Lumia 2520 replacement screen

Can anyone please advise me on how to get a broken display replaced on my Lumia 2520 tablet. I haven't been able to find anyone yet. (I live in the UK in the South East).

Unfortunately no Nokia care centres that I have called can get hold of a screen, and have no idea when they will be available.
I was wondering if anyone knew of a more direct route to getting it fixed.
it is looking like I'll be without the tablet for a good while longer :-(

Lumia 930 - Replacement Screen

Is there anywhere in North America that I can order a replavcement screen for a NOKIA 930? I had the phone for a month - its awesome. However, I dropped it on ceramic tile floow and the screen spider webed.
I have someone who can do the replacement workl - I just need the screen.

Mine also landed on the floor, metal rim came in contact with the floor but gorilla glass shattered none the less. Not nearly as robust as my previous 800 or 920. Nokia site to book a repair also doesnt work - giving an error. Boo

Lumia 920: Replace Screen or Not Replace Screen?

Hi everyone,
I got the 920 for a couple of months now, same as some users I have the issue of light bleed from the top of the screen. You can only see it if you look at it from a certain angle, you cannot see it if you look at the screen directly.
Well, I did go to a local Nokia Care Center, they said they don't consider this as a problem, but they can still order and replace the screen for me if I wanted to. Earlier this week the screen came in and they called me to get it replaced.
My question is should I get the screen replaced? A few people said to me that if the light bleed doesn't bother me, don't have the phone opened to replace the screen. The body design of the 920 doesn't look like the type that can open easily to change parts.
Anyway, if I do get the screen replaced, I'll also ask them to replace the battery. I don't know if it's normal, but the battery life is really not that great. I get about half a day, by late afternoon I've to charge the phone again. Basically I'm charging the phone twice a day, and no I don't have many background services running, and I don't have the wifi always on.

If you are bothered by this issue and they will replace the screen under warranty I don't see why you should not do it. I don't know if they will agree to a battery replacement as well though, but you can always ask for it.

Lumia 2520 Screen Jumping Problem

Hi.
My Lumia 2520 (Bought in Jan 2014) keeps jumping back to the start screen even if I don't press the windows button. Problem started a few months ago and it is getting worse and worse. Sometimes it works without problems but every now and then it jumps back to start screen for several times (for example 20 times). It may jump back i.e. from IE, E-mail or Calendar. For example, during writing this message my device has jumped back to start screen (ans sometimes back to IE) for five times... When 'the jumping mode' is on moving the device seems to make the problem even worse. My device is up-to-date. Hardware problem / repair needed?

Replace screen on Lumia 500?

Lumia 500, 800 and 900 series looks kinda similar and I am wonderig if they perhaps have the same monitor?
The glass is cracked on my Lumia 500 and I am trying to get a replacement screen for the phone. I guess the display and the glass is one piece, so I will have to replace both?
I can't find a replacement screen for Lumia 500 on Ebay. It seems hard to get spare parts for the Lumia phones...

There is no such thing as a Lumia 500. Maybe you mean the 520?

Lumia 2520 keyboard and touch screen won't match

I have a very strange problem with my Lumia 2520. I bought the keyboard for my Lumia 2520 and for a while everything worked well. But now more often than not I can no longer use the normal touch screen at all - or the keyboard. If I start the tablet without the keyboard, it might not respond to normal usage via touch and I actually have to insert the tablet into keyboard to have any use for it at all. And sometimes even when the tablet is inserted in the keyboard the keyboard won't respond and the only way to get the blasted thing to work is to use the touch screen.
Has anyone else experienced this sort of trouble? If so, did you simply recover the factory settings and start from there? Or what else did you do?

Lumia 2520 Screen Flickers

I'm experiencing a screen flicker with my Lumia 2520. It only happens when I try to play certain games. I've tried turning off the auto brghtness, but it still does it. Previously, if I closed the app and went back in it would fix it. Now it doesn't. Very annoying. Any suggestions on what to try?

You mentioned that the issue only happens when playing certain games. Are these games downloaded from the Store? If yes, have you tried removing and re-installing them? This step will help us determine if the issue is caused by these games.
Here are some other troubleshooting steps that you may try:
1. Restart your tablet. Swipe in from the right edge of the screen. Select Settings, hit Power, and then tap Restart.
2. Refresh your Windows system. Refreshing your Windows system will reinstall Windows without removing your personal files, settings, the applications that came with your tablet and applications that you have installed from Windows Store.
Swipe in from the right edge of the screen and tap Setting. Select Change PC Settings > Update and recovery.
Under Refresh your PC without affecting your files, select Get started and follow the instructions on the screen.
3. Check if the tablet's SW is updated. See this link for more information: Nokia Lumia 2520 - Update your tablet software.

