LSO: Remove tab "External person" add resource to course (backend)

Hello,
3 questions concerning the disabling of external persons (object H)
1. When adding a resource to a course there is 2 tabs available:
- External person: referring to the object H
- Person: referring to the object P
How can I disable/remove the tab "external person"? Is this possible with customizing?
If so, where could I find this customizing because we've looked everywhere and can't find it.
2. How can I remove "external person" when booking a participation list of persons?
3. How can I remove "external person" from prebook list per course type?

I created with PSV8 "external" persons for the Learning Solution. How can I connect the User (US) with the external person, so that the external person can book courses via the Enterprise Portal and see their history? How can external persons register on their own?
We have the CRM System in use, can I use these data also for the LSO?

Hi,
As a general rule, the Object types like external person,.qualification, qualification group,Buss event group are created from the frontend.You can use PP01 or pp02 tcode.

When loading Elements 10 why did it remove my Nic Software add-ons in Lightroom 3?

I have uninstalled and reinstalled the Nic programmes but no success. And it is all now so slow that i am thinking of reinstalling everything. With Windows 7, 8 gb of memory and and i5 Intel processor, my computer should be able to handle this. Elements 7 was already there and working well, so I must have done something wrong. Any suggestions?

Hi, After installing NIK plug-ins, Please check on C:\Users\[user name]\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Lightroom\External Editor Presets folder.Here you can see some Nik- plugins templates , open any template in Notepad and see "ExternalEditorFullPath" verify this path is right and whether .exe file is present at this location or not.Also verify the status of this path and .exe location after using the PSE.I am confident, this is the issue of file path mismatch. How do i remove tabs on top in v 33.1

i just did a restore firefox action because i had a firefox message stating that could speed up my browser. After doing this, it has defaulted to putting my tabs on top. i really don't like tabs on top and want to change that setting. i read in one forum that i needed to change the setting in about:config. However I do not see the referenced tabsontop setting that was referenced. Ho can i remove tabs on top?
Bonus question: I have always liked having the description of the icons in the menu bar available. i.e. the home icon not only displays a house, but the text "home" as well.

We have a requirement, where the (internally generated)external Person ID should be replaced with some other values.
Is it possible to replace it? does any BAPI or functional modules exist!

You can try this step:
1) Remove value from table T77S0 for Group CCURE PIDGN and PIDSL
By doing this, Person ID will not generated during hiring and you may update IT0709 manually.

Open Time Machine preferences, click on the Options button. At the bottom of the exclusion list click on the Add [-] button, select the drive in the File dialog, click on the Exclude button. Understand that this configuration will only remain as long as the drive remains mounted.

Oracle Failsafe - Add Resource to Group

hi to all,
i have a question about using Oracle Failsafe.
I have had a 2 Node Cluster (Czvsor1 and czvsor2) with Clustergroup and Oracle Group with database db1 in it on node czvsor1 with perfect working failover to node czvsor2 managed by Failsafe Manager - All running on windows2003 server.
Now i wanted to bring up a third node czvsor3 with the database ORCFIBU on it, adding this node to cluster , creating a second oracle group on this node, add resource (database) to this group and manage it with failsafe manger to failover to my second node czvsor2 when needed.
Everything went perfect - adding node to cluster, creating and testing oracle group 2 with 2 SAN devices, moving oracle group no node 2 and back again.
BUT adding database to group failed - errors in verifying Devices

Group has 2 SAN DEVICES K and L which i can move without any problems to node czvsor2 and back - but without the database.
Normally my First node CZVSOR1 with Oracle Group CZVSOC01 on it is not involved for i removed this node from the available nodes list in my new group CZVSOC2
DO i have to make K an L available from Node 1 CZVSOR1 ????
General Question is it possible to have a 3 node Cluster with the following Configuration
Node1 with Oracle Group 1 and database 1 managed to failover to node2
Node3 with oracle Group 2 and database 2 managed to failover to node 2

Yes, but yet not find a solution.
we restarted the installation from scratch and now we are at the phase of the database instance.
We noticed the following during the configuration of the first MSCS node :
at the time where sapinst creates the sap cluster group, we get the error:
"could not create sap cluster group. Please look at R3Clus.log"
Behind it appears a screen where we are prompted to add manually the values. We added manually the values and then the sap cluster group was succesfully created and the configuration of the first MSCS node finished without reporting errors.
But we noticed that although the SAPLOC share is normaly created in HA installation through ASCS installation and automatically removed when processing First MSCS Node, it was not removed at our case.
We would like to know if the whole above symptom is normal or we must
expect problems at the continuing of the installation of ECC6?
If it is not normal what else we can do, so that sapinst do not
stop at the creation of the sap cluster group ?

