LT01 not executable on mobile device

We recently went live with a u201CRF warehouseu201D.  The consultants are gone, and itu2019s just me the staff ABAPu2019er left.  And of course, there is a problem that nobody caught in our testing phase.
We have SAP R/3 Enterprise, known locally as u201Cversion 4.7u201D.
The users have mobile devices from which they cannot execute transaction LT01 to do a bin-to-bin transfer.  The screen resolution on the mobile devices has only two settings, neither of which allows for the entire LT01 screen to be visible.  There is no scrolling available on the devices.
So the users have to go to a workstation to complete a bin-to-bin transfer.
It is my great and fervent hope that one of the experts here can direct me to an alternate transaction that will accomplish that which is done in LT01, yet is fully executable on the mobile devices.
The other alternatives that I can envision are not pleasant.  I guess I can try to redesign LT01 so that it fits on the screen of the mobile device.  Or we can go for different mobile hardware that can accommodate the LT01.
I anticipate the community responses with great eagerness.

Hi Ken
I havent worked on the scenario you have described.  But with requirement mentioned by you I have a suggestion.  Please check whether it should work of not.
As an immediate soluition, you can design a z transaction with screen that fits the mobile device. ( I am not sure which one you are using ) and take all the information from the user on that screen and pass it in a BDC in back ground in tcode LT01.  This is the best I can think of to resolve your issue.

    Hi Carlos,
MS mobile browsers are crippled. They don't support many features known from IE. I would suggest to check MSDN for Windows Mobile documentation:

  • HTML5 output is not working on mobile devices, including iPads and iPhones

    Hello,
I posted a question about this last week but had no reply. So I'm posting it again as it presents a serious problem for anyone wanting to publish content to mobile devices from Captivate 6.
The problem is that HTML5 quiz content runs incrediably slowly (it at all) and crashes the brower on mobile devices. I have tested this on an iPhone and 2 iPads in 2 different locations.
This is a demo that shows the problems: http://sshls-dev.port.ac.uk/captivate_problems/
(Running this demo on a standard laptop / PC will be fine and it will work perfectly. The problem only appears when the content is viewed on a mobile device).
The problem is more extreem in the 'shorthand' demo. The quiz loads up the first question and then when I press submit it either freezes or closes the browser (Safari) completly. Occasionally it will progress to questions 2 or 3 but then the same happens.
I am keen on finding an answer / workaround becuase at the moment it effectively means that Captivate cannot be used to display quizes on phones / iPads.
I would be very grateful if anyone knows how to solve this problem to let me know.
    thanks,
    Emily

  • IPod Nano 6g not syncing - Apple Mobile Device Support can't install

i recently got iTunes working again on my computer. my grandfather wanted me to sync his old iPod Nano, so i did that and it worked fine. i then tried to sync my own iPod Nano 6g, and it gave me the error:
"An iPod has been detected, but it could not be identified properly. Please disconnect and reconnect the iPod, then try again.
If the problem persists, uninstall iTunes, then install iTunes again."
i tried reconnecting the iPod, of course, and then tried reinstalling iTunes, but the same error kept coming up. if i closed iTunes, then connected the iPod, i could find it in My Computer, but after opening iTunes it would give me the error and eject itself. i then tried all the stuff outlined here:
    http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/ituneshelp/?kbase=TS1363&viewlocale=en_US
but that didn't help. i tried plugging the iPod into the USB ports at the back of the computer, but nope.
i soon discovered that Apple Mobile Device Support wasn't running or installed on the computer, and that that may be the source of the problem. however, i looked in my C:\Program Files\Common Files\Apple folder and there was a Apple Mobile Device folder. it didn't appear complete, though, as there wasn't the 'bin' folder needed to run AMDS properly. i renamed this Apple Mobile Device folder, adding an 'OLD' at the end, so as to not interrupt any times i would try to install AMDS in this folder properly.
i first tried a simple complete uninstall then reinstall of iTunes, but i noticed during the install that when the installer got to the stage of installing Apple Mobile Device Support, it would stop and then say 'rolling back action' and the loading bar would move backwards, before installing the rest of iTunes as normal. hence, AMDS was still uninstalled and my iPod still wasn't being recognized by iTunes.
i tried extracting the iTunesSetup.exe file, and then running the AppleMobileDeviceSupport.msi file separately, but it would give me the same rolling back action thing and it would end in 'installation interrupted, system was not modified, please try again later'. tried disabling my anti-virus then installing iTunes, then disabling my anti-virus and running the AppleMobileDeviceSupport.msi separately but nothing was different.
please help. why is Apple Mobile Device Support not installing? and is this actually the reason why my iPod is not syncing with iTunes? any insight would be appreciated. thanks.

On rare occasions on Windows XP systems, I've seen that effect produced when there are old files/folders for the netaapl.sys and usbaapl.sys drivers stuck down in your Windows Operating system folders. If that's afoot, the following (somewhat involved) procedure may be of some assistance:

  • Entries on desktop iCal do not sync with mobile devices.

I am running OSX 10.7.3 on my 2.8 GHz Intel Core i7 iMac. iPhone running 5.1.1
Starting recently, entries I make on my desktop iCal do not sync thru the Cloud to the browser iCloud Calendar or my iPhone Calendar or my IPad Calendar.
My email, my Contacts sync just fine.
An iCal entry on my iPhone will sync with all mobile devices and the Cloud browser but do not sync to the iMac. In fact, all transactions from any mobile device and browser based Cloud all sync just fine between devices and iMac.  All but the iCal transactions.  They do not sync to the iMac or from the iMac
    Suggestions, please!
    dan

First check that all your settings are correct, that calendar syncing is checked on all devices (system preferences > iCloud on a mac and settings > iCloud on a iPhone, iPad or iPod).
Make sure the calendars you are using are in your 'iCloud' account and not an 'On My Mac', 'On My Phone' or other non iCloud account (you can do this by clicking/tapping the calendar button in the top left corner of the application ), non iCloud calendars will not sync.
If you are sure that everything is set up correctly and your calendars are in the iCloud account, you might try unchecking calendar syncing in the iCloud settings, restarting your device and then re-enabling calendar syncing settings.

    Hi Experts,
In mobile devices the measuring pints for work order not displaying. When we select the "record point" option for particular work order it should display the measuring points for that WO. But it displaying '0 measuring points'. As shown in screen shot below.
But in SAP Bach end Measuring Documents are defined for Work Order.
can any one explain :To display measuring points in mobile devices, need any extra configuration in back end? or
What functionality need to activate? How to enable this?
    Thanks
    Chigari

    Hi Chigari
Measuring Points assigned as PRT's in backend application (SAP ECC) should be displayed in Agentry Work Manager 6.1 by standard, if their corresponding technical objects are assigned to either the Work Order header or one of the operations.
Please check if this requirement is fulfilled in your case.
There is no need to modify anything in the Configuration Portal (as far as I know).
The modification we have made is only regarding Measuring Points belonging to other Technical Objects (and still assigned as PRTs).
