Lte mobile network intermittent connectivity

Hi
I've been having issue with connectivity to my mobile network when i've set my device Preferred Network Mode to LTE (preferred)/WCDMA/GSM. There appears a red cross throught my sin=gnal strength indicator. This happens when im connected to Wifi and when I'm not connected.
Fix is normally to reboot the device.
I've since change the preferred network mode to WCDMA (preferred)/GSM and no longer experience this issue.
I'm using a LTE micro SIM.

Well in that case I would suggest that you try to update/repair the phone software using PC Companion:

In PC Companion, press start on Support Zone > Start on Update the phone/tablet software > Press the blue link that says "Repair phone/tablet".

  • Mobile network state "connecting" but never connects...help please?

    Hi,
    When I try to turn on 3G data on my Fascinate, it never connects. Under settings/about phone/mobile network state it just says "connecting" but never connects, and the "3G" icon never appears in the top right corner of the phone. I've tried toggling the airplane mode, turning off, then turning back on and toggling airplane mode off, but it didn't work.
    I was wondering why I haven't received the 2.3 OTA update yet, and I guess it's because my data is not working.
    Any suggestions?

      Not to make it sound simplistic, but have you pulled the battery out? Shut off phone, pull the battery for 30 seconds, put the battery back in, and then turn it on.

  • Yosemite network - intermittent connection (wired)

    ever since I/we have installed Yosemite on a couple of our Mac machines at work, we have had network issues.
    over night disconnectsrequiring a reboot
    intermittent password requirementsEntering password too soon kicks you from the network (note the network still sees you) waiting long enough and entering the password seems to work.
    Long restarts with progress bar
    Frozen progress bar at 50%requiring Safe boot and disk repair before rebooting again
    Long -very LONG- network loading (loading the list of all network devices such as servers or other computers)
    updates have yet to fix these problems.  figuring out what causes them is impossible as they are all inconsistent.
    I know MANY people are having similar problems, but they tend to note using WiFi. I am on a Mac Pro tower. I'm not sure this is a WiFi problem as much as it is a network or Yosemite problem.

    It's almost never an internet (ISP) problem.  In fact yesterday I was disconnected from our network (servers and email) again... but maintained the internet.
    That would indicate a password problem. though can't explain other times when the internet goes down with it.
    More things worth noting:
    There are a few people in the office on Macs, everyone else is on a PC. PC users don't experience network issues like Mac users do.
    I am the only MAC with a Tower, the others are on Laptops. There are at least two others here that are on Yosemite.They haven't had as much network issues as I have.

  • Curve 9330 mobile network wont connect

    My phone wont connect to my network service provider. its doing it randomly and gives no service for periods of time... i have tried pulling the battery for a hard reset and have turned the connections off and on but it makes no difference... is it just the model? i have had major problems with my last curve 9330 as well with it freezing and locking me out and constantly crashing and reseting and giving me a blank screen... any help would be appreciated....

  • My Thunderbold mobile network doesn't work!!!

    I am having issues with my mobile network on my thunderbolt.  Sometimes it won't even connect to my mobile network (4G LTE) to allow me access to the internet and when I am my wifi range is the only way I can get internet.  Sometimes it won't even connect to my mobile network!! Can someone please help  me!!! I don't know if I have an option pressed that I didn't know about or what, but it is very frustrating and I didn't pay 250 bucks for this phone to not have my 4G LTE mobile network not to work!.

    I have that problem sometimes also. I put an app from the market called LTE OnOFF - HTC Thunderbolt and it's free. The app is by Cunning Logic ans is for the thunderbolt only. It's basically a widget you can add to your Homescreen
    and saves digging thru menus. You use it to turn off or on 3g & 4g or 4g only. I put My phone in 4g mode only and 90% of the time it will stay in 4g mode. I hope this helps.

  • Samsung LTE Mobile Hotspot PRO USB cable connection to Mac

    I am trying to connect a Samsung LTE Mobile Hotspot PRO via USB cable to my Macbook and iMac.  I can see it in the System Information, but it does not show up in the Devices in Finder.  Is there a driver that I need?  Does it exist (yet)?

    So I was able to get USB tethering to work, but I still can't connect to the hotspot as a media device (and view what is on my microSD card and/or the device). 
    Here's how I got USB tethering to work: I plugged into my laptop running Linux, where both USB tethering and mounting as a media device work fine, found the Mac OS driver on the device, copied it over to my Macbook, installed, rebooted, wirelessly connected to the hotspot, configured for USB tethering, went to Open Network Preferences..., connected to "SAMSUNG Mobile Device".   I did all this after talking to Samsung on the phone, where they told me the driver does not exist yet....

  • S860 and X2, Google not connecting on mobile network.

