Lumia 620 images too soft.

Hi, recently I bought a 620, and i found out the picture produced is very soft, lack of sharpness and detail. Anyone experiencing this too?

Lumia 620 double images problem

Hi!
I bought my Lumia 620 few days ago, but theres one major problem with it. When adding images to Galley from my old phone there always appear 2 or 3 copies of one image. When deleting one of them they disappear all. Its the same case no matter if im using Windows Phone App or direct USB connect from Windows. Ive allready updated my USB drivers (using guides found in nokia.fi) since there was some problem but no effect... Help anyone? Thanks.

My solution was to sell my few days old Lumia away and move to Android. Now using Android 4.4 and all i can say is that WP is a **bleep**ing childish piece of **bleep** compared to Android. No offence but really. Im not sure whats the situation now with the current version of WP but i think that first Lumias was made just to test unready software on stupid people.

Lumia 800 - Ringtone and vibration is too soft

I just got the lumia 800 for 2 days.
I found that the ringtone volume is too soft and the vibration is not strong enough (in adddition with the problem of once start vibration in incoming call).
I hope some update can help fix this problems.

My vibration is also quite weak, though it's quite OK when you run the vibration diagnosis.. ##634# or something like that..

Lumia 620 - Vibration Problem

Hey there,
I just bought a lumia 620 last week and updated to Amber in last 3 days. Yesterday, accidently I found out that my vibration stopped working! It was working on morning, but from the evening it stopped for no reason!
Now my phone doesn't vibrate at all! I'd installed a hardware test app too, it doesn't vibrate there too....Already done soft reset, no luck! Since I don't like to give to Nokia Care service (because the support in here is rubbish), is there any way to fix this? Is there any firmware update for this?

There is no firmware update fix for this because it is specific to your phone. Perhaps something went wrong with the update. I would suggest you consider a full reset before heading to Nokia Care. You can do this from Settings>About>reset your phone . Remember to backup your data before doing this.

Lumia 620 randomly freezes and reboots

I knew a cheap windows phone is too good to be true. I've been getting random freezes and reboots without any reason at all. This is unacceptable, nokia should address this windows 8 issue afflicting wp 8 phones. Please don't tell be to do a soft or hard reset because we already know it won't fix the problem.

Hi, everyone. I've been having problems with random reboots ever since I bought my Lumia 620 and it was driving me crazy. It freezes up sporadically too, but I think I found a fix for rebooting issues.
When my cousin bought her Lumia 620 I immediately asked her if hers rebooted sporadically as well. She said it hadn't, not once. Then, one time her battery was dying so I gave her mine, and she left me with her battery and on charger while she went home. Anyway, hers started to reboot frequently, whilst mine was behaving ok.
When we replaced the batteries again, mine began rebooting again.
Finally, I checked both our batteries and found out mine was moving around the device more freely than hers. Hers was held firmly in place while mine danced around. Then I tried moderate, yet gentle tap on the side of my device and it rebooted EVERY TIME I tapped it. After I inserted a small, neatly folded piece of paper between the device and the battery, the battery clicked in place tightly and it couldn't move at all. Reboots stopped, no matter how strong I tapped the sides of the device.
This hasn't resolved any freezes, but at least it's not rebooting all the time. So check your battery, maybe it is a hairline thinner or smaller or whatnot from the rest of them and it can move around. A millisecond is enough for it to lose contact, half a millimeter of movement is enough to cause your phone to reboot. Hope this revelation of mine will help someone

Disappointed with my windows phone!!(lumia 620)

I bought a new lumia 620 as a back up to my android(htc one x+)..but I am very disappointed with some of these glitches..
1. No notification centre..it's really a pain!
2. Can't pay via SIM card to purchase an app..
3. Can't play high mp4, mkv, flv videos though I think the snapdragon s4 is capable to do it..is Nokia waiting for a developer to put up such an app at the store?!!
4. Limited file download size...!!! It's worst...I got an unlimited data plan and don't really have to care..why Microsoft has to protect me!! Instead they should turn it to a feature by allowing the user to decide the restriction..for example: if u have a 1 GB data plan you should be able to set a restriction which would protect you when your overall usage exceeds 1 GB! I feel as if windows is trying to follow APPLE blindly..why make it so complicated instead of user friendly!!
5. My handset does crash and restarts at least once a day..
6. Battery drains out too quickly..something which is not expected from Nokia
7. Very few apps..most of them are **bleep**..if not they are too costly..I even feel Microsoft should reduce the price of app hosting
8. Whenever I share via Bluetooth..my phone hangs for sure and there is no option other than removing my battery and restarting..
9. If any unsupported file format is downloaded I don't know where is it stored..and eats up my memory...
I am even using APPLE IPOD with which I share a better experience than my lumia...
I am sure to ditch this useless paper weight within a month if no improvements appear..
Sorry if my language is rough but it's my frustration with lumia..and I am fed up..expecting a good update...
And these are what I know is all consumers want..Nokia and Microsoft should think about consumers satisfaction above all!!!

