Lumia 1250 keeps restarting\rebooting

hi . i have a major problem with my lumia 1520 , the problem is whenever i charge it it gets 100% so fast while its supposed to be 8% or less. and when i unplug it i can't use it for more than 10 minutes until it shutdown and keeps restarting and showing Nokia name over and over until i plug it again . and even when i plug it it takes 5 to 8 minutes restarting until it turns on finally. so long story short i can't use it without charger and its really annoying me. i tried to hard\soft reset it but it never work.
also the moment it restarts the time\date wont sync it stopps on 22th of may . and i have to edit it manually every time it shutdown and turns on , which is more than 10 times a day. its so annoying and i dont know what to do.
excuse my language tho . English is not my 1st language .

For the time and date, it may take time after the restart for the phone to get the time and date from your network, assuming that your network supports the auto time update which not all do.
The charging issue is strange. You might try a forced software flash using the Software Recovery Tool, if you still have the same problem after that then you should have it checked by Microsoft.

  • Apple TV keeps restarting/rebooting in an almost endless loop

So this is the second ATV I have setup in the last two weeks. All iTunes/Mac OS software is up to date. ATV comes installed with 2.4. I have been able to set it up, stream, sync, control with Remote, etc. However this time the problem occurred about four days into it running smoothly as opposed to one day last time. My problem is it just sits in an endless rebooting loop. I see the Apple, then the menu in which it is frozen for about 5 seconds, then the apple, etc. Anyone else having this problem? Two units, the same problem in two weeks, I can't be the only one right? Thanks in advance for the help.

One more update and it just gets weirder. So I perform a factory restore yesterday and go through the motions and everything works fine just as it did before. This morning I get up and the screen saver is working with all the pictures I have synced to ATV, I am able to view the moves I have synced to ATV. However when I try to play the music that is streaming from my iMac over the wired network it is all connected to, I get a message saying 'Apple Tv cannot play the selected song'. It happens like this with all songs. So, I put the ATV in standby, unplug ATV from the wall, replug it in and voila, we are in the endless reboot/restarting cycle again. Same thing happened the first time this unit failed. I get the cannot play message, I put it in standby, unplug it and then the reboot/restarting cycle happens again. • My 30gb keeps restarting/rebooting and say "please wait. very low battery" help?

ITs has the Apple Logo Then It Make Funny Mechanic Sounds Then Say "Please Wait. Very Low Battery" The Screen Never Lites Up and It Does the same process over again rebooting with the same screens. never has the chance to connect to computer and at one point said www.apple.com/support. i don't the OS

Here's what I did today and so far so good.
I charged the ipod using a firewire cable, which seems to work for charging as does my other auxiliary chargers, car etc. When on these powered chargers the ipod works fine, but no ability to sync.
Did many resets while on the charger.
I put the hold button on and very quickly swapped from the firewire to the USB, low and behold it boots, syncs and charges.
I did a full restore and disabled disk use.
It's syncing now, I'll let you know if it messes up again.

  • New Nokia Lumia 1520 keeps restarting every 5 seco...

    Hi all,
I have just got the phone and I have not installed a SIMcard into it, but if I press the powerbutton, it shows the Nokia sign for 5 seconds and then it becomes dark.
I then connected the charger but then the same thing happens except it restarts itself every 5 second and a vibration alert.
    Is this a damaged device?
    Many thanks for any help!

The SIMcard tray that came with the phone was on the left side and it was not put into the phone when I got it so I thought I could put it in the phone without a SIMcard in it.
It sat wiht a tape. Shall I put it out?
    Is that the case?

  • N8-00 Keeping Restart..

