LTE doesn't show up in my area (New York, 10028).

1. I checked LTE coverage which clearly shows that it is part of it. (New York city. 86th street and East end ave)
2. I talked with technical support last night after 1 hour waiting and it is not about my device problem (Iphone / Ipad), but weak signal in my neighbor especially lower floors can get less signals. (when I talked on the phone, it was mainly 2nd floor issue since I can get LTE service from high floors)
3. this morning, I walked towards east end avenue (right side is just park) and realized there is no LTE signal on the street level. While I did the face time, I knew it dropped a few times but I didn't know this area didn't have LTE coverage. I believe it is not not only 2nd floor lower level floor issue(inside of the building) all this area of street level doesn't seem to get LTE signal well.
I know Verizon has the best quality of LTE in new york city, but is it possible to add or strengthen the signal on this area?

There are several possible causes for the Black Screen issue
1. Permissions in the Library: Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Include the option to check and repair permissions.
2. Minor Database corruption: Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild.
3. A Damaged Photo: Select one of the affected photos in the iPhoto Window and right click on it. From the resulting menu select 'Show File (or 'Show Original File' if that's available). (On iPhoto 11 this option is under the File -> Reveal in Finder.) Will the file open in Preview? If not then the file is damaged. Time to restore from your back up.
4. A corrupted iPhoto Cache: Trash the com.apple.iPhoto folder from HD/Users/Your Name/Library/ Caches...
5. A corrupted preference file: Trash the com.apple.iPhoto.plist file from the HD/Users/ Your Name / library / preferences folder. (Remember you'll need to reset your User options afterwards. These include minor settings like the window colour and so on. Note: If you've moved your library you'll need to point iPhoto at it again.)
If none of these help:
As a Test:
Hold down the option (or alt) key key and launch iPhoto. From the resulting menu select 'Create Library'
Import a few pics into this new, blank library. Is the Problem repeated there?

LTE no longer showing up in my area

The area in question is the Spotyslvania Courthouse area (zips 22407 & 22553).
The last few days, LTE service has dropped and the phone fluctuates between 1X and 3G. I have friends with iPhones, a Samsung Note 2 and other Android devices having the same issue. I have the HTC One M9. The internet service is very unreliable for all of us in this area. However if we go towards the Central Park shopping center, everything is just fine. So it must be a location problem. And yes, this area has 4G coverage, it's been strong since the day it was turned on a few years back. This is the first time this issue has turned up.
Are you guys aware of this problem?

Well we are back on this issue again. Can someone at VZW check if there is tower maintenance going on in my area (22407/22553)? This is the only area where I'm having problems. Unfortunately this happens to be where I live :/
It is not my phone, others in the area have the same issue. I've had 0 problems with data connectivity for 4 years until last week. I'm tired of seeing 1X and 3G just flipping around on my phone. This morning I did not even have data for an hour. And when 4G does show up, it lasts for maybe 10-20 seconds.

Older iPod doesn't show podcasts when syncing with new iTunes

Although I have had my older iPod for approximately 7 years, I have never had any problems with it until this latest iTunes update. Since the update, I my podcasts are not showing up on the iPod. When I click on "sync" it completes almost immediately (in the past it has taken time for my weekly podcasts to transfer). I think this might have something to do with the new podcast app organization that is used with my iPhone and newer devices that utilizes aps. However, I use my iPod for my daily commute, and if I can't find my podasts to listen to, I am going to be VERY disappointed in Apple's latest change. I am hoping that there is an answer to this problem, but am afraid my old iPod may be be in the process of becoming outdated...
Yes, I did scroll through my albums and artists to see if I could find the podcasts, but without success (unless I am just looking in the wrong place).
Help!! Has anyone else experienced and/or resolved this issue?

Lion purchase doesn't show in app store

When Lion was released I purcased it from the App Store. But it doesn't show in my "Purchases" area. What's up with that? Is it possibly one doesn't need it with the Recovery HD created during install? It gives one the feeling of not having a net under you when you're on the tight wire. I did purchase the Lion on a thumb drive a while back, so I'm not without the ability to reinstall. Just curious as to why it's not in my App Store purchases.

If you're using the same AppleID to login, it should be there. If not, contact the App Store. For what it's worth, your safety net is to make a copy of Lion's installer app after downloading so you don't have to waste time and resources DLing it again, since the dumb installer deletes itself from /Applications as part of its install routine. Alternatively, extract the InstallESD.dmg file from the USB stick, mount it, restore it to a 10 GB partition, and use that. Much faster than any USB method.