Window 8.1 update fro nokia lumia 620

Please I tried updating my nokia lumia 620 to window 8.1 but the device had been stucked in the gear display for the past 5 hours, I have tried the soft/hard reset and battery removal to no avail.

Not sure if some particular application is causing it .. Is it happening only when you use a certain ?
..and you don't need to remove the Battery when this happens. Do a Soft reset : Press and hold Power + Volume(down) keys until the phone vibrates (about 8-10 seconds)...

Lumia 620 Amber update has been made available in india since three days, But I am still not getting it, My phone says it is up to date. Do i have to do something extra to get it.

Lumia 620 can't delete all music tracks

I have tried press and hold on each track but the delete option does not appear. I did manage to delete a few tracks but the last few seem to be un deleteable. As my PC only has XP I can't connect to that. I did remove the SD card and delete the tracks from that but I can't remove any more from the phone memory.

I have experienced that too with the annoying gangnam mp3 on my Lumia 620. I was able to delete it via PC only.

Lumia 620 screen problem.

I have been having this odd problem where the screen doesn't come on when I press the unlock button. At first I thought the phone had hung but after further investigation, I found that it was just the screen that wasn't coming on.
It would still ring when called(can't answer because touchscreen not activated), pressing the camera button would start the camera. I could see the af light coming on when I pressed the camera button but the screen would remain dark. I've been using soft reset to restart the phone.
This has happened 3-4 times in the last month and usually when there's an incoming notification from skype and I tap it to unlock the phone just as the screen goes dark. I'm also using battery widget on the lockscreen but have no idea if that affects anything.
It seems it might be a software problem but I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem or if it is a hardware problem that needs to be fixed. Thanks!

i am now pretty sure that it is a software issue. let me just tell you about a few scenarios where the screen is really quite slow to turn on.
sometimes i have my phone plugged in to a sound system and i use it as an mp3 player. quite regularly i have to wait up to 5 seconds till the screen turns on after pressing the button. sometimes i even have to press it another time. the weird thing is that if i unplug the 3,5mm plug while i wait for the screen turn on, it instantly comes on.strange...
most times the screen is slow to wake up after the phone hasn't been used for longer than 5 minutes. aftyerb having it turned on once, all successive clicks straight after the first one will activate the phone instantly. as if it was a bit sleepy after longer disuse.
i still havn't found any other coreelations between settings and the screen effect. maybe it's got something to do with flight mode, which i have turned on most of the time.
and maybe the upcoming lumia 620 firmware update will solve this problem anyway. who knows when that will actually be delivered though.

Lumia 620 software upgrade issues

My Nokia lumia 620 with windows8 was upgraded to the latest software (amber, i guess) and after this the touchscreen stopped working. The touchscreen was recently replaced.
* Is there a way to go back to the previous version of software (where the touchscreen was accessible)
* Is there a new upgrade planned to resolve the touchscreen problem.

Was the display repalced by an authorised Nokia care Centre ?
Try a Soft Reset (Press Power + Volume(down) keys until the phone vibrates (about 8-10 seconds). Phone will reboot...) and see if the problem gets resolved ..
Also confirm that all the System applications are upto date. You may use THIS application to check..
BTW there is no way to Roll Back the Firmware.

Lumia 620 camera viewfinder quality

I recently got my Lumia 620 and I'm very happy with it. However there seems to be a problem with the camera. In the first attachement, there is a screenshot of how my screen looks like when taking a picture. That doesn't seem right, does it? The picture itself looks just fine, as you can see in the second attachement (didn't really focus, but the difference is clear).
When I point the camera to a bright outdoors scene, the image improves until looks fine.
The front facing camera is just fine.
So, is this a known problem that might be solved with a firmware update in the future, or should I look into returning my camera?

You can try to perform a reset and let see if it will make any changes. To reset your phone, go to Settings > About > Reset your phone.
NOTE: Reset will delete all your data so make sure to backup your files. See this link for more info on how you can perform a backup.

Lumia 620 auto focus not working?

im using lumia 620 .recently ive updated with new os and after that its camera auto focus is not working....every time i capture somthing gives blurry image...how can i solve this problem..?
