw/[...]/image1.gif
This is the behavior I can see at the moment.
Relative URL : http://myportal.com/sap/bw/[...]/image1.gif
This is what I'd like to see.

Creating a New PO using BSP Application

Hello BSP Gurus,
Newbie in BSP and want to create a BSP application that uploads PO data using Transaction ME21N. Its like this, an BSP application displays the Header and Line item data. and then I need to create a New PO by inputting the fields in the BSP Application.
Any suggestions would be rewarded.

Random application object lost in Portal

Hi people,
I'm having a problem with the application object.
Some times, in a random way, i'm losing the state of the application object between request's.
This appens when I'm using the BSP application in the SAP Portal.

Hi,
the problem is that in the url I pass a parameter that in the bsp page copy to an attribute of the application.
Then in the controler i try to read this value and it is empty, all the information in application object is lost.
This appens during one single request.
I have several Iviews pointing to the same BSP application, the diference between the content that is shown is controled by the parameter passed in the URL.
Is it possible that while navigating between iviews, the info in the BSP application is mix up. Something like the aplication start (iview open) and then been close (previous iview close)?

Access deinied error in browser while accessing bsp application in Portal

Hi All,
I'm integrating SRM in to Enterprise portal using SRM business package,in which i access CCM iviews which were buit using BSP Application. EP in one host, and BSP Application resides in another host, so there are 2 different hosts. I define full hostname to both host, example, EPhost.domain.com and BSPhost.domain.com. The iView can be displayed in Portal. However, when I click one of the button or drop down in that iview displayed on the iView's toolbar (e.g. buttons are New, Goto), it gives me "Access is denied".
Any idea to fix this?

Hi,
I am not sure how did you get that bsp-url but here are the steps:
1) Create a system and assign an alias to it.
2) Make sure you give proper values in Connector, User Management and ITS Property Category
3) Check the connection by creating a sample SAP Transaction iview using WebGUI
4) If this is working fine, then create a BSP iview. Make sure you select proper system alias, BSP Defination Type (BSP), give the correct Application Namespace, BSP Application, Customer Namespace and start page.
Let me know what are the values you have entered here and we can try to fix this problem.

Welcome to the forums and welcome to BSP. There are a few things we kindly ask

That will help you jump several of the hurdles you'll come across as you get started.
As for your problem if you are receiving the message "Service is not active" then you need to go into the transaction SICF in your system and follow the tree (take a look at the path in your browser /sap/bc/...) and select each until you get down to the one you are trying to look at and active it.
If you are getting errors about other ones not activated then do the same for those.
If you are not getting those errors and your browser is simply telling you "Can't find it or something" then in "Internet Options" in your browser advanced tab uncheck the "Show Friendly HTTP Errors".
You can also check transaction ST22 to see if there is a short dump in which case that will help analyze the problem.
Otherwise you'll need to give us more info including your SP level (recommend you jump up to at least 43 on ABA and BASIS)

Hi,
One of my BSP application in HR application (Talent developement) is giving error when run through portal 7.0.
Respected SICF service is already activated for the BSP application under /sap/bc/bsp/sap, but when try to test service through ECC system it display message :
Internal error : An internal error occurred. Please try again later.
Same message is displayed in Portal.
Please guide were exactly issue is lying.

Javascript error calling a bi 7.0 webapplication from a bsp application

Hi everyone,
This is the scenario we're facing a javascript error :
Enterprise Portal is calling a custom bsp application ( via an iview in the enterprise portal ) in the bi system with a parameter "template_id" and a value, which is the technical name of a bi web application.
The bsp application is evaluating the parameter by some custom code and creating a html page with a redirect or a maintenance message to the bi web application passed with the parameter "template_id".

Purpose of the bsp application :
in the bi system there is a database table to maintain a flag for each webtemplate and infocube, which should not be called via the enterprise portal for a certain time ( some kind of maintenance switch ). The bsp application then decides to show a maintenance page for the called webtemplate or to send the redirect page to the client.
The process described above is :
working with the bi 7.01 sp7 in the bi ( enterprise portal sp22 ) in the productive system.
working in the Q&A system bi 7.01 sp8 with bi 3.5 web applications.
not working in the Q&A system bi 7.01 sp8 with bi 7.0 web applications.
The javascript error calling bi 7.0 web applications is :

We've opened a message. Support center is saying that this method isn't supported by sap. We should ommit the bsp application and the used functionality.
Is there any way to find out, what is causing this object is missing ?
Is there another way than a bsp application to use this custom maintenance function in the described system setup ?

we did some further analysis on this problem und we think we found the problem.
The error occurs while trying to execute the standard url for web templates inside a Enterprise Portal Frame, for example

While executing the URL a HTML-Page with some embeded Javascript-code is sent back to the browser.
In this Javascrip-Code, the method-call "dsmObj.registerAll" leads to a script error in Internet Explorer.

In SP7, the method "dsmObj.registerFullKey" is called instead of "dsmObj.registerAll". This has changed in SP8.

The object "dsmObj" seems to reference the parent frame of the Enterprise Portal.

Getting value from portal or bsp application to selection screen parameter

Daer SDNer's.
                       Is there any possibility of getting value from bsp application and that value to be passed to selection paramater of bw query varaiable.
concept as follows.
                                report is based on vendor related information. particular vendor having user id in bsp or portal for accessing reports. if he selects bw query in portal or bsp dash board. that same vendor name or id shoukd be pass to default vendor selection entry in bi... so only that particular vendor details should display.....
