Lucid keypad locks and gets into a loop

Does anyone else have a problem with putting a pin # in the Lucid to lock the screen? After entering my pin it works at first, but I usually shut it down overnight to conserve the battery - usually the next day when I try to put the pin it, it accepts the pin but after two seconds it asks for it over again. This loop can't be broken, in fact the only way to get past this is to do a hard restart which means it erases all info and you have to reset the phone as if it is a new purchase. This happened more than once and we even got a new phone thinking this was a glitch but it happened again( they also added a new sim card and it made no difference) For now I have no screen lock. If someone had this problem and found a fix, please let me know.

*"Clear the Cache": Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"
*"Remove the Cookies" from sites causing problems: Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
If clearing the cookies doesn't help then it is possible that the file cookies.sqlite that stores the cookies is corrupted. 
You can rename (or delete) cookies.sqlitecookies.sqlite-journal and cookies.txt, if they exist, in the [http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_folder_-_Firefox Profile Folder] in case cookies.sqlite got corrupted.

E52 Keypad locking and calendar issue

Hello. I have two problems with my new E52 (although I do not have other problems described on this forum). So:
1. I wanted to make E52 work like s40 phone in terms of functions arrangement and, long story short, now Menu button is under middle navigation button (Menu is the first icon in the icon shortcuts on the desktop). Under left function key I have Profiles. Because of that I can't lock the keypad the way it was designed which is left_function_key-right_function_key. I know that I can lock it by using on/off button but that is not very convenient.
Is there any way to define other keypad locking sequence? For example like the old phones "Menu" + "*" ?
2. Second problem concerns calendar. I tried to synchronize it with Outlook via OVI and something went wrong. Right now I have many entries doubled and some of them finish in 2030. The option to delete before date in E52 does not work.
How can I clear the whole calendar?

Exactly. And it's not that only I have it set like that. I've read many complaints about it but no solution.

Ok that's weird... I've tried like hundred times using the combination left-right with no luck. I thought that's because I have an application set to the right soft key. But now when I tried this combination it actually worked!!!
I didn't get this part about the "house" button though. Is it another way to lock the phone?

Email changed, old one doesn't exist any more and I can't change it and get into my music

I cchanged my email and before the old one expired, I didn't get my itunes account changed. Now I can't get into my account with my new email. Can't get my itunes music.

I am assuming you are referring to your Apple account.
If you cannot regain access by yourself, the best solution is to contact Apple.
I suggest going into an Apple Retailer and requesting a password reset.

My G4 gets into a loop after installing Loepard

After installing Leopard it worked ok. Turned off system. After start up it goes into a loop with the configuration assistant. I can log in, configuration assistant starts, i fill in everything what is required, come back to login and the same thing happens all over. What to do??

You can't. You will have to restore the phone to remove the passcode.

Did you go to Applications/Utilities and find the upgrader app and then double click it?

My Blackberry Curve 8520 turns itself off, lock and get a white screen.

I would suggest first testing your BlackBerry® Curve™ 8520 smartphone with another battery to rule out any issue with the battery itself.
If you have the same issues when using another battery, please try to back up your data using the BlackBerry® Desktop Software and perform a clean reload of your BlackBerry® Device Software.

Keypad locked and can't unlock Blackberry Bold

I must have accidentally hit a key while the device was in my pocket. I have a display that says "Keypad is locked. Press the lock button to unlock". What button is this? The book says use the "*A key but this does not work. There is no key identified as the lock key. How do I unlock the keypad for this device?

While holding your device and it is facing you, look at the top left of the Bold. You will see a small lock. Press there. That should unlock your keypad. Hope this helps,

On the old phone go into Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars. Are there any email accounts listed here? Such as Google, Yahoo, Hotmail, etc?
If so, tap on each of them and check the 'Contacts' option. If it is turned on, this means that contact syncing is enabled for that account and that your contacts may already be synced to that mail account.
Also check Settings > iCloud and look for the 'Contacts' option. Is it enabled? If so, then it is possible that some contacts could be synced to your iCloud account as well. You can check to see which contacts are in which account by going to the Contacts app on your old phone and pressing the 'Groups' button in the top left corner. You may see several groups here. Uncheck all groups and then check each group one at a time to check and see how many contacts are synced to each account. You may need to add the same mail accounts to your new phone and enable contact syncing to have the contacts from the mail servers sync down to the new phone.

As with movement type 502, a return delivery to the vendor is entered without reference to the purchase order, but the goods issue is posted via an SD delivery

Get out of single user mode? and get into the "normal" screen?? pls help!

Dear Everybody,
I have removed 2 users from my imac (osx 10.7.4) to create more space and had my main user still on the system.
after i restarted the system. a white screen came up? I had no idea what to do. After some checking i think i am in single user mode since there is only 1 user for the computer. PLEASE: how can I go from this white screen (single user) back to my normal log in so I can possible add 1 more user?

Sign Out of your Account... Then.. Sign in using the preferred Apple ID.
It should be Noted that anything Downloaded with a Particular Apple ID is tied to that Apple ID and Cannot be Merged or Transferred to a Different Apple ID