A msi file is short for microsoft installer. It normally is for installation, removal, and maintenance for a program. So iTunes.msi would be used for the updating of the program. For some reason it isnt finding this so we can't update, install, or remove it.
From what I have seen windows installer cleanup utility solved related problems before.
I found this forum about removing and installing a new iTunes. It was about someone who was trying to isntall iTunes, and was looking for msi file and asked for help. Using this should allow you to be able to install iTunes. It won't give you the msi file but will allow you to isntall iTunes over again.
This was what was said.
Another option in case you can't get an msi. (Or even if you can ... the msi's mentioned in the messages may be damaged rather than missing.)
Unfortunately, this sort of trouble has gotten more complicated to deal with ever since Microsoft pulled the Windows Installer CleanUp utility from their Download Center on June 25. First we have to find a copy of the utility.
Let's try Googling. (Best not to use Bing, I think.) Look for a working download site for at least version 3.0 of the Windows Installer CleanUp utility. (The results from mydigitallife and Major Geeks are worth checking.)
After downloading the utility installer file (msicuu2.exe), scan the file for malware, just in case. (I use the free version of Malwarebytes AntiMalware to do single-file scans for that.)
If the file is clean, to install the utility, doubleclick the msicuu2.exe file you've downloaded.
Now run the utility ("Start > All Programs > Windows Install Clean Up"). In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select any iTunes entries and click "Remove".
Restart the PC, and try another iTunes install. Does it go through properly this time?

Add another e-mail account to your messages, so people could reach you on that e-mail from messages. As soon as you are online (if you have wifi only iPad) you are able to send and receive messages. i.e. your son can send you a messages from his iPhone addressing it to your (that additional) e-mail address.

How to remove an external drive from time machine backup

In time machine I also backup to an external drive. I recently bought a new external drive and thats working fine. However, it still wants to backup to my previous drive which I dont want to use. In time machine preferences I see the old and new drive listed. Both are greyed out so I cannot deselect the older drive.
Suggestions?

If you see them both listed on the initial screen of TM prefs, they are both selected as backup drives. They are not being backed up. They are being used by Time Machine as a destination. You need to use “Select Disk…” to remove the external drives from the destination drives. Select Disk does not choose the drives you want to back up. It chooses the drives you wan to back up to.

How do I remove an external hard drive from airport extreme using airport utility 6.2

I want to remove an external drive from my airport extreme but unsure how to do so (apart from just unplugging it). I need to take it away and hopefully plug it back in later. Any advice would be appreciated.

Unfortunately, AirPort Utility 6.2 does not provide you with the option to "unplug" a drive.
If the drive is mounted on your desktop, simply drag its icon to the Trash.....or.....right-click the disk icon and choose the Eject option.
Now you can disconnect the hard drive from the AirPort Extreme.
If the drive does not appear on the desktop, then you can simply physically unplug the drive.

How to duplicate a target and add resources in xcode using command line?

I am trying to use command line tools to create, add resources, build, archive and export to ipa in xcode. I could do the Build, Archive and Exporting to IPA through the command line tools(xcodebuild). But I also wanted to duplicate the target in the same project,add a new Info.plist to the duplicated target resource through command line itself. How to do it? I could not find any valuable answers by Googling. I could not find any proper documentation also in Apple Sites.
Is there any tools that can be used to perform these? I don't want to use the UI. Please, help me out.

The Mac App Store is not appropriate for command line tools. You can use any language you want.

How to remove tab stops at one shot after importing a word document

HI everyone,
This is my first post in Framemaker Community as I am moving from RH to FM.
I have an issue with respect to importing word documents to Framemaker.
After I have import a word to doc to FM multiple tab stops are created.
Now, although I remove the tab stops manually once, If I place my mouse in the next line , the tab stops are seen again.
Is there any shortcut wherein I can remove tab stops at one go after I import a word document in Framemaker.

Edit > Find / Change
Find: Text: [ \x08 ]
Change To Text: [ \x20 ]
<*> Document
[ Change All ]
This would change all tabs to ordinary spaces. You can actually just type a tab and space character, but I used the hex notation so you see what you're doing. The space could be any other character(s) you desire, or no characters at all (make sure the To Text: field is empty).
