LUKS&GnomeKeyring&Nautilus=Password gets asked every single time
I have 4 hard drives on RAID5 (mdadm) and I have encrypted the raid device with LUKS. It worked without any problems until couple weeks ago when nautilus started asking for password even though the password is still saved on the keyring. I found out that there is passphrase file, but I can't see the point in only using a unencrypted passphrase file to secure my files. So how can use my account's password to protect my LUKS partition?
I am not sure that I fully understand what you are describing but the following is my experience with both an E52 and an N8.
We have 2 wireless routers in our home both on the same network.
A search always brings up both routers (plus those of neighbours if they are strong enough). That comment is just from general observation during use - I have not sat and performed hundreds of searches as a test to see if it sometimes fails.
The wireless access point that is used is the one given highest priority in the phone setup, provided it is turned on else it uses the other.

If you do a 2nd item the other items stop loading and never continue!!
This is so BAD, I don't understand how they don't have this fixed yet!!

How to have sudo prompts passwd every single time?
So it seems a pre-defined set of timer kicks in when a sudo passwd is input because I can manipulate files in the root space w/o being prompted anymore or even when I quit Terminal.
My question is how can I set this timer, (assuming there is one and I'm just guessing here) to null so that I get prompted for sudo password every single time without exception?
Thanks.You may also want to rethink setting the timer so you get prompted every single time. If you are doing a series of commands it will be very annoying and distracting to have to enter your password each time.
!5 secs or so is a good compromise.
BTW why do you want to be prompted each and every time? It sounds like something is not right in your setup. Sudo shouldn't act like you describe out of the box. -

I have my default browser as Chrome. I noticed I did not have a reply button on your post when using Chrome, I swithched to IE and their was a reply button. Hence how I am now managing to reply!
So it twigged that maybe that also had something to do with the sign of the Creative Cloud App from my notification area icon, seems werid to me but - Sure enough, now it does keep me logged in between sessions.
So are you going to fix so I do not have to set IE as my default browser? -
To get my Iphone 4 to show up in iTunes, I have to uninstall iTunes and then reinstall it EVERY single time I want to connect my device to iTunes. I've tried just using a wi-fi connection and that won't work. It's very annoying to have to go through all that trouble of uninstalling and reinstalling iTunes every time that I need to connect to my iTunes account. I first got this phone in Germany when I was visiting my uncle who was stationed there, he had got the phone from AT&T here in the U.S. while in Germany connecting to his computer to itunes was no problem, it'd connect without any issues. Then when I came home back to the states, my phone would no longer connect to itunes on my computer unless I unistalled and reinstalled, but my computer does recognize my device when I connect every time just itunes does not and I don't understand why it's doing that. Is there any way to fix this? How can I get my device to show up in itunes without having to reinstall it every time?
The ipod is not a backup device. The music sync is one way - computer to ipod. the exception is itunes purchases. Without syncing: File>Transfer Purchases
Copy everything from your old computer, or your backup copy of your old comptuer, to your new one. -
Suddenly, a month or so ago, every single time I open a new page, Mozilla opens a pop-up window. Yes, I have clicked on Tools, etc and set my settings to block ALL pop-ups. Yet, Mozilla has decided to circumvent this setting. If this situation is not handled within a week or two, I shall find and begin using another browser (not that anyone really cares).
What does that pop-up show?

ITunes 7.1 asks for authorization every single time I synch, other issues
Ever since updating to iTunes 7.1 I've had the following problems:
1.) It won't just sync new items when manually manage files is checked off.
2.) When I add one new file, it now tells me that I have to wipe and re-sync the whole thing instead of just updating the current music/video/etc (I'm actually waiting on it to sync my whole library again after it wiped out everything after adding one video file)
3.) When I now try to sync the iPod, it asks me to re-authorize all purchased content every single time.
Are these known issues with the new release of iTunes? Or are these bugs I should report to Apple?
Any insight from my fellow iPod users is appreciated. Specs are below:
Custom built PC running XP Pro, Service Pack 2
AMD Athlon 2800 + XP Processor
1.75 GB of RAM
430 GB Total HD space (3 physical drives)