My N8 is keeping restart.. I don't know how to fix this issue.. Can someone tell me how to fix it? It start restart when I just click the camera button and it freeze.. Then I just restart my phone and than it keeping restart and restart... I have no idea how to fix it... Please please tell me if u know how to fix it...

    credit to arcitengi for this
    N8 / C7 dead or
N8 / C7 restarting / rebooting / turning off (or just freezing/hanging) with no new software installed on it, just with what N8 comes out-of-the-box, are very scary because there might be a defective Symbian^3 OS driver that simply hangs the phone.
Please report here if you encounter the hanging / restarting and if yes:
    1. If any applications you have installed on N8 and it was running at the time of hang
    2. On what application happens the freeze?
    3. Did you have GPS turned on (using maps or photo geo-tagging) or any other app that uses GPS?
    4. Are you using WI-FI, usually unless you turn off the widgets from the front pages, Wi-Fi is still on because the widgets need data.
    5. If you are using WI-FI, are you using WEP or WPA or WPA2?
    6. If you are using 3G / Edge for connection (when the freeze happens).
    7. If you had the USB connected to any device (at the moment of hanging).
    8. Is your phone getting over-heated?
These problems with the hanging / the freeze / the auto-restart
need to be investigated so your feedback counts!
If your phone is locked / frozen or dead try:
    1. Press menu button for 8 sec
    2. Hard reset by pressing power on + menu + camera button + volume down button - to reset the phone to factory settings (you will loose all the customization)
    3. If you manage to turn it on try calling this number: *#7370# to reset the phone to factory defaults:
To reset the N8 phone call: *#7370# (The basic software will not be deleted.)
    To update N8 call: *#0000#
    4. Try format drive E:
The problem with N8 (C7) is still under investigation but it could be a mix of few factors:
    1. New Symbian^3 OS communication stack gets unstable when using 3G, GSM voice or GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi and/or GPS data
If  i have helped at all a click on the white star below would be nice thanks.

  • My iPhone 4 keeps restarting it's self & Won't Charge

"APPLE HARDWARE/SOFTWARE PRODUCT PROBLEMS WITH MINE & WORLDWIDE"
    1.
    24-06-2011
As from Friday 24th June 2011 when I purchased my iPhone 4 it Won't Charge, stays in the red & go above 5% even after 2-3+ days no difference charging plus I tried x4 different Apple charges but it made no difference at all to the problems with the iPhone 4.
    2.
    24-06-2011
iPhone 4 keeps restarting it's self every 30 seconds
    3.
    24-06-2011
I do a system restore many times via iTunes
    4.
I do a hard reset by holding the power & home button for 45sec x5 times
    5.
I do a battery calibration by holding the power & home button for 25secas I'm told via online forum
    6.
Just finely get the iPhone 4 updated to latest 4.3.3 OS via iTunes
    7.
I leave iPhone 4 to completely dis charge where it won't start at all & then recharge it where charge holds for a couple of hours but then only to turn itself off when the power meter is reading 64% but won't restart after pressing power button.
    8.
So I pug the iPhone 4 back on its charger for a couple of hours but it still reads only 1% battery power so I do another by holding the power & home button for 25 seconds as I'm told via online forum up to which the battery meter reads 96% as to will not charge no higher than 93-96% but again the seconds later the iPhone 4 again starts keeping restarting it's self every 30 seconds nonstop all over again.
    9.
Nothing has help with this piece of Apple ****.
    10.
Reading more online forum where this is a very common problem with it seem that all iPhone models, iPad’s, iPod 4 it also had similar problems as did mine.
    11.
Just finely get the iPhone 4 updated to latest x4.more times of the iPhone OS via iTunes which has made NO DIFFERENCE to the continued problems with this APPLE PIECE OF CRAP.

