Lumia 610 doesn't display notification for Outlook...

Hello, My Lumia 610 doesn't display notification (unread messages) for outlook when the screen is locked. However it does display the notification such as missed calls, text messages, face book messages, Gmails, Yahoo emails, Windows live emails. But nothing for Outlook. Can some one please help. WIndows Phone 7.5 has a total of four positions where notifications can be shown on the lockscreen. If these are used further notifications are not shows. You can resolve this by clearing the existing notifications or link your inboxes which will result in the use of a single notification for new mail messages in any of the linked inboxes. You can find more information o this using this link.

Getting double notifications for Outlook 2013 on Windows 8.1 pro

Hi,
I have Outlook 2013 installed on windows 8.1 pro 64bit. I am having an issue with outlook notifications, I am getting 2 notifications for each mail that I receive.
I tried searching for the issue and found that I have desktop alerts enabled in Outlook settings and also windows 8 notifications for outlook in PC settings. Both these options generate their own notifications, so I get 2 notifications for each mail.
When I turned off outlook notifications in PC settings, both the notifications stopped. Then I disabled desktop alerts from outlook settings and started getting only one notification.
The issue is that both these notification look a bit different, outlook desktop alerts also show sender's photo which I prefer and I also have some outlook rules configured to show desktop alerts for only certain mails. So I want the desktop alerts to continue
and stop standard windows 8 notifications for outlook.
Does anyone know how to do that?

Hi,
As far as I know, Outlook email notifications are only shown in Window 8.1 if notifications are enabled in both Outlook and Windows.
I suspect the rules are causing this double notification issue.
You may export all the rules for backup, then start Outlook with the switch "/cleanrules":
Win key + R, type "outlook.exe /cleanrules" in the blank box, press Enter.
Check if the issue persists.
If the issue is gone after running Outlook with "/cleanrules", then let's import these rules back to check the result.
If the issue is back again, please check if any rules trigger the notification twice, use "stop processing more rules" as you need to stop the emails triggering more than one rule.

Scorecard doesn't display data for some selections

Hi,
I have configured a scorecard to display detail data (product quantities for 4 quarters) based on different parameter (product code) selection in other master scorecard. The detail dashboard doesn't display data for all the product codes. It's weird even data is there for the same product code where the scorecard is mapped in the excel however doesn't display. Appreciate if any of you can help me to overcome the issue.
Technology: SAP Dashboard 4.1 SP4, Oracle 11g

Calls from Lumia 610 doesn't transfer to MW600

Hi,
I'm using a Nokia Lumia 610 running Windows Phone 7.5 Mango, using the MW600 with the phone's music works fine. But when a call comes up or I made an outgoing call, no audio from earphones and microphones of MW600. Call audio remains on the handset. Is it a compatibility issue or something else?
Just got the Lumia 610 and still a noob to WP7, I don't know if I miss set some settings or something else. Please help.

I don't have the ability to test MW600 with a Lumia 610 or even a different model running WP7.
It sounds like a compatibility issue (meaning they do not support each other) but I would not take that for true until it's been tested. Can you perhaps do some testing on your own? Do you have a Sony or Sony Ericsson phone at hand you can connect your headset to just to confirm if it works with this phone or not? If you do, please let me know what phone model you're testing with so I can confirm it they should work or not.

I suggest you run Office 365 desktop apps reffering to the steps below: -
Step1: - Login to Office 365 Portals.
Step 2: - In the right pane, click
Downloads under Resources.
Step 3: - Click Set up under
Set up and configure your Office desktop apps.
Moreover, please confirm the password policy by the
PowerShell cmdlet.
Step 1: - Install Micrsoft Online Services Module and connect to Office 365.
Step 2: - Run Connect-Msolservice command.
Step 3: - Get a password policy by the following PowerShell cmdlet:
Get-MsolPasswordPolicy –DomainName yourdomain.com

Help me ditch Outlook! Apple Mail doesn't display messages for all accounts. Thoughts?

I have two IMAP accounts, both GMail. One account always shows messages (Gmail in the screenshot below) but the other usually does not. I've deleted the account, rebuilt it etc and nothing works. When I do get messages to display, as soon as I change folders then go back the messages have disappeared again.
Both accounts are set up the same way. One the account that is not working (Ruddell Consulting in the screen shot), I see the total unread message count under the Mailboxes window but the sort column and preview windows are blank. When viewing the common inbox I only see mail from one account.
I'm trying to get rid of Outlook 2011 but with the same account settings in Outlook 2011 both accounts work as expected so I'm stuck with it until I can get this resolved.

