LTSP on Solaris 10: Kindly help
Hi all,
Is LTSP configuration possible on Solaris10? I have many old desktop machines which i would to use it as dumb terminals and configure the solaris server for LTSP. I have tested LTSP on Ubuntu 8.04 and it works.

I stumbled down the LTSP / dedicated X terminal route for years on Solaris, then Mandrake, Ubuntu and back to Solaris.
In the end, I settled on Sun Ray appliances for a few reasons.
* Lower per unit cost than LTSP/X machines. I picked up a batch of Sun Ray DTU appliaces for $6 each.
* Much less bandwidth needed: no boot image and better image compression.
* Automatic sound support. No configuration voodoo needed.
* Much better responsiveness. It feels like a local machine for anything but games, video, etc.
* Lower maintenance. Once set up on the server, just plug in and go. Zero appliance configuration.
* Stupid simple multihead support.
* Persistent mobile sessions. No need to log in and out.
You may want to look at using Sun Ray terminals instead of old PC boxes.

You have very little control over the look of the column headers. In fact you can only manipulate what is available via the Portal Theme.
There is a new Tradeshow Plus theme available in NetWeaver 7.01 which uses a gradiant background for the column headers. This gives them a little more depth:

The other option is next year when NetWeaver Business Client version 3.0 comes out, you will be able to render Web Dynpro applications using the NWBC Smart Client Rendering. This will render Web Dynpro applications using desktop libraries instead of HTML/Browser. This gives Web Dynpro a more SAPGUI/Desktop appears of course.

how to transfer file from ipod touch to i tunes. i have files in my ipod , ut itunes is new so its telling if u sync the ipod all the files will be replaced but no files in the itunes.. so kindly help me how to transfer the files from i pod to itunes......

Your i-device was not designed for unique storage of your media. It is not a backup device and media transfer was designed for you maintaining a master copy of your media on a computer which is itself properly backed up against loss. Syncing is one way, computer to device, updating the device content to the content on the computer, not updating or restoring content on a computer. The exception is iTunes Store purchased content.

i was using blackberry earlier and when i syncronized it with facebook and gmail it added many contacts to my phonebook leading to duplication , now i have got all thoes contacts transfered to my i phone and even downloaded appliciation to delete duplicates in i phone though it is paid application but of no use as it has not recognised the duplicate contact numbers in phonebook but it recognise only exact duplicates kindly help me how i can delete duplicate contact numbers with diffrent names
Just go ahead and go to settings>Facebook> Contacts OFF and do the same with Gmail. THe contacts related to those acct will dissapear. Then when you sync again with Gmail be carefull BCS IT SAYS IF YOU WANT TO JUST ADD THE CONTACTS OR MERGE THEM!!!!

I am using 9iAS(1.0.2.2.1) with 8.1.7 database on the same
machine with Win NT4.When i invoke report from the main from's
link using parameter list as

My Reports are in folder "iReports" which i put in the 9iAS's
report60 folder & also in the report60 folder but when called the
error raised:
"Error:0110 Unable to open the report '..\iReports\glrxx13.rep"
"Error:...Error while opening or saving a
ducument '..\iReports\glrxx13.rep".
I dont know more about virtual dirves & environment variables
setting i.e what & where these should be put.

To send hyper links, you can add the links in the FollowUp Activity.
The content of the mail from the alert framework will be a text mail.
One option would be to check in your SCOT settings if it would be possible to set the Content Type as TEXT/HTML . If yes, then maybe this should be possible.

If it's a credit card then is it registered to exactly the same name and address (including format and spacing etc) that you have on your iTunes account, it was issued by a bank in your country and you are currently in that country ? Problem with select range for a character type field. Kindly Help! Urgent!
Hi Experts,
I have to write a report to pull data from a table BUT000 for a selected range of BPEXT field values in selection screen.
In the table BUT000, the BPEXT field is type char. Now what is happening is that if the user gives a range in selection screen from 1000 to 1010 the query pulls all the records where teh forst character starts from 1.
For example if the table has
BPEXT

101
1000
1001
1002
1005
1010
20
200
2000
Then my query pulls
BPEXT
101
1000
1001
1002
1005
1010
Instead it should pull only
BPEXT
1000
1001
1002
1005
1010
My guess this is because the BPEXT field is of CHAR type instead of numeric.
What shall i do to solve this problem? Kindly help please!
