When i click HERE DRIVE it link to store and the Apps show ! This app is not available for your device. Tab for more info.

As previously answered on this forum hundreds of times in the last few days, an update for Here Drive + was released a recently. Unfortunately there was a problem with the update and it has been temporarily pulled pending a fix.

Cant install any driver for Hp NVidia gt230 on Touchsmart 600-1055

Last few years I bought a HP Touchsmart oversea when I travelled to US then I brought it back to Australia. First couple months it was fine then one day I turned on the PC then It is just black screen after the window 7 boot screen then restart after few seconds. It keeps repeating that process unless I go to Safe mode and remove its NVidia driver and replace with window standard driver ( Video Controller VGA compatible) then I can boot up the window normally but cant use any program that require the delicated graphic card. I have tried hard to find its driver from every resources that I can find on the internet including Hp website and NVidia webiste but still again no luck. for 3 years I still cant find the driver for this that can make it working. What happened? is it my graphic card physically fault or because the software isusse? I forgot to mention that I even try to use the DVDs that I orders from HP USA and try to factory recovery but it is still having the same issue. I try to install many different version of window in cluding win 7 32&64 bits, Window 8 pro 64 bits then STILL NO LUCK. So could anyone please tell me what happened and how to fix it cause as I am aware that HP australia not support for HP USA product and I dont want to see my expensive desktop become a brick.

I understand that you are having issues where you cannot use the higher end graphics card installed in your HP TouchSmart 600-1055 Desktop PC. The issue you are describing appears to be a physical issue and I think it would be best if you contacted HP technical support for repair options.

Now just because you purchased the computer in Australia does not mean your warranty is not good in the US. I am providing you with a link to theHP Global Warranty and FAQs, which states the following:
HP Global Warranty covers HP products at the level of standard warranty offered in the country in which it is used. For example, a product purchased in country "A" and moved to country "B" receives the current warranty coverage provided by country "B" (if that product is marketed or supported in country B)
This means that your computer receives the same treatment in the US as a computer sold in the US. I would recommend you contact HP Technical Support to have your issue addressed.

Lumia 520 cant connect to Wifi

For heavens sake .Lumia 520 is a smartphone that cant connect to wifi. very useless. I have tried all those steps abt settings on the router without success. i love my fone but i feel disappointed with it..Feel like i can return it to shop

Is it just your wifi that you have problems connecting to or is it all wifis? What router settings have you checked? Router settings can be a complex maze but there is no reason why the 520 should not connect unless there is an issue with your specific handset.

Bluetooth Handset - Lumia 520 cant find headset

I got a plantronics M50 Bluetooth headset and my Lumia 520 can't find it. Why won't it connect? Its works for my other devices that have Bluetooth.

Are you able to connect another Bluetooth headset to the 520? Disable the Bluetooth on both devices and enable them. Check if the phone will be able to find the Bluetooth headset this time. You may refer to below link for the Plantronics M50 user manual.

Cant install device driver software, install device driver software

have recently updated my ipad to iOs 5 and now all i have is the 'connect to iTunes' page even when i have connected
it. my windows computer then tries to install device driver software but it canno be located .... really stuck and help would

Sounds like your i tunes set up on the windows machine is messed up. Suggest you reinstall itunes again. Drivers etc should be in the package. A fair number of windows folks have firewall related time out issues, so turn the firewall off along with your antivirus when you do the i tunes download.

Cant Install Software Driver for HP PSC 1310

My software was not working correctly, so I deleted it in add & remove programs.
I cant install the new downloaded software.
After downloading the software, it extracts, but then nothing happens.
I do not get the information box as shown in the videos on this page

Cant install Device driver

Windows shows my ipod. but not itunes. it started showing it once but quit.now it says it cant intall device driver software in the device manager. it wont restore or anything. the screen just says do not disconnect. i even left it over nite..do i need to reinstall the software in my ipod or what..and my computer has all the necessary updates..HELP!!