    I live in Sweden. Had my S860 for 3 years and it has been working fine but some months ago it was not connecting on mobile network with crome and play store. Restart and it could work for some time the it was gone again. At the same time Hotspot, skype and OS update is working fine. Got a new sim card i november but it did not help. This was going more and more bad and finally it did not work at all. Tried to reverse OS a few steps back and still not working. So i tought that it was something to do with hardware. Now i bought a Vibe X2. Away from sweden for the moment (Saudi Arabia) but this one does the same when I try to connect. OS update working but Crome says ssl error and Play Store just wont connect. Saw some forums said it might be time and date that was wrong so i tried to change to local format but it was the same. My S860 i was waiting for 6 month before i could buy it (not for sale in Sweden) in Saudi. Haas been very pleased with it so now when it has been messing with me i had no problem to buy a new Lenovo phone. This time just waiting 3 month before i could buy it in Saudi. Hope this is something I can get some help to solve. /Nils

    The S820 has been relesed in May 2013.

    How did you do that?.
    Can you install THIS ->Open the app->MTK Settings->Telephony/BandMode->SIM 1(Do the same for SIM2) and make a screenshot(Power&Volume-) ->post the screenshot here.Thanks

    Hi, I have two Lenovo Smartphones S820 and X2. I had my S820 for a couple of years and it has been working fine until september 2014 when mobile network started to act up, sometimes it worked and sometimes not. Google maps and a few apps worked all the time. Hotspot was and is still working so there is not a problem with my connection to my mobile network. I dont remember if if it was about that time (september) we got the update with new security. Anyway this year i bought a X2 and found out that it is the same with this one. I have put network speed in notifications and i can see that it is sending/recieving but the apps says no connection. Still on X2 google maps and a few apps is working. One app that i have is "myMail" and this is working as far as downloading the messages text but no pictures. Same still if i start hotspot on one of them i can access internet thru this on the other one.
    When is the next version of Android comming for X2? And will it still have the Security app?
    It feels like thet is one of the problems.

  • HT5957 Since upgrade to 7.0.2 no longer able to connect to my mobile network - sim card not recognised

    Quite simply as described above.   Upgraded to 7.0.2 this afternoon.   All was fine until I restarted phone in a place where I know mobile coverage is weak.   Since then I've been unable to connect to my mobile network, my sim card doesn't seem to be recognised by my iPhone 5 and I can't return to a previously reliable configuration because I can't switch off Find My iPhone from the device.   Help!!

  • Blackberry wont connect to the mobile network?

    my phone was working fine until it suddely wouldn't pick up a signal? i've tryed changing sim cards and i've checked with everyone on the same network if there's is working fine and it is what can i do? i've also updated my phone and restarted it multipel times. 

    So on the Manage Connections screen, when you click to connect to your network, what actually happens?
    On thee Manage Connections > Mobile Network screen, what is your Network Selection Mode set to? Network Technology?

    What was the app you are referring to? I'm not aware of anything on the app store that is designed to do that, unless you're talking about an app that was causing a problem...

  • One Z10 works fine, the other has problems connecting to mobile network

    Hi, my wife and I both have Z10's, and we're both on the same mobile network (Wind Mobile in Canada). The wife's Z10 seems to have no problems connecting to or staying connected to Wind Mobile. Mine on the other hand seems to randomly drop the connection, or has trouble obtaining connection, and sometimes ends up roaming.
    The only difference between the two Z10's is that hers is purchased through Wind Mobile itself, and it is locked to their network for the moment. I purchased mine a bit later, and I bought mine directly through Blackberry's online store, and mine is therefore unlocked. What I have to do sometimes is turn off the mobile connection, and turn it back on, and it works after I do that. However, that's annoying, as I'd rather have it automatically retry the network connection so that it doesn't go roaming within my own city.

    If you're passing by a Wind store in the near future, why not drop in and ask if they'll swap SIM cards for you? It could be something with the SIM.
    In the meantime, try resetting your phone. This is equivalent to doing a battery pull and it's usually the first thing I recommend when troubleshooting an issue. Simply press and hold your power button for about 15 seconds until you see BlackBerry on your screen. Don't release the button before that and ignore anything that appears before BlackBerry.

    I have had my Biaonic for almost 2 years and the last 2 days it will not connect to the mobile network.  Any ideas?

    Could be a network outage in your area.  You also could try resetting your SIM card, i.e., turn off the phone, remove the SIM card (be careful not to touch the gold contacts), wait a few minutes, then reinsert the SIM card, turn the phone back on, and allow the phone a few minutes to re-establish a network connection.

  • Connecting my z10 to my local mobile network

    I bought a Z10 and tested it with my sim card from Vodafone UK and T-Mobile UK, and it worked. However, when I insert a Mauritius emtel sim card, the mobile network switches off and when trying to activate, it remains on the 'activating mobile ' status. Is it because the emtel network is not yet a registered Z10 supported network?
