Lumia 620 music volume not changing..

I've lumia 620,sometimes the music volume is set on constant level but it is only for audio songs(downloaded from Nokia music or pc ). But if i play music from nokia music/or play videos,games,metrotube... The volume does changes except for music from music+videos. Restarting phone stops the issue for time being but it can not be a solution because it happens every day.(i have tried reseting the phone from settings->about) it doesn't solve the issue.

Go to nokia care when you are facing the problem DO NOT RESTART THE PHONE..(otherwise the issue will be solved for time being)... they will do so called software update..(its like formatting the phone only rarely a firmware update) and the issue will be solved for some time but that is not a long term solution..(the issue comes again after some time).... i did it twice now gonna do it 3rd time if the issue pick again i am gonna pull them to consumer court...

dear all, i found that my lumia 620 earpiece volume is very low/soft. i can hardly hear what the other party is talking. volume is at max. any solution to this?
listening to music is ok. this problem only occur when making/receiving phone calls..

When your in call ensure the volume is at max not just the ringer tone.
Alternatively you can reset device if you wish.
If your phone is unresponsive, or it gets stuck showing Nokia logo, then try this: Press and hold both the Volume down and the Power keys for 15 seconds. This should get your phone to restart properly again. If this does not help, then follow next steps to perform OS reset.
Warning: Resetting your phone will return it to the same state it was in the first time you turned it on. All your personal content in the phone, including text messages and apps that you been purchased and downloaded (may be re-downloaded again) will be erased, and the phone will be restore to the factory settings.
Here are two options to follow, depending on whether you can access your phone's Settings screen or not.
Option 1: About menu
Use this option if you can access your phone's settings.
This option warns about data loss.
On the Start screen, swipe left, select Settings > About > Reset your phone.
Option 2: Hardware key combination
Use this option if you forget or lose the password.
Use this option if the phone fails to fully switch on when pressing the power on key.
Note: No warning about data loss!

Step 1
Make sure the charger is disconnected.
1. Switch the power Off.
2. Press and hold the Volume down and connect the charger, if succeed an exclamation mark (!) is shown on the screen.
Step 2
Then input Keys in the following order:
1. Volume up
2. Volume down
3. Power
4. Volume down
Step 3
The phone will reset and boot up automatically. Please note that this may take several minutes.

Lumia 620 calenler will not sync with windows 8 on...

When I make an entry on my phone calender, Lumia 620, it does not sync with my pc running windows 8.
It does sync the other way round, when I make a diary entry in my calender on the pc the entry does show up on my phone.
On my phone settings (email +account) my Microsoft account and my google account are both added.
My contacts sync both ways OK.

Try this:
Enter an appointment or something
goto Settings >email+account
tap and hold Microsoft account > sync
open http://calendar.live.com
your appointment should be there

My nokia lumia 620 top volume button somehow went inside the phone and I can't increase the volume, its stuck at 0! Is there any way on Windows Phone to increase the volume without the damn key? I need a solution because my warranty is in another town and I won't be there in a week.

I get the issue is annoying, but maybe you should look into getting some different shells. Besides making a fashion statement it'll fix a broken button in no time.. (well a few seconds that is).
Besides.. choice is always good.. As a Dutch national the colour for the next few days will be.. Orange..

GO to Setting > Cellar Data > VPN Settings > Add any user and password under Personal Hotspot, then you will see it's activated again as usual

Lumia 720 volume not changing and freeze

Hello! I m user of Lumia 720. The volume of my phone is not changing while playing music. For ex- If a song is playing at30/30 its volume does not decreases even after playing at 0/30.There is 1 more problem in it, it get freeze at lock screen and touch not respond well (after going to head office). Let's try to perform troubleshooting steps first before sending it back to the repair facility. Aside from rebooting the phone, is your phone's software up to date? Can we have its software version? Lumia 620 Music problem with wired headset

Sometimes when I start listen music with my Lumia 620 using WH-208 headset (great price/quality ratio),music is only heard from left earpiece. Then I switch power off/on and it plays normally. This has happeded before and after Amber update.

Seen that happen on 925 as well. Restart fixed it, my 925 came with Amber pre-installed, not sure if it is some bug.

Volume not changing?

Hi everyone I'm currently having problems using the volume property of the SoundTransform class to change the volume of the sound effects played in the game I am building and was hoping someone here would be able to point out what I'm doing wrong. Essentially I am setting the volume property to various values between 0 and 1 but the volume is not changing in the slightest!
In the main menu of the game there are two slider bars that can be used to adjust the volume of the background music and sound effects respectively. When the user moves the slider a value between 0 and 1 is passed to the SFXHandler class which I have created to handle all sound effects in the game.
Here is a simplified view of the SFXHandler class:

Lumia 620 speaker volume pulsing

I've noticed on my 620 that the volume pulses up and down when playing audio through the speaker on the phone. It's more evident when the volume level is low (between 1 - 5). It sounds like when a compressor is acting on the signal with a slow release.
I did see someone mention this on another forum so it might not just be my phone.

Hi everybody!! I'm a new user of this fantastic nokia phone, and yes, my lumia 620 have the same issue that many of you mentioned: listening any kind of song, expecially in part where the dinamic of the song is low, i can hear that "compressor effect". I do also hear a "pffffffffffffffff" sound that is ever present under the song
I've updated all of the application possible, did try the soft reset and the hard reset but the problem still remain.
..please, mr. and mss. nokia support team, could you please seriousely check if it's a software or a hardware issue?!
I think it's in nokia's interest solving this issue as fast as possible, or they will see thousand and thousand of fantastic lumia 620 "coming back home" for a problem that maybe could be solved with a software update!

Lumia 620 (Amber) does not find a Bluetooth 4.0 he...

I purchased a BT4 heart rate monitor (Polar H6) after my Lumia 620 got the Amber update as the update promised to bring BT4 support to my phone. On the Nokia specifications page for my phone also states that Lumia 620 supports "Bluetooth 4.0 + LE". However, my phone does not find the heart rate monitor and I cannot pair the devices. It does find older bluetooth devices and the heart rate monitor worked fine on my friends iPhone.
Is there really support for BT4 LE in Lumia 620? Has anyone gotten Lumias to work with BT4 devices?

ok well my volume seems to work fine cept for one thing...
Ive tried this, and i put a songs volume setting on itunes to all the way up, and then i tried to see how loud it'd go on my ipod....well when i turned the volume halfway up on the ipod, it was loud as it could go, yet when i kept turning it up, it wouldn't go any louder, and when i didn't have that song set on full volume on itunes, it would usually take the ipod volume all the way up to match what halfway did with the new setting....tho with the new setting, halfway up was the final point of anything getting louder....im just wondring why my ipods volume wont change from a certain loudness point....even tho the volume bar has much more space to turn it up....

well idk if my ipod secretly came from europe or what but the volume point on it isn't really that loud =/.....is there anyway to like...unblock that program?

When I go to File > Get Info and try to adjust the volume for a specific video, it doesn't change. I drag the slider both left and right, and it remains the same volume. It works perfectly for music, however. I was wondering if anyone could help me out?

Lumia 620 lock button not working

Hi there, new to posting,
had my 620 about 6 months now (2nd hand) and recently the middle button on the side to lock has got less and less responsive. Even if i take the back cover off and expose the buttons themselves i still have to hold down the screen down quite hard and press to lock, the other buttons on the side still respond perfectly. Is this a problem that can be repaired in a shop or Nokia centre?