Your factory-supplied monitor profile, associated with your monitor by the operating system, is bad. It's more common than you'd think.
To avert the error:
Open the Color Management panel of your Windows operating system. In the Devices tab, if it is not already listed [ Add... ] the sRGB IEC61966-2.1 profile and [ Set as default Profile ].
After doing the above, log out of Windows and back in again, just to ensure everything's updated.
Note that the above assumes your monitor is more or less displaying color in the sRGB color space (sRGB is short for sRGB IEC61966-2.1). For many monitors this isn't a terribly wrong assumption.
If you want to ensure you have the most accurate color, consider buying a calibration and profiling device, which (with its associated software) can set your calibration and generate custom color profiles by doing actual measurements from your monitor. You'll want to take some time to get your mind around how color-management works, and that is not a trivial task. It's certainly well beyond what can be taught in a forum post by post.

Post your code, and complete instructions on how you build and execute. Beware that this is a Java Language forum, not an IDE help forum, but some people know some stuff, and don't mind passing it on, so you might get lucky.
If you get totally stuck my advise is to revert to compiling and building at the command line... which allows problems to be unambigiously communicated and therefore resolved "remotely". -
Why am I getting an "error" every single time I send a message?
I keep getting an error while I'm composing mail to be sent. It says "ERROR The message could not be saved." It actually happens every single time I write a e-mail.

GeneveSome base info is needed to give a guesstimate for an answer ... such as computer system & program info ... specifics on each of course. Including versions including dot-numbers of each program, and what the error message says.

ugh...can anyone help me reload itunes on my pc...itunes 10 worked fine but I uninstalled it when i was having problems loading itunes 11...I am not sure how to correct my procedure entry point error...i have used my uninstall programs on my control panel numerous times to unistall my itunes and quik time downloads and every single time i shut down and reinstall them I am getting this same procedure entry point error...is there something else i can do ??? ugh !!!

ITunes asking me to sign in every single time
I am currently using itunes version 11.1.3.8 and it keeps asking me to sign in at least twice every single time I use it. I tried turned off automatic downloads on both my devices reset my machine and....it didn't work I am running out of ideas I had this issue a long time ago with a older version of iTunes and I can't remember how I fixed it.

My iTunes keeps crashing every single time I open the software on any of my PCs and laptops. Once the Itunes match features starts it's ony a matter of a minute or two before the software crashes. I have tons of new songs that I want to sync to my ipod, ipad and iphones but can't get it accomplished. Any suggestions??

Over the past few months I have been having issues every time that I log onto my Hotmail account. My Foxfire has seemed to be "buggy" for the past three upgrades but now mostly everything is working well. When I log onto one of my Hotmail accounts, I can start to check it and within a minute or two, Foxfire will freeze and I have to Force Quit. To my knowledge, I'm not missing any PlugIns, I have not changed anything in my settings, yet it constantly freezes. I have to Force Quit Foxfire every single time I want to check my email. I really like FoxFire and don't want to go back to Safari - Help!

Updated to iTunes 11.0.1 on my iMac 10.6.8 and it crashes every single time on launch.
As above, I foolishly updated to iTunes 11.0.1 after a software update prompt on my iMac 10.6.8, thinking I was doing a good thing getting my machine ready for my daughter's new iPad mini tomorrow.
As it stands, the iPad is going to be such a let down as iTunes is crashing every single time on launch, never my own frustration having no access to my tunes. Thanks a bunch Apple.

What I have ended up doing is
purchasing Snow Mountain 10.8.2 & installing
doing the disk repairs as you stated
rebooted
and eventually things seem okay with iTunes having synced an iPod, viewed playlists and played a load of tunes.
Disappointed Apple have again failed with a piece of software and have taken £13.99 that I needn't have spent but pleased to not be letting the daughter down tomorrow.