Cant install mysql driver

i'm very new to java (just curious)
i'm following this tutorial on databases and at certain point i've to use the driver
i went to mysql download this:
mysql-connector-java-3.0.9-stable wherein is the .jar file.
i googled a lot in forums and also read the readme and the sun One Studio 4 update 1 (the version i'm using). Cant find a hint on how to solve it, because when i try to compile i get this error:

Why i cant install atheros driver?

i have tecra a8 ez8412
i downloaded the driver from http://support.toshiba.com/support/driversResults?freeText=144744
i downloaded Atheros Wireless LAN Driver for Windows Vista / 7 (32bit/64bit)
and Atheros Wireless LAN Driver for Windows 7 (32/64)
but i "Can`t" install both of them
now in my device manager, i have installed intel(R0 pro/1000 PL network connection and intel (R)PRO/wireless 3945ABG network connection

There are several wireless drivers listed for your model - Atheros wireless lan, Atheros Mini PCI/PCIe Wireless Lan, intel wireless lan, Intel 802.11a/b/g/n, a/b/g, b/g PCIe Mini Card driver, Intel PROSet Utility.
That model could have any of those parts, and will use the drivers provided for each one. You said you have intel proset on your device manager and you sound like they where not there before, possibly windows or Microsoft update installed them for you. Does your wireless work now ?

Here Drive stuck on 'Looking for GPS"

Running version 3.0.4087.0 on Samsung Ativ S (in Canada). Nokia Drive seems to find my location without any issues for a short period of time. Later when launching it just shows "Looking for GPS" in the status bar and cannot find my location at all.
Location services are turned on for the phone and the app. All other mapping apps on the phone (including Here Maps) find my location very rapidly.
Yesterday I tried uninstalling and re-installing Here Drive but the "Looking for GPS" error is back again today.

Yup, me too. I love the Here Drive (on my Lumia 810), and it's been working perfectly well until last week. Now it's stuck on looking for GPS and showing as start location the place I was last week when I used it the last time.
Please, need to get this fixed! Nokia MAPs work just fine but not HERE Drive.
I have latest updates on both the phone and my Here drive. I uninstalled the app, and re-loaded it yesterday from the app store. Same thing again. Thought it may be due to being inside of the building, went out, changed locations, drove a bit and nope still not working. It's stuck. I've left it running for more than an hour and no luck what so ever.
A colleague with Lumia 920 has the same problem.
Not question of having a case covering the antennas either, his does not have a case, I took mine off the case, and the result is still the same, looking for GPS.
Please get this fixed ASAP!

Can I turn off the background task for HERE Drive+...

Hello,
I have installed on my new Lumia 1020 the application HERE Drive+ and I have noticed that it starts up a background task. Since I'm not using HERE Drive+ on a daily basis I think I could save some battery if I turn off this background task and it is started automatically only when I'm using Drive+ application. Can I do that?
I went to Settings->Applications->Background tasks and tried to block HERE Drive+. So far so good but when I tried to set to ON (checked) the option "Turn background tasks back on for this app the next time I open it", HERE Drive+ application was automatically unblocked. Is this normal?
I want to know if I can stop the background task for HERE Drive+ and have it automatically started up when I open HERE Drive+ application.

It may be something I missunderstand. So if I go to Settings->Application->Background tasks and tap the button "Advanced" I see a list with many applications, and among them there is HERE Drive+. Above this list it is written "These apps can run in the background, and you may not be able to block all of them".
Does this just means that HERE Drive+ application is allowed to run in the background? Do I see in this window the list of all background tasks currently running or it is just a list with the application that could run in background?
Right now I don't have any application running. If I keep pressing on back button the app card list is empty.

Amber update is not working in my lumia 520

i have installed new update in my lumia 520 .it installed fully and successfully but i cannot find of new features in my phone !!?? features like call+sms filter ,radio and so on.., how can i solve this problem.

Perhaps a more helpful answer is to install "Lumia System Updater". That app will allow you to check and update all the system apps on your phone (such as "extras+info", "about" etc.) that are required for the Amber/GDR2 update to be "seen".

Here Drive+ Beta & Here Maps do not activate on my...

Hi,
I have installed Here Drive + Beta and Here Maps on my Nokia 620, when I click on them to activate they just return to the app list. I have un-installed and re-installed several times over various days and it still does not load. Important to note, Here Transit and other navigation apps work but not Here Drive + Beta and Here Maps! It's very frustrating, can anyone suggest what's going on?

In the end I gave up and proceeded to do a hard re-set back to initial factory settings – low and behold it now works fine, although I haven’t fully tested it on the road.

Here Drive (navigation) problem

I'm from Sri Lanka. and I'm using Lumia 925. With my all symbian phones(N8, X6), the drive app works perfectly with voice, but in Lumia its not. When I click drive it, it says Your route runs through a country where navigation is not support. I downloded Sri Lankan map and its up to date. So is it mean with Lumia we cannot use here drive ?
