Microsoft says the latest update for my Lumia is Denim
why i cant get Denim ?

Therefore, did you consider to create a new thread just for that issue? In that new thread, please, mention: Windows Phone » menu » (do not open but long tap) WhatsApp:
A) Are you able to uninstall WhatsApp this way or
B) is Uninstall not available in that menu, or
C) is Uninstall grey?

@jode Welcome to the Nokia Support Discussions.
Can you tell us the current firmware version number of your phone? To check, you may go to Settings > About. Do you have a stable Wi-Fi or a cellular data connection? You may also try activating and de-activating the Airplane mode under Settings. Also, check if there's an update for the phone system apps. See this: Lumia System Updater And then, try again.
Let us know how it will go.

Lumia 720 update problem

Amber or Black? What's the current Firmware Revision number of your phone? What can you see under Settings > Extras+Info? Any chance 'Lumia Amber' is displayed? Have you tried manually checking for an update? Go to Settings > Phone Update.

Lumia 625 IE problem

Hello everybody.
I updated my 625 to Cian and the browser is not working properly. It freezes, closes and can't decode the videos from Youtube.
Is there any fix? Before the update it worked perfect.

Hi, Bogdan85Alex. Welcome to our Microsoft Mobile Community. Have you tried clearing the cache and history of your browser? To do so, go to IE> Ellipsis (...)> settings> delete history. You may also try checking if all the system apps on your phone are up to date. See here. Let us know the outcome.

Lumia 625 update

When I update my lumia625 it always shows error code. My battery is full and space is also available arround 3 gb but I cant do update. Because it shows every time error when downloading of update reaches 3% or 4% . So please give me any solution so that I can update cyan update. Thank you

@pandey625 in the Nokia Software Recovery Tool, what is your 7-letter code (Nokia Product Code)? No Windows computer or USB: The same 7-letter code (059…) is printed on your phone. That code determines your firmware variant which determines your current version. We can check together which variant you, only with that code.

Lumia 630 update problem

I am on developers preview, I get notification that update is available but after downloading 3% it Again says update available and starts over , this loop goes on, tried restarting but no help. Suggest something.

Let’s see what we can do to fix this, MaartenV. Make sure that the phone's system apps are updated. Go to Store>...>settings>check for updates. Lumia 625 calendar problem

Often, but not every time, i enter a calendar event at say 10:00, but the phone changes the time to 09:00. It's alway 1 hour earlier when the time changes.

Black Update for Lumia 625

Could someone help me? I have a Lumia 625 and I wanted to update it to Lumia Black. I always look at this website (http://www.nokia.com/global/support/software-update/wp8-software-update/wp8-availability-in-asia-pac... to check tha availability of the update. I'm from the Philippines and the website says Black update is already available in Lumia 625 but I check for updates in the Settings and it just says: "Your phone is up to date. I bought the phone from UAE. What could be the problem with my phone? Please help me.

@Abi99 Good news! I think I got the update via the Nokia Software Recovery Tool because I'm so curious about the program when I last checked my product code. It says that I can install the update 3056.40000.1349.2001 ( I'm sorry I didn't took a screenshot of it from my computer because of my excitement) I followed the instructions and it started downloading . It took almost an hour before it completed the download. My phone started rebooting and then the Nokia logo was shown (with a red background and a status bar) so I thought it is already installing the update to my phone. It took 20 minutes to install. Again it rebooted and started like normal. My apps were wiped-out by the update. The initial setup also appeared (thank God I had a backup on the cloud). I went to the Settings>extras+info and to my surprise, it shows that it already runs Black update. Did I just did the right thing to update it via Nokia Software Recovery Tool?

Lumia Black update doesnt appear on my Lumia 625.

I have a lumia 625 which was gifted to me by my parents from Dubai. Im not able to see an update for my phone. Whenever I check for any new software updates, it always says that the phone is uptodate. Im wondering if it is because the phone is from Dubai that im not able to update the software in India.
Could anyone please help me out if there is any solution to this problem?

That would be the phone product code. It should also show on the product sticker which usually either in the battery compartment or on the SIM tray.