Lumia 2520 Touchscreen Unresponsive

Just got the Nokia Lumia 2520 from AT&T.
Started up the device.
At the "Region and language" screen, the touch screen is completely unresponsive. I cannot hit 'next' or tap any of the drop down menus.
I've tried restarting the device several times.
Is there a workaround or is this device defective?
Since the device has a preloaded SIM and a partial charge, I don't understand how I could be sent a defective device like this from AT&T.

If restarting does not help then it does look like you've been given a defective device. I suggest you return it to AT&T and get a replacement. Chances are it was never switched on by AT&T to test it when they added the sim.

Nokia Lumia 2520 - stuck in updating mode.

I have a new Lumia 2520, which I began to commission today. I got it to look for updates, and it found a large number to download and install including one for the firmware. It appeared to download them, but then installation of all of them repeatedly failed, with the error message saying that an update was already in progress. I left it for four hours, still the same. Then from experience in commissioning Windows PCs I set it to restart and during the closedown sequence it came up with a blue screen and a message "Keep your PC on until this is done. Installing update 1 of 5".
Nine hours later the same message is displayed. The tablet is plugged into the charger, and is sitting adjacent to the wifi router: it has power and connectivity. Online information suggests that no update to this device should take more than 25-30 minutes. It just seems stuck: won't switch on, won't switch off.
What's wrong, and what can I do about it?

Faulty Nokia lumia 2520 charger

I have learned Nokia has suspended sales of its lumia 2520 due to risk of electric shock from the charger.
I use Nokia lumia 2520 for my day to day work.
My charger so far work well!
Let me know the serial numbers of the faulty chargers and the procedure for replacing.
We have not received any communication from Nokia about this serious fault!

Quoting from the product advisory page: "Microsoft Mobile is today encouraging consumers in Austria, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Russia and Switzerland with the affected charger to register their details so that Microsoft Mobile can provide a remedy that will address the product quality issue. Those consumers with an affected charger will be sent a replacement EU plug to attach to their charger base. We will also send a gift voucher to those people that register on the website by 31 May 2014, to help compensate for the inconvenience caused by this situation."

Nokia Lumia 2520

I have the Lumia 2520 keyboard cover. I have had to replace it within one week of purchase. The reason for this was that some of the keys did not work. Now the same issue is happening to the replacement. More and more letters are not working on the keyboard. I am so tired of it I don't feel like trying to get a replacement. Nokia did a poor job on the keyboard for the Lumia 2520.

AC-300 Charger for Lumia 2520

Hello,
Can anyone tell me where I can buy one of these?
My charger has already been replaced through the product recall but is now broken.
John Lewis (where I bought the device) and my local Nokia Care shop have both said they don't stock this charger. No other phone/tablet shop I have tried does either.
I have tried buying one online but I keep getting sent micro USB chargers which don't fit the device.
I cannot find the link to buy one on the Nokia site or any direct way to contact Nokia (apart from here) to ask about buying one.
My tablet has not been used for over two weeks now as I can't charge it so I appreciate any help.

You could try to contact Nokia support in your country or local Nokia service.

In the past all my dealings with Nokia have been positive but......
The issue of the AC-300 charger recall has been a nightmare. I logged onto the reporting page on the 22nd May 2014 and received an acknowledgement straight away. As instructed I took the unit out of service and waited for the replacement which would be sent within a few days.
I then waited ......and waited ......and waited.
I sent six emails over a period of weeks to the contact centre asking what was going on and got fudged off with a 'you are in the system' reply. There was no contact phone number or address on the emails so I was in limbo.
In the end I contacted John Lewis (where I had bought it originally) and explained the situation. They offered to immediately replace the entire unit and give me £100 compensation for my inconvenience. Thanks John Lewis for such a positive reply - excellent service.
I finally received my replacement plug from Nokia on the 25th June in a small brown box delivered from the Netherlands by DHL. No explanations of the delay given.
And no sign of the gift voucher which I was supposed to get for registering before the 31st May.
Where is the email address of [email protected] which I have been dealing with? A third world country?
A really BAD experience and something that I would never expect from a company like Nokia.

Lumia 2520 - Windows button fires arbitrary

hi, I have purchased my lumia 2520 about 4 months ago. Everything just worked fine but since last month the windows button just fires arbitrary. i do not touch the button, the lumia just arbitrary starts to vibrate and than changes to home screen.
may somebody can help?
