My bluetooth headphones/-set problem?

So, I bought these bluetooth headphones with a mic, I pair them with my Macbook.
It says I can use it as audio in and audio out.
But when I go to System Preferences, the headphones appear as Bluetooth Headset and Bluetooth Headphones. The microphone won't work unless I choose the Headset, but then the bluetooth connection crashes.
When I go to audio-in, I see my built-in microphone and the bluetooth microphone. The problem comes when I choose the microphone. It gives me an error Bluetooth sound failed.
I have to pair it every time just to get the normal sound to work, but my Mac just won't connect to the microphone?

The type of headphone you describe can be used either as a headset or headphones, that's why you're given that choice. Connecting as headphones will give you better sound quality for music, whereas connecting as a headset will enable the mic for telephony, but the sound quality will be degraded.
In addition to selecting the bluetooth device option, you may also need to go into the sound settings in System Preferences with it connected and make sure it's selected as the audio input and output device.
Otherwise, bluetooth dropouts are an unfortunate but fairly frequent occurrence with OS X bluetooth. You might try deleting it from the bluetooth devices list and then pair it and go through the setup again.

Iphone3 bluetooth vehicle connection problem

My iphone establishes a bluetooth connection to both of my cars (Kia and Toyota). It used to work fine. Now, I can search contacts, dial and hang up, but my phone won't go hands-free on either one (and on my phone I only have a "speaker" option, not an "audio source" option during a call). I can also start songs on it from my car as an auxiliary device, but it won't play through the car speakers. My wife's phone works fine in hands-free mode with both cars, so I know it's not the cars that are the problem. My phone is up-to-date with system downloads.

My iphone is 3g with OS 5.1. My wife's iphone is 4g. My phone used to work fine with it, and my wife's still does. I only discovered this problem a few weeks ago. I don't know if it coincided with the OS upgrade, but it could have since I don't use it frequently in my car and it may actually have arisen a couple of weeks before I discovered it. I have a 2011 Kia Sorrento and a 2011 Toyota Sienna.

BB 8520 Bluetooth & Headphones (S9HD) Problems

Hi Everyone,
I'm having some problems with bluetooth on my BB 8520. The problem seems to be that the bluetooth don't have so much range. Because I put my headphones (Motorola S9-HD) on and put my BB on my pocket and the music goes out. If I take my phone from my pocket and put it close to the headphones, the music sounds great.
I test the headphones with my friend BB 8520 and there are no problems there.
It seems to be my phone.
I have just upgrade the OS to v5.0.0.592
Micro Edition Bluetooth Version : 1.1
I don't know what else to do.

Hello echi24 and welcome to the BlackBerry Support Community Forums.
You can try doing what is called a "clean appload" as shown in KB11320.
Be sure to back up your BlackBerry before doing the reload as all user data will be deleted.
After the load completes, before restoring any data, test the sounds with the earphones and the BlackBerry.
It is recommended to selectively restore data so the issue doesn't reoccur
KB10339 will show you how using Desktop Manager 5.0.1 and earlier and KB23680 for 6.0

Nokia N78 Bluetooth A2DP Connection Problem

Nokia N78 is said to support A2DP Bluetooth connection but how can I turn on the A2DP Bluetooth connection? Can anyone help me?
I have no problem pairing and connecting my N78 to SONY DRC BT-15 but the sound I hear through the SONY device is definitely not A2DP at all. The sound sucks. When I connect my SONY DRC-BT 15 with my MacBook, I can choose to listen by Mono or Stereo Mode, and when I choose the Stereo Mode(I guess it's what we call A2DP), the sound through the SONY device is good.
So how can make the SONY headset to connect to N78 via A2DP to listen to good music?
I have been trying for hours. This problem makes me crazy.
I would really appreciate your help.

Moto Bluetooth headphones connect but skipping makes then useless

After upgrading to Leopard, I was excited to be able to use my Moto Headphones, but after pairing them the skipping is so bad they are pretty much useless. I am a Mac newbie, os maybe I am missing some important setting, but thus far I have not been able to fidn anything that helps. I have a Mac Mini and am also using BT Keyboard and Mouse (both Apple). I have seen some issues with having multiple BT devices connected. Is it not possible to use all 3 of these devices at the same time? If it comes down to it, I guess I could do without the keyboard and mouse (ummm, not). I love having the wireless KB and Mouse, and I am not willing to part with them, but it would be nice to get this working.

Nobody else has this issue?

Bluetooth mouse connection problems

Having a great deal of trouble getting my bluetooth mouse to work. Various parts of the system seem to giving conflicting info. Get "can't pair" and it's shown as paired in the BT Preferences pane but won't connect.
Currently it's showing paired and not connected.
Help appreciated.

After upgrading to ios6 on iphone4 & ipad4, now i cannot pair them with bluetooth or even use the hotspot connection. Anyone knows what is the solution?

I'm assuming you are talking about accessing Pandora through the Lexus Enform App Suite? If thats the case there is an open ticket and a workaround is to open up iHeartRadio, then go back to Pandora and it should be playing.

Bluetooth Headset Connection Problems

I'm on a G5. In both Tiger and in Leopard, my plantronics 510 D won't work with my G5. With my powerbook G4, it works fine. The new excuse the G5 gives me after Leopard is that "no configurable services found on your device"
I would sure like to use my skype with my plantronics. Any suggestions? I'm using a D-link usb add-on, and I've already updated firmware.

Sounds like my problem too. Running Tiger (fully updated it). I succedded in registering my Plantronics Voyager 520 Bluetooth headset. Then, as a result of some static. I deleted it intending to reinstall. Since then it's no longer discoverable. I believe I saw something on Bluetooth delete problems, but I can't find any information

Jabra Bluetooth Headphones pairing problem

I wrote jabra about my problem with my headset sounding like crapola when paired to macs, but sounding grand when paired to iPhone, and got this back from tech support:
Sounds like your unit it's not pairing correctly with the macs (like it's pairing HSP/HFP only). We cannot troubleshoot the PC's and it sounds like there's nothing wrong with the BT3030.
I have no idea what that means or how to fix. Any ideas? thx!

You can't buy the part from Creative as a spare.
I'm not sure how compatible other parts might be, but that would be a question for someone who really knows a lot about this area of electronics.
The Creative repair for this is likely to be expensi've, but the problem is most likely a broken solder connection than an actual new headphone socket. So if you know someone experienced in surface mount soldering you could probably get it repaired just with this.

Windows Phone does not support file transfer through Bluetooth, you can however use Skydrive, attach images and Office documents to a mail or transfer media files using Zune.
Custom ringtones can be used as general or contact specific tones, more information can be found here.
Windows Phone synchronizes contacts and calendars live and in real time with Outlook without the need to actually have the phone connected to your PC running Outlook by using a Wi-Fi or Mobile data connection. You can find more information on this here.

Problem with video audio sync using Bluetooth headphones

I have recently bought a pair of beats studio wireless headphones but when using my ipad there are sync issues with video and audio. Many apps have the problem but sky go seems to be the worst followed by YouTube. Apple video is not too bad but not perfect.
