LSO Create Course: LSO_PVS2 Change Default Settings

Hi, in LSO_PVS2 the default to create courses is set to "Planned". Can someone tell me how I can change the default setting to "Firmly Bkd"?
I couldn't find anything in the IMG that would allow me to modify the screen (like you can with HR infotypes)

You can create a course in Firmly Booked Status
Go to LSO_PSV2 -Course Menu
Select Course Group -Create Courses with out Resources-Go to Data Screen-Select -Firmly booked-

How to change default settings for a video generator?

I'm using a video generator (Lyric Media's Pan Zoom Pro) many times in the same project, and have to change the default settings for each new instance of the generator that I create. I'm wondering if there's any way to change the default settings for a generator (i.e., length of clip, individual slider and checkbox settings in the "controls" tab) so that each new instance automatically has my customized settings when I first open it.

That works for the all the controls/filter settings. The clip length still defaults to 10 seconds, but that's OK, since the main thing I was looking for was to change the clip's internal settings. Thanks for your help

My iCal seems to default to an all-day event when I try to create a new event this is annoying.

For example, you can enter “Super Bowl Party Feb 6,” “Movie with Rebecca on Friday at 7pm,” “Soccer Game on Saturday from 11am-1pm,” or “Breakfast with Jon,” and then press Return.

Default settings for the CaptureOnTouch program get loaded automatically on startup for my Canon imageFORMULA DR-C125. I can personalize these settings, and take a backup, no problem. When another user logs into that very same computer with the very same scanner attached, they get the same automatically loaded default settings. In order for them to use the settings that I took a great deal of time to customize, they need to load the backup file that I created (whateverfilename.cot). It may seem like no big deal for somebody with some medium computer knowledge, but I have 50+ users logging into this computer, and I do not have time to show everyone of them what to do nor how to do it. Here comes my question: where are the defaults settings that Canon has created (which are so limited : they don't contain grayscale scan settings!) located on the computer (Program Files?) and what is the name of the file? I need to change these settings to something my users can easily deal with, and more importantly, I need scans that are nimble in size so that they can be emailed easily. I'm in charge of updating our disk image for our MacBook Pro's running 10.6.2
I need to modify the following settings in our image.
-Junk Filter turned OFF
-Edit > Attachments > Always Send Windows-Friendly Attachments - ENABLED
-Edit > Attachments > Always Insert Attachments at End of Message - ENABLED
How can I change these settings on my image, so when the image is deployed to a Mac they will get the Mail Wizard setup with these settings set?

For what it's worth, I figured it out.
In addition to my iCloud calendars, I subscribed to CalDAV calendars from my office (from Snow Leopard Server). For some reason, you can't set or change a default calendar unless you turn off the CalDAV calendars. At that point, the option to set a default calendar magically appears. I set the default I wanted, then turned the CalDAV calendars back on, at which time the option disappeared again, but fortunately left my selected calendar as the default.

Open System Preferences/Network. Select Airport in the panel in the left then click the Advanced tab then click the Proxies tab. Where you see: Select a protocol to configure Make sure there are NO boxes checked.
Click the Airport tab in that same window. Make sure your network is listed under: Preferred Networks
If not, cick + Type in your network name or click Show Networks and select it from there. Your network should be listed in the Preferred Networks window now. Just below that window select the box next to: Remember networks this computer has joined.
If you still have problems, open Airport Utility (Applications/Utilities)
Select your device on the left then click Continue. In the next window click: I want to restore this AirPort device to its factory settings and then set it up again; then click Continue.
I'm on Comcast without using any Proxies.
You can disconnect the Comcast cable modem from it's power source for about 5 minutes then reconnect. Sometimes you have to recycle the modem.

Also, on the G5. Go to /Library/Preferences/System Configuration and move these files to the Trash.

Changing default settings for video effect?

Hi,
I have a ton of interview clips to which I am adding the Timecode effect for transcriptions and translations.
For each clip I increase the size and opacity, remove the field symbol and change Timecode Source to Media. I have hundreds of clips and changing the settings for each clip is a real pain.
Is there any way to change the default settings of the effect so I can just drag the effect to the clips and be done with it?

Set up the timecode effect the way you like it on one clip,
then right-click the clip and select 'Copy'.
Select all of the other clips to which you want to apply the same effect,
right-click and select 'Paste Attributes'.

How to change default settings Google Cloudprint 8500 A910

Printing from Google Chrome using the Cloudprint dialog, my default settings are gray, long edge duplex and best quality printing. Using the regular Chrome print dialog, there is no way to select print quality, but I suspect it's printing at "best" quality, which is not what I want. Is there a way to change these defaults?

LSO Create Course Links link types (restrict link types)

Hi all,
a question to pose for some of those IMG gurus out there!
We are implementing LSO (and its Portal front-end) and a requirement to 'limit the course link types available to users' has cropped up.
Specifically, what we're trying to achieve is the following:
1. Course Admin runs 'Create or Change Course'
2. After selecting the location, etc, the admin clicks on the Links tab to add links to the course
3. A list of predefined links (inherited from the course type) are already listed. User clicks 'Add' to add some more.
4. A pop up appears. Here you may select the Link Type. Our choices are 'Web Link' (i1061) and 'Collaboration Room' (i5045).
We only want 'Web Link' to appear in the drop-down list of Link Type options. Short of enhancements to strip out the values is there a means of manipulating the Link Types available to a user when they add Links to a new Course? This is where I'm hoping a config activity is available in IMG. It may be that because the Course infty and Web Link/Collaboration Room infty are related, we can't do this, but I'll pose the question anyway as it is (so far proved to be!) a tricky one.

I do not paste images from clipboard (I consider it bad practice) but I have clients who do.
In my experience InDesign does not lower the resolution, but the pasted image is RGB. That and the fact that it doesn't show up in the links is why I don't like it.
Are there any other link types? It seems like this would be a type (if it showed up in links panel), since it is not really imported.
The only way I know to make them links is copy, paste into blank Photoshop, save that then place that into InDesign. This is easy to do, but finding all these pasted graphics can be time consuming, since they are not in links list.
This would apply to raster images only, since pasted vector art converts to the native InDesign platform.