Mail doesn't show newest messages

Exchange 2007/2010 Console doesn't show up Exchange 2007 Databases after RBAC Implementation

I have implemented a RBAC model after which Exchange 2010/2007 Console won't show up Exchange 2007 Mailbox Databases.
Everything was working fine up until the Users were members of "Exchange Recipient Administrators" Group.
I have created Custom Roles based on PArent Roles, Mail Recipients, Mail Recipient Creation, Distribution Groups & Public Folders and assigned that to a universal security group "Helpdesk operations". I removed membership for Helpdesk operations
from "Exchange Recipient Administrators" Group and assigned the Custom Roles to "Helpdesk Operations" using the cmdlet below:
New-ManagementRoleAssignment "Custom Role" -SecurityGroup "HelpDesk Operations"
Exchange 2010 console shows Exchange 2010 Databases but not Exchange 2007 DAtabases. Exchange 2007 console doesn't show up any databases on New-Mailbox and simply displays a message "No Objects Found".
Even Get-MailboxDatabase REturns blank output on Exchange 2007 SHell. Please help me with this and let me know in case if there is something that i need to be looking at!

I recommend you use the following cmdlet and check the result.
Get-MailboxDatabase -Server "Exchange 2007 server name"
In my environment, if I don't specify the Server parameter on Exchange 2010 Management Shell, Exchange 2007 mailbox database can't be displayed. If I specify the Server parameter, Exchange 2007 mailbox database will be displayed.
What's more, please check if the account you use has been delegated the Exchange View-Only Administrator role.

I have no idea what may have caused your MacBook to stop working, but from your description it kind of sounds like it may have started before you ran Software Update and installed the new Apps. Just the general slow feeling and bugginess is what tips me off. You said that you weren't sure if you had closed all open windows, that doesn't matter if the computer restarts itself. It automatically closes all other open applications when restarting.
As to your data being retrievable, if when you take it in they do a fresh install of the OS, then no, it will not be unless you want to pay several thousand dollars to a software retrieval company.
I am glad to hear that you have taken into the Apple Store to get it fixed, and that you have all of your purchased music backed up to your iPod. You should be able to just transfer it all back to iTunes once you get your computer back should it be necessary.
As a side note, the proper place for this topic would probably in the MacBook forums, not iTunes since there is no evidence that iTunes started the issue.

Have you copied them from your iPad ? If you are using the 'sync collections' setting then that doesn't copy items between devices/computers, all it does is if you move a book/PDF into a collection on one device/computer then if that book/PDF is also on your other device(s)/computer(s) then it will be moved into the same collection on them.
If you connect the iPad to the computer that you sync it to and do File > Devices > Transfer Purchases then it should copy them over to your Mac's iTunes (that should copy PDFs and epubs that are in the iBooks app, not just actual ibooks) - in the iBooks app on your Mac you might then need to do File > Move Books From iTunes to move them over to it.

First, try a system reset. It cures many ills and it's quick, easy and harmless...
Hold down the on/off switch and the Home button simultaneously until the screen blacks out or you see the Apple logo. Ignore the "Slide to power off" text if it appears. You will not lose any apps, data, music, movies, settings, etc.
If the Reset doesn't work, try a Restore. Note that it's nowhere near as quick as a Reset. Connect via cable to the computer that you use for sync. From iTunes, select the iPad/iPod and then select the Summary tab. Follow directions for Restore and be sure to say "yes" to the backup. You will be warned that all data (apps, music, movies, etc.) will be erased but, as the Restore finishes, you will be asked if you wish the contents of the backup to be copied to the iPad/iPod. Again, say "yes."
Finally, if the Restore doesn't work, let the battery drain completely. Then recharge for at least an hour and Restore again.

Make sure you are entering events on an iCloud calendar, and not the On My iPhone (iPad) calendar or on a calendar from an external account such as Gmail (Google), Yahoo, or and exchange account. Only your iCloud calendar will sync with iCloud.

When I perform a split audio edit, the timeline doesn't show it when the clips are collapsed!

Especially the clip whose audio is 'covering' another... the timeline doesn't show it's audio as extending, and it would appear only that the clip for which audio has been shortened, is still there, or at "0"... what gives? If you uncollapse the audio, or detach it, you do, once again, see the split audio.