I plug it in to my computer where it Shows it’s charging a CHARGING icon in the power bar at the top right hand corner of the screen & then a PowerPoint icon in the power bar at the top right hand corner of the screen where then continues to restart its self every 30 seconds.
    13.
    01-09-2011
Now after a doing a battery calibration by holding the power & home button for 25secas I'm told via online forum. But this time each time it restarts 90% charge, 85% charge, 80% charge, 76% charge & that continues like that again, again & again, what a piece of CRAP…
    14.
    01-09-2011
Again I plug it in to my computer where it Shows it’s charging a CHARGING icon in the power bar at the top right hand corner of the screen & then a PowerPoint icon in the power bar at the top right hand corner of the screen where then continues to restart its self every 30 seconds
    15.
    01-09-2011
I Plug it in & once more I do a system restore via Apple iTunes to see once more if it will make any difference, like that will do anything ‘YEA RIGHT”.. And the answer is “NO WHAT A SURPRISE” Now showing 74% charge, continuing to restart every 30seconds
    16.
    01-09-2011
72% charge, continuing to restart every 30seconds & then showing a PowerPoint icon in the power bar at the top right hand corner of the screen where then continues to restart its self every 30 seconds.
    17.
    01-09-2011
Then this happens during Sync after a do a system restore via Apple iTunes
    18.
Now showing 74% charge & still continuing to restart every 30seconds.
    19.
Won’t charge at all while turned on
    20.
    01-05-2012
Still won’t charge when plugged in plus there is NO CHARGE SYMBOL on the screen to show its charging & so it doesn’t charge...
    21.
    19-05-2012
Now upgraded to iPhone 4 iOS 5.1.1 & it now continues to REBOOT/RESTART every three to five second regardless of whether it’s plugged in or unplugged NOW & the ONLY way I can get some sort of charge into it is to turn off the iPhone 4 completely but only after it already plugged in to the power & after it’s already restarted it’s self again buy holding the POWER BUTTON down plus flicking the Phone shutdown touch screen button across But still not fixing it’s problem regardless of how many times I’ve upgraded the iPhones 4 iOS MAKING THE iPhone or any iPhone so far totally the most useless mobile phone I’ve ever had/owned & I’ve had a lot of Mobiles over the years that when I get them I test every feature they have to the max in order to make sure there are no problems with it but this time I’ve discovered that Apple iPhones are a piece of TOTAL CRAP and contacting Apple is imposable to do & Vodafone is almost just as bad & certainly not buy email HA?

Hi, did you ever solve this problem?
My 1 year old -- ha! one month out of warranty -- iPhone 4 has been having a nearly identical problem over the past few days.
It started by dying completely so I had the battery replaced, thinking it was simply battery issue.
It then worked again for a moment but started doing exactly what you describe, going through a reset cycle (longer than 30 seconds but who's counting). And it felt quite warm.
Did hard reset, plugged into wall charger and MBP USB but the new battery wouldn't even get a full charge (a whopping 92% after nearly two days). It would even lose battery when plugged in if I opened an app. And all the while plugged in, if I left the phone on, it would cycle through these resets. So I turned it off to try to charge it.
Now suddenly, it's dead again. Totally black, and hard reset does nothing. Up until two days ago there was nothing wrong whatsoever with this phone! And I hadn't even installed a new app that could be the root of the issue. No idea whatsoever what caused this.
Any help would be much appreciated!!

Hi, try disconnecting any USB devices.
One way to test is to Safe Boot from the HD, (holding Shift key down at bootup), run Disk Utility in Applications>Utilities, then highlight your drive, click on Repair Permissions, Test for problem in Safe Mode...
PS. Safe boot may stay on the gray radian for a long time, let it go, it's trying to repair the Hard Drive
    Reboot, test again.
If it only does it in Regular Boot, then it could be some hardware problem like Video card, (Quartz is turned off in Safe Mode), or Airport, or some USB or Firewire device, or 3rd party add-on, Check System Preferences>Accounts (Users & Groups in later OSX versions)>Login Items window to see if it or something relevant is listed.
Check the System Preferences>Other Row, for 3rd party Pref Panes.
Also look in these if they exist, some are invisible...

  • HT201394 Why does my iPhone 5s keep restarting? Updating to iOS 8.0.2 mans it worse.

My iPhone 5s keeps restarting. Web pages keep resetting, apps crash and restart or freeze. iOS 8.0.1 has not made a scrap of difference. Have tried switching it iphone on and off. Rebooting, restarting. Turning off background apps from runming. Clearing internet history. None of this works. What's the point of having a smart phone that's a pain in the a...

    Hello EustaceRM,
Force closing all open apps and resetting your iPhone may help prevent the various app issues you've been experiencing.

