Lumia 520 music player gets paused automatically!

I got this problem from today morning. Whenever I play any music file on my speakers it gets paused automatically after a few seconds of playing and when I play it again it gets paused again. I have been facing this problem only while playing music on my speakers whereas when I play it on my headphones it works perfectly fine. Can anyone please suggest a solution. Thank you

strange indeed mate, shouldn't be the case. have you checked that you are up to date with the latest firmware for your device, and also that you are up to date with the latest Nokia system app updates from the Store? also try performing a soft reset, and check that your back cover has no damage etc.

Hi folks
I have a problem with my nokia lumia 520. When I am playing music with my headphones the music gets paused. It has been happening for the last week. It works fine on speakers but not with headphones. I have tried several headphones, did a soft-reset, uninstalled nokia music, but nothing is working so far. Phone wasn´t crashed or dropped to the floor, it is happening for no apparent reason. Any ideas?

Hi, Sedejaballevar. What's the model of your headphone & the other headphones you've tested with your Lumia 520? Does the issue happen when transitioning from one song to another or randomly during a song? Are your songs from your phone memory, memory card, offline mix or through online source (online mix)? Keep us posted.

Lumia 520 - music player

Hi. Ok, so i enter the standard music player switch to songs ( i like to see all songs while listening like a winamp playlist) but there is a # and underneath him there are like 100 songs called "Unknown artist" so i have to move down down down (takes like 10 sec) and then the songs start to be arranged by the alphabet. How can i remove or hide the # thing cause is very frustarting?

LUMIA 520 MUSIC APP FAILING TO UPDATE

Can anyone please assist me on getting my Lumia 520 music app update itself on wifi. For a long time now it always gives an error message. Other apps are updating whenever there is a new update.

What is the exact error message that you're getting when you try updating the Music app? Have you tried downloading the app update via mobile data connection? This is the default Music app and not a downloaded one, correct?
Make sure that the phone's SW is updated. If you're phone is already running the Lumia Cyan SW, make sure that Update apps automatically and Only get updates over WiFi are both enabled under Settings > swipe to applications > store.These settings will allow automatic update downloads for all apps you've installed in your Lumia 520, though some apps have their own inbuilt auto update features.

T2 ultra Dual sensors stops working. Music player gets freez

Since upgrading to lollipop. I am facing these problems. All my phone sensors stops responding....Accelerometer,proximity,Auto rotate..... but after restarting my phone they start working... But again after 3 4 hours they again stops working. Also the music player gets freezed in betwwen of a song for like 15 sec and again start the playback. I have done repairing 2 times through Sony bridge. Formatted my phone 3 times. But this problem is not going away. I am never ever going to purchase a Sony phone again in my life. Once I was a Sony admirer... Why did you do this to me.

E66 Music Player gets stuck and end of some tracks

Hi,
I'm trying to use my E66 as a music player when I work out, but it gets to the end of some (but bizarrely not all) tracks and in the last 5 or 6 seconds will start looping the same short (.5sec) piece of a track, and will continue to do that after the time has hit 0 and not move on to the next song. Some tracks seem to be ok, but others don't. The player and the phone haven't crashed - I can move to the next track by clicking the skip track button, or just pausing and playing again. The music is stores on a MicroSD, mostly in MP3 format if that helps anyone diagnose the problem. It's driving me nuts - can anyone help??!

Usually you get a dialog asking if you want to resume from where you started off, or play from the beginning if it was played on the machine before. If you aren't, it might be hiding behind your player window. Try to reduce its size to see if it is hiding. If you've never played those discs on your computer before from any other vendor, and this a machine you bought from Apple, dust might have gotten on the lense in the drive to cause this problem. Take it in for service in that event.

Lumia 920 - Music Player HELP!

After being forced to wait until YESTERDAY I finally received my Lumia 920 and I'm slightly disappointed with the music player.
I've been a Nokia user since the N95, moving onto the N96, N8 and now finally the 920. The N-series were choc full of bugs and shortcomings but the music player on all of them worked exactly as I would have liked.
So I have a few questions re the music player on the 920
Is there a way of pinning the "Now Playing" controls to the start? Instead of having to navigate through Nokia music, waiting for it to load, tapping my music, finding the artist and album and song just to skip a track?
I know you can access some controls by locking the screen and re-pressing the lock button but this seems like a ridiculously convoluted way round for such a fundamental control.
I essentailly want direct control of my music from the start screen.
If this isn't possible with the default player can anyone recommend a decent third party app?

The volume shortcut helps but I cannot find an option to actually stop the songs from playing. I have to press the pause button and come out of the music player to stop it playing. Surely there must be a 'Stop' option somewhere.

What is the Lumia 520 Music Subscription period..

I recently bought a new lumia 520 and the music account activated saying "Nokia music unlimited subscription activated."
1)What is the correct period of such subscription?
2) when i logged in again , it said "Subscription ends on Jan 01".
That is just like 2 months.!!!!!

Where are you currently located? Where did you buy your phone? Did you previously used your Nokia Music account with other supported devices?
The Nokia Music has 3 months, 6 months or 12 months subscription period depending on your device as well on the service type (Nokia Music + or Nokia Music Unlimited). If you're using an active Nokia Music account on a supported Nokia phone, and then registered it with another device, the remaining days or moths of your subscription will be carried over from the original phone to the new one. In case that the Nokia Music subscription expired, you'll be given an option to renew it if you would like to.

Music player on DroidX automatically coming on

The built in music player on the phone at random times will turn itself on which started yesterday. I will go into it and there is no stop button, just a pause. I will pause it long enough to go into settings to force close it, but a few seconds later it will come back on again. It has done it during calls, texts, or even when I am not doing anything on the phone....and is driving me crazy.
I have tried powering on and off the phone, and have taken the battery out 2 or 3 times - nothing is helping. Any suggestions before I call Tech Support later?

I want to thank Cody21for providing some great suggestions. I also have the Droid X phone and have experienced music playing on its own. What I discovered is that because this is a touch screen phone I have to make sure I lock my screen to prevent the accidental pushing of buttons. Even if the phone is in your hand you can still accidentally select applications. [AS3] Music Player - Play/Pause

At the moment, I am attempting to make a music player that will play a specific song of my choosing.
I am stuck at the part where you can pause the sound, and then play it in the same place.
I have tried many things such as using the timer utilities.
Right now, when I pause it, it stops, and when I press play, it plays from the beginning.

Since there is no explicit pause method - when you pause store the position property of the channel object - and then when you play, use the position to play from.

Music player turning on automatically

At random, when I swipe up to access Control Center, it says my music player is on and playing a random song. Even though I havent opened my music app. Anyone else know whats going on??

There are lots of people that have reported this happening. As far as I know no one has come up with a solution to this. Lot's of theories but no solution.

Note: MixRadio+ subscription is currently not available in India and China.

I bought a 520 2says ago. Created a nokia account, everytime i try using the music app to download a new song says we had problems registering your device for nokia unlimited music services.

the nokia unlimited music is not available in all countries.
