Lumia 630 Dual: E-Mail Account settings locked / g...

I use my own servers (owncloud and baikal-server) for syncing contacts and dates. In settings "email + accounts" i switched of calendar and contacts sync for testing purposes (=install of a new server). Now these settings are not accessible. They are statet "syncing" and greyed out, so i can`t change anything with these accounts. A "delete" for these accounts ins't also accessible.
Soft reset (on/off + volume down) or switching off/on didn't change this behavoir.
Any idea (beside a full reset), how to catche these settings? Th@nx!

We are here to help. The error code 80070490 appears when trying to download an app from Store and is caused by incomplete information in your Microsoft (MS) account profile. However, if you want to remove the MS account on your phone due to a misspelt username, you will need to reset your phone to factory settings. You can do that by going to Settings> about. Syncing mail account settings on iPhone 4?

I'm getting my iPhone 4 replaced today and was going thru a sync. Everything is working fine as I use iCloud however...when I went to plug in my iPhone and over to "Info" and down to "Sync Mail Accounts" it won't let me check mark the box for syncing mail account settings.
I want to sync the mail accounts (not messages or anything) just the mail account settings so that I won't have to manually put them in on the new phone.
Ideas?

User error: I had enabled the selection to dis-allow changes under the password lock and restrictions options then disabled the passcode lock with still stopped me from making any changes to my email account settings.

What settings did you change, what were the changes, have you visited www.icloud.com to see what mail is actually there? and do you have a backup?

Sim 02 apn disappears in nokia lumia 630 dual sim

I have Nokia Lumia 630 Dual Sim. I purchased in Sept 2014.
Right Now I have two sim cards. Sim 01 : BSNL and Sim 02 : Tata Docomo (microsim)
I can access Sim 01 internet only. Whenever I want to use Sim 02.
I type APN address in APN Text box "TATA.DOCOMO.INTERNET" then add IP type in text box "IPv4"
and save. It disappears when I back to confirm in add Internet APN. This happens only with Sim 02.
I have tried so much time finaly i called to Nokia care. Executive told me to simple shut down process holding down volume minus and off button for 10 to 15 seconds and restart mobile. but all in vein.

Is this related? There is a software bug, until this is fixed, you can have a custom APN for one SIM only. Therefore, did you create a custom APN for both SIM? Do you really need that? BSNL and Tata DOCOMO are not offered as ‘profile’?

Lumia 630 Dual sim IMEI Not Matching

I'm from Sri Lanka. I bought a Lumia 630 Dual sim phone recently. When i search my IMEI number from this

it shows K800 (sony erricson) which is not relevant to my IMEI number. Please be kind enough to give me a feedback on this matter.

The thing to remember is that these web sites are not using information gained from any official source such as the industry body that issues IMEI numbers or the manufacturers that make the phones, they are using information that they gather from other sources and supplement in real time as people like yourself use their web site.
If you have any reason to doubt the legitimacy of any phone from any manufacturer, your safest course of action is contact the manufacturer.

I was just about to buy a Nokia Lumia 630 Dual SIM here in Thailand , my mobile SIM card only works of the 3G band - 850Hhz , I was told by the sales person that the Nokia Lumia 630 Dual SIM only has the 3g frequencys of
HSDPA 900 / 2100
but the One SIM version has the 3g frequencys of WCDMA/HSDPA Quad Band 850/900/1900/2100 MHz
I know that mobile phones can be different 3 g frequencies in different countries , but I wondered what you guys thought .

Sync Mail Account Settings

Hi All,
I have two machines:
MacPro OS 10.7.2
MacBookPro OS 10.7.2
I am using iCloud to sync info between them.
Me.com used to allow you to syncronize mail account settings, and iCloud does not, so I have two questions:
1. Is there anyway to sync mail account settings between two computers?
2. If not, can you export a file that contains the settings from one computer to import it into another?

Thanks for your response.
You don't mention whether you are looking in iTunes or Finder. However, it does not really matter: either way I do not see emails as a sync option.
Under Finder, my iPad is not showing as a separate device.
Under iTunes under Devices, when I click on my iPad, I see lots of tabs (Summary, Info, Apps, Movies, Music, TV Shows, Podcasts, iTunesU, Books and Photos) but no Mail.
I ended up creating each Mail account individually, so this issue is not really resolved but I found a workaround.

just as i've posted the same issue here hope that someone could give us a hand. I have just swtched from nokia to iPhone for my company cell and i have more than 1000 contacts... it would be murder to create those contacts one by one )))))

I've rec'd a few errors related to syncing Mail, but none have had this specific wording. If you haven't already, try quitting Mail before syncing. Also, make sure that you're not in your Settings areas on the iPhone before syncing. Hope this helps!

Unable to acces e-mail account settings after restoring a back-up

I’m helping my uncle regarding problems and requests he has about his BlackBerry Bold 9000. We made some (unsuccessful) sync tests (with BlackBerry Desktop Manager for Mac, last version as of 2010-02-25). We back-upped and restored all his data several times. After that, we realized that it was impossible to change his e-mail accounts settings. We searched everywhere, but it was impossible to find back the menu. Even worse, when going to the help web page from his BlackBerry to try to set up e-mail from start (which worked previously), we got a message like “Desktop browser not supported. Please access this page from your BlackBerry”.
Does anyone know where to change the e-mail account settings ?

Reset the device.
Hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button and the Home button down at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

Importing Outlook 2010 Mail account settings from one copy of Office 2010, to another copy of Office 2919

I am trying to export my E-mail ACCOUNT settings from one copy of Outlook 2010 so that I can import them in another copy of Office 2010 on a different computer. Again, BOTH computers have Office 2010 on them. While I can move the PST file, my
E-mail account information never comes across. How can I do that without having to enter each account separately. Also is it normal for the E-mail accounts to show up as DATA FILES rathan than E-MAIL FILES? I've never come this in the past.

I used this solution to recreate a profile I was using under one Windows 7 account in another account on the same machine. The profile was successfully recreated but I noticed that the email accounts in the profile were still pointing to the data files from
the other account, which is not surprising at all.
Unfortunately no easy way exists for re-pointing email accounts to alternate file locations. I have five different email accounts in this profile (2 IMAP, 2 Outlook Hotmail Connector and one Exchange), and looks like there are solutions and workaround for
each type of account which work with varying degrees of success.
