Lumia 2520 Shockwave flash problems

Flash has recently completely stopped working on my 2520, nothing seems to work, ive reinstalled IE, tried everything, it just wont work. What good is a tablet without rich media streaming?
please let me know if anyone has solved this problem, i cant be the only one!

. Windows Phone and Lumia Tablet only supports HTML5. try rebooting your tablet first by pressing and holding the power button.

Lumia 2520 Screen Jumping Problem

Hi.
My Lumia 2520 (Bought in Jan 2014) keeps jumping back to the start screen even if I don't press the windows button. Problem started a few months ago and it is getting worse and worse. Sometimes it works without problems but every now and then it jumps back to start screen for several times (for example 20 times). It may jump back i.e. from IE, E-mail or Calendar. For example, during writing this message my device has jumped back to start screen (ans sometimes back to IE) for five times... When 'the jumping mode' is on moving the device seems to make the problem even worse. My device is up-to-date. Hardware problem / repair needed?

When I try to go to my profile page on my space I get the
following message. Shockwave Flash The plugin performed an illegal
operation. You are strongly advised to restart Navigator. I am
using windows xp and running navigator 7.2 I am running flash
player 9.0.28.0. This also happens if I run internet explorer. Can
anyone help? Please be very specific on how to make corrections,

hey there noob here =p
i had google chrome for a while now and was working fine even after the updates but i then started to notice that after one update the videos wouldnt play right or they would become out of synced... like i would be watching a youtube video and then pause it and the picture will still continue to play and not stop...i ignored it for a while and then decided to use firefox but after updating firefox and the flash on there it would do the same which idk why?on firefox i downgraded the flash and it works like normal but on chrome you cant uninstall flash nor downgrade so im stuck
in my plug ins i have 3 flash the new one,old,and the pc version i tried disableing the other 2 and leaving the new one but nothing fixes it so i need help on what can i do to fix it or am i the only one with this problem?oh and im on the latest update of chrome....

Lumia 2520 WiFi connection problems - dhcp fails

I have problems connecting to my work wifi network, the tablet connects to the network but fails to get IP address with DHCP. It actually fails to find DHCP server. If I enter the IP settings manually - everything starts working.
Moreover, I have the same problems with my lumia 920 here, it fails to connect at all.
All other devices in our office including android, iphone, ipad and windows notebooks are connecting just fine.

I have the same problem, and while I have no solution I have found that if you put it into Airplane Mode, turn the Wifi on then take it off Airplane mode you dont have to reboot. It seems to happen only with my router at home when I am a fair way away from it (it goes through walls too). My wife has a 920 and it doesnt happen to her at all! Seems a obscure issue from my reading - do you have a first release 920 like I do?

Shockwave flash keeps giving problems

I have read all the articles about the shockwave flash problem but it keeps giving problems, saying it is busy or does nt react anymore, continue or stop.
If I continue nothing happens, if I stop the web-page disapears.
Should I use another browser ? I'm fond of Firefox but what to do?
I'm using W 8.1 and the latest Flash (15.0.0.152)

You can check for problems with current Shockwave Flash plugin versions and try this:
*check for updates for your graphics drive drivers<br>https://support.mozilla.org/kb/upgrade-graphics-drivers-use-hardware-acceleration
*disable protected mode in the Flash plugin (Flash 11.3+ on Windows Vista and later)
*disable hardware acceleration in the Flash plugin

Reset prams fixed permissions
safe boot opened new user account
did hard drive apple disk check cleared caches
used applejack (this helped a little - for a period of time)
clean installed slowly reinstalled items
so after weeks of slow deduction (installing apps programs uninstalling cleaning etc) I have now been able to fix the problem
delete adobe flash - adobe photoshop elements 8 and shockwave. Problem gone!
But clearly not solved.
cannot reinstall later or older versions of flash/shockwave onto my computer or in anyway install elements because the problem comes straight back.
Help?

Well you are being thorough on your troubleshooting however this looks like an Adobe issue. Have you posted the problem in an Adobe forum?