Lumia 625 windows bluetooth headset problems

Using a Plantronics voyager edge headset on a Lumia 625 with windows 8.1 often results in a audio stream that is interupted 3 or 4 times a second.
Already changed the phone, bought a higer bluetooth version headset (4.0 vs. 2.1 ) but still no solution.
Heard rumours that it is a known problem, and that a lumia 930 does not have this problem.
Plantronics and Nokia/Microsoft are apparently working on it, but no info on when it will be solved.
Anyone with the same experience, and anyone that knows a workaround?

Problem emerged as of starting to use the 625 with a plantronics Discovery 975.
Did all the things requested by nokia support, power cycle, factory reset, etc.
Phone was exchanged for a new one without result.
Bought the latest blutooth version headset from Plantonics, the voyager edge, problem happens slightly les frequent now but still remains.
Im running out of options.

Nokia Lumia 625 and wifi-facebook problem

I have the ordinary problem with nokia lumia 625...everything works except facebook (when using wifi at home)...facebook app wont load,news feed in People tile wont load,internet explorer loads every page except facebook (nokia xpress has no problem)...only thing that works is facebook chat in messages...i have done firmware update of the router (belkin) and it didnt work i really dont know where the problem can be...any other devices works fine (even lumia 800 had no problems), any other pages or apps work fine on wifi and facebook works on other wifis--belkin support says it is a problem of this model of the phone not in the router

We just purchased a brand new nokia lumia 625 and are also experiencing problems with Facebook, cannot download newsfeed, also purchased a lumia 630 and have no problem using Facebook on that phone, Facebook also works on all our iPads and pcs, can only be a problem with the phone

Lumia 920 - Black update problems, slow app respon...

I have had a lumia for well over a year in the UK, I updated to the black update a week ago, and the phone became completely unresponsive, similar to theDej's problem here: http://discussions.nokia.com/t5/Nokia-Lumia/Phone-inoperative-after-lumia-black-update/m-p/2372351/h...
However, I contacted the carrier (EE) and they replaced the handset. I set up the replacement handset, which then prompted for the update, and I took the plunge and applied it again.
Now, although the handset mostly works, some apps have stopped functioning, and most importantly the WiFi settings and Bluetooth settings pages often become completely unresponsive, drop their connections, and dont show any available connections, so I cant reconnect to WiFi or bluetooth without restarting the phone. Also on some occasions, turning off the phone shows the "goodbye" screen, but either doesn't turn off and returns to the home screen or it magically restarts without me pressing the power button.
Has anyone come across any issues like this, is there anything I can do?

Please, try the Nokia Software Recovery Tool and report your results. We have a lot of Bluetooth/Wi-Fi issues reports since Lumia Black – no problem here. However, we have so many, sounds like several different issues.

Lumia 625 black update

I got update for my Lumia 625 ,I installed it and after been finished I can't find any difference and I opened the extras&info sill showing amber software how can I know that the black update is on my device know although its fully installed and the phone restarted and told me update is full

It's not obvious that your phone has been upgraded.
Go to settings > Extras + Info.
It'll tell you the software release version
But...... have a look at

Another BUT..... The Nokia Glance screen is not availble for the Nokia Lumia 625.
One wonders why Nokia doesn't tell you this, you have to search for stuff on their website and only at the bottom does it tell you that the Glance software isn't available - VERY Unimpressed.

Lumia 625 not registering update

My Lumia 625 is not updating to Lumia black I go to phone update and it says my phone is upto date yet on my extras and info there is an exclamation mark on my Lumia amber software meaning that I need to update.......ive checked availability and yes it is available.........

Did you try the Nokia Software Recovery Tool already? There in that tool, what is your Nokia Product Code? Does that code match the one which is printed on the label of your phone (seven characters)? The Nokia Product Code determines your firmware variant which determines your current version. We can check together, only with this code!
@deepakpdeepu which firmware do you have? Lumia Amber or Lumia Black?

Unable to update my Nokia Lumia 625

I am unable to update my Nokia Lumia 625 to Lumia black update. Its been several months since Lumia black update has been released but still I am unable to update it. It says your phone is up to date.

Otherwise, your phone might be running on a custom firmware made exclusively to your network provider and the update for it might have not been released yet.