If your apps continue closing unexpectedly, the next step would be to restore the device.
iOS: Back up and restore your iOS device with iCloud or iTunes

Additionally, the troubleshooting steps detailed below can help stabilize your iPhone, should it continue restarting or powering off unexpectedly.
Verify that the Sleep/Wake button functions. If it does not function, inspect it for signs of damage. If the button is damaged or is not functioning when pressed, seek service.
Check if a Liquid Contact Indicator (LCI) is activated or there are signs of corrosion. Learn about LCIsand corrosion.
Connect the iPhone to the iPhone's USB power adapter and let it charge for at least ten minutes.
After at least 30 minutes, if:
The home screen appears: The iPhone should be working. Update to the latest version of iOS if necessary. Continue charging it until it is completely charged and you see this battery icon in the upper-right corner of the screen . Then unplug the phone from power. If it immediately turns off, seek service.
The low-battery image appears, even after the phone has charged for at least 20 minutes: See "iPhone displays the low-battery image and is unresponsive" symptom in this article.
Something other than the Home screen or Low Battery image appears, continue with this article for further troubleshooting steps.
If the iPhone did not turn on, reset it while connected to the iPhone USB power adapter.
If the display turns on, go to step 4.
If the display remains black, go to next step.
Connect the iPhone to a computer and open iTunes. If iTunes recognizes the iPhone and indicates that it is in recovery mode, attempt to restore the iPhone. If the iPhone doesn't appear in iTunes or if you have difficulties in restoring the iPhone, see this article for further assistance.
If restoring the iPhone resolved the issue, go to step 4. If restoring the iPhone did not solve the issue, seek service.
My issue is still not resolved. What do I do next?

  • ML keeps restarting after installation! HELP!

I have installed ML and after the installation, it keeps restarting itself. Sometimes it will make it to the desktop and other times will just restart when at grey screen. I have rebooted to disk utility using CMD+R and verified and repaired permission and it still did not help the problem. Now I have booted in safe mode, and it says my software is 10.8 (ML). The update does not show up in my app store, what is the next step to reinstalling ML or any other ideas

So under the four options it gives me, pick the reinstall OS X option? Also, could you explain the Archive part in more detail as I have never had to do anything like this before. Thanks

  • Computer keeps restarting after installing windows 8

Can you help my computer keeps restarting after I installed Windows 8?  I have the minidump file zipped

We do need the actual DMP file as it contains the only record of the sequence of events leading up
to the crash, what drivers were loaded, and what was responsible.
You may be able to get the DMP files without crashing by booting into safe mode (F8) with networking.
If you are overclocking stop.  (chances are if you dont know if you are, you are not)a
To enable us to assist you with your computer's BSOD symptoms, upload the contents of your "\Windows\Minidump" folder.
    The procedure:
    * Copy the contents of \Windows\Minidump to another (temporary) location somewhere on your machine.
    * Zip up the copy.
    * Attach the ZIP archive to your post using the "paperclip" (file attachments) button. (if available on  your site, MS doesnt have this)
*Please upload them to a file sharing service like Skydrive or"Rapidshare" and put a link to them in your reply.
Link for how to  upload below.
    http://www.wikihow.com/Use-SkyDrive
    To ensure minidumps are enabled:
    * Go to Start, in the Search Box type: sysdm.cpl, press Enter.
    * Under the Advanced tab, click on the Startup and Recovery Settings... button.
    * Ensure that Automatically restart is unchecked.
    * Under the Write Debugging Information header select Small memory dump (256 kB) in the dropdown box (the 256kb varies).
    * Ensure that the Small Dump Directory is listed as %systemroot%\Minidump.
    * OK your way out.
    * Reboot if changes have been made.
Please also run MSinfo32 and upload the output as well.
To run MSinfo32 please go to start>run>MSinfo32
Go to "file" "save" and upload the saved file with the DMPS

  • Passport keeps restarting itself

    Hello all,
I purchased my Passport this Janunary on Amazon.co.uk (not by Amazon but a seller on Amazon)and started using it in Febuary.
Sooner I found that my phone keeps restarting itself all the time when I am using it or even I do nothing to it, disturbing me and leaving a really poor usage experience.
The restarting thing happens more frequently when the battery is full charged. And the phone turns hot when restarting takes place.
I have contacted to the seller on Amazon.co.uk, they say I should find a authoried Blackberry repairing centre to get it fixed.
And do anyone know where I could find a repairing center in UK?
Or could anyone help me to fix this problem?
    Many thanks.

Go to your Settings > App Manager > Device Manager.
    Tap the bottom CPU tab.
Pull the top dropdown menu to the "last 48 hours".
In the graph, do you see high (tall) spikes around the times of the reboots?