I found the problem. Or at least a workaround. I use Google Mail and some folders in my Gmail account were causing problems for Apple Mail. I removed the folders and Mail works as it should.

SimpleChat doesn't display properly for spark on mobile

I'm using the latest LCCS Spark Beta version. The SimpleChat displays RAW html instead of the styled text, plus it doesn't scroll properly. This problem was posted a few months back but is yet to be resolved. Looking at the LCCS sdk source code, the problem seems obvious: SimpleChat uses the class RichTextArea which the lccs team has created. That class checks to see if "textFlow" exists. If it doesn't as in the case of mobile it just assigns the raw html to the text field which is obviously unacceptable since the user will end up seeing raw html instead of styled text. Below is the problematic code in the lccs RichTextArea class. Is LCCS team supporting mobile devices?

Skype doesn't show notification for new contacts

Hi all,
It started a few months ago. Now i have 6.22.64.106 version and the problem is still there. I set options as following:
anyone can call me
only contacts can chat with me
notify when someone asks for my details
Yet when someone is trying to add me as a contact nothing happens. I have no win notification or a message in a contact list about 'pending contacts' (as i used to). I tried to google this problem and didn't find any solution.
When i add those people back (by searching them) they just appear in my contact list. This is quite annoying as people have to contact me via email/lync/etc.
Am i missing some setting? Thanks for your help

Even on skype web-site it says that i should receive those notifications.

Mail doesn't display properly in outlook

hello
when i send mail using mail.app, it seems to be doing odd stuff without me realising - i need to use rich text so i can use colors, but when it's received by outlook users, the font changes half way through, and little square blocks appear which i can't see on my screen. this is obviously related to that fact that i copied and pasted into my email, but how do i make it appear at their end the same as on mine?
it seems to be that outlook's a bit weird - but how do i be as weird as outlook?
i have the same trouble whereby sometimes, when someone sends me something with special characters in, when i reply or its quoted, the special characters (eg, é) changes to +AOk or something silly like that. how do i stop that?

This can sometimes occur if you are using a font that is not available on the windows machine. It will substitute with it's default font if it cannot find the corect one.
Try a test using a basic font like Arial or Times New Roman and see if you get the same result. IF all looks good, then you've fixed the problem. If it's still mucked up??? Well the you got me, I'm stumped.

Looks like the stationery doesn't display properly in Outlook Web Access. Not that anything else does either, but it's worth noting.

Good news. Our basis team fixed the problem. There were some security settings on our apache server we use that caused the problem. Thought I would post the fix. Thanks for replies.

Bridge CC doesn't display dpx files

We just upgraded from cs5 and there is a huge problem with bridge cc - it doesn't display previews for any dpx files.
I already exported 10bit, 12bit and 16bit dpx files and none of them display!!!
This pretty much makes Bridge useless for any postproduction facility.
We have it installed on 5 separate machines.
PS, AE and Premiere display the files without a problem.

Here are three different dpx fotmats exported form AE CC - 10bit, 12bit and 16bit - none of them displays in Bridge, all open fine in any of the Adobe applications.
Using OSX 10.8.4 and Bridge CC 6.0.1.6 (latest update for CC just appeared last week) and can view the 10 and 16 bit versions without problems in Bridge CC as thumbs and as previews but the the 12 bit version is only a document icon. Select purge cache for selection has no effect
I also can open and view the 12 bit version in AE so the file itself should be OK but here it ends I'm afraid due to next to none experience with AE. Tried to export again but got lost in the wood of options and a save as command saves as an AE project which also can't be viewed in Bridge…

Nokia lumia 610 mms

I have a Nokia lumia 610 and since having it for a month I was unable to use my data I pay for on contract. Also am unable to send or recieve mms messages. I found the network support and did that. My internet is now working but my mms will still not send or recieve. It just says get media content. Then getting media content. Then goes back to the same etc..

Mobile network settings let you control the cellular data connection for your phone. An Access Point Name (APN) is the address your phone uses to connect the internet through your operator network. On the first startup Internet and MMS settings are read from the SIM if available.
Try doing this step:
If you don't already have Network Setup application, download and install the Network Setup application which can be found in the Nokia Collection on Marketplace. Start the application and select your local carrier to setup Internet and MMS settings.