Hello,
I am getting the "Shockwave Flash is busy or not responding" message, visiting the site on which I am working on for one client. Site is http://www.puntacanajustsafari.com/
I have installed one flash widget for weathercast and imediatelly after installing I have got the message "Shockwave Flash is busy or not responding" - browser, buttons, scrolling - everything simply freeze! Few minutes just standing by, not responsive, and then eventually page start to scroll normally. Since then I changed widget position, made it to show on tour page only ( http://www.puntacanajustsafari.com/punta-cana-jeep-tour/ ) but after facing the same problems with flash thing I have removed it completely and installed one other widget and made separate page for weather information, that seems to work nicely (for now).
Problem is that I am still geting "frozen" page when visiting home page and tour page, even after clearing the page cashe and removing widget. This is happening on both browsers that I use (firefo and IE) so I am partially sure that is not a browser problem. This is first time happening to me, if somebody can figure out what to do, I would appreciate it.

Clear your browser's cache and cookies. I'm not seeing any issues in Firefox, Chrome or IE

Connection problem with Nokia Lumia 2520 tablet

I found the problem when connecting Nokia Lumia 2520 Tablet to Linksys EA4500 router WiFi network "Wireless-N" mode. TheInternet and local network connection disappears after a few minutes, the ping test fails. In "Wireless-A" mode (5 GHz) and "Wireless-G" mode (2,4 GHz) connection is normal, but i need more speed!
When i have connect this tablet to the other routers in mode Wireless-N connectivity problems do not occur.
Reset the router and the tablet to the factory defaults does not help.
Router firmware version - 2.1.39.145204
Nokia Lumia 2520 have Qualcomm Atheros AR6x04 WLAN Adapter

Disable 5ghz wireless and use only wireless N.

Shockwave Flash Downloading Problem

I am using a very slow dialup internet connection. What takes most only minutes to download takes me all day. I run a Windows XP Pro SP3 operating system and a Firefox 35.0.1 browser. My main problem is that with your downloader/installer I can't maintain a download connection from Adobe long enough to download any version of Shockwave Flash. Firefox recently updated and now the Shockwave Flash plugin needs to be updated but it says the update has been blocked so I went to Adobe to try and get the update downloaded. It seems I am forced to use the Adobe downloader/installer instead of the one I normally use (DownloadThemAll). How can I get the update?

Shockwave Flash 11.3.300.271 problem with Firefox 14.0.1

It's more of an annoyance than a problem, but if I enable the Shockwave add-on, the search field in Google (my default start/home page) isn't automatically selected. I have to mouse click in the search field, and then can start typing my search word(s). This was never the case before. When I started Firefox, it would go to my Google start page and the cursor would be in the field and I could just start typing. I know it's a minor annoyance, but having to click the mouse EVERY time I start is unacceptable, especially since it doesn't have to be that way. If I disable shockwave flash, it works as it always has, but then certain videos won't play on various websites.

The "Firefixer" download link in the previous reply was reviewed and removed by a moderator yesterday. Anyone who received that link in an e-mail notification '''should not''' download and run the FireFix.exe file.

If the OS is not the issue then have a look at the 1520..
The 2520 and 1020 is really apples and oranges, the 1520 is a huge (6") phone so you get the larger screen and it will make calls as well. Especially if your main use is web and email I'd say the 1520 woudl be a perfect compromise. The usual phone limitations (no Flash support for one) apply obviously..

Is it a permissions problem? Here's another way.
(1) In a My Computer or Windows Explorer window, open this folder:
C:\Windows\SysWOW64\Macromed\Flash
If that folder does not exist, then you are using 32-bit Windows, and you can open the following folder instead:
C:\Windows\System32\Macromed\Flash
''(Note: This folder exists on both 32-bit and 64-bit Windows, but on 64-bit Windows Firefox uses the Flash player in the SysWOW64 folder instead.)''
(2) Check for a file named mms.cfg:
(A) ''If mms.cfg exists,'' drag it to your '''Documents folder''' where you can edit it without being bothered about administrator privileges
(B) ''If mms.cfg does not exist,'' open your '''Documents folder''', right-click > New > Text File and name the new file mms.cfg
(3) Open mms.cfg from Documents into a text editor such as Notepad. Add this on its own line (I put it last):
ProtectedMode=0
Save the file and close Notepad.
(4) Hold down the Ctrl key and drag the mms.cfg file back to the Flash folder to make a copy there, keeping the original in Documents
This change should take effect the next time you restart Firefox.
Hopefully that works around the permission issue.
