Lumia 720 : its not unlocking

m using lumia 720. Recently wen i tuk the phone, the phone itself was typing some passwords to unlock the screen. It continued for some seconds and everytime its showing wrong password and continue after 2 thn 4 seconds so on. Nw wen i switchd off ma phone and
on it again dates and time r different and it sayin tat wait for 42250
minuts to unlock. Why its so happening?? I tried tat volume down
and power key too...but nothing is workin here...

Hi Skm93! Are you sure that the keys are input correctly? If yes, it's best to bring the phone to a Nokia Care Point for assessment. Well, you can try to input the keys for the 1-2 times more.

Nokia Lumia 720 Touch not working even after repla...

I had bought lumia 720 on 31/05/2013 , but on 28/12/2013 the touch was not working or the touch was working on its own. Since my phone was in warranty then, they replaced the touch free of cost. But again from 20/08/2014 my phone is having the same problem, touch not working. When i showed it to Nokia care, they told that again they need to replace the touch , it will cost around Rs. 7950 (since my phone was out of warranty this time)... My question is, within 1 year 2 months , twice the touch pad has problem. What kind of phone it is .... Please think before buying Nokia touch phones, I think still they are far behind in touch screen technology ( no offense :-) )....
Not only me, one of my friend also facing same problem with Lumia 720 ....

Not beeing familiar with other countries consumer laws and consumer rights, I can only speak for my self and Norway. But as far as I'm concerned I would have expected extended rights for the new parts and the labour. - If however the fault can relate to the parts involved with the mentioned replacement.
But if this is not possible in your country, there isn't much to do other than repair it for pay or leave it.

Lumia 720 volume not changing and freeze

Hello! I m user of Lumia 720. The volume of my phone is not changing while playing music. For ex- If a song is playing at30/30 its volume does not decreases even after playing at 0/30.There is 1 more problem in it, it get freeze at lock screen and touch not respond well (after going to head office). I had visited Nokia center for 3 times and my phone has also gone to Nokia's head office when i submitted it. I got my mobile 1 week ago bt the problem remain same. I m a huge Nokia fan bt after buying this phone MERA BHAROSA NOKIA SE UTHTA JA RAHA HAI.Please make some solution otherwise people will not trust on u and they will not buy your Phone. Let's try to perform troubleshooting steps first before sending it back to the repair facility. Aside from rebooting the phone, is your phone's software up to date? Can we have its software version? You wrote @simply because the 820 is not associated with a 'gorilla' does not make it inferior to lower models@ - IT DOES. Gorilla is known as scratch resistant, tough glass. This place these screens much higher than others.
Now, show me any OFFICIAL nokia statement that glass used in Lumia 820 is scratch resistant or is anyhow more resistant for damages than any other glass??? Somehow I cannot find official statement. So all other statements are rumours only.

FORCE IPAD INTO RECOVERY MODE
1. Turn off iPad
2. Turn on computer and launch iTunes (make sure you have the latest version of iTune)
3. Plug USB cable into computer's USB port
4. Hold Home button down and plug the other end of cable into docking port.
DO NOT RELEASE BUTTON until you see picture of iTunes and plug
5. Release Home button.
ON COMPUTER
6. iTunes has detected iPad in recovery mode. You must restore this iPad before it can be used with iTunes.
7. Select "Restore iPad"...
Note:
1. Data will be lost if you do not have backup
2. If you did not do step 4 properly, start all over again.

Bought new lumia 720, got promo offer of 2GB 3G data, but not yet activated on my lumia. Idea support does not have any clue on it.
More over on idea 3g handset support matrix and settings page Lumia 720 is not even listed. Wondering do they update their support team on new promos or website with new content.

same here, I also bought a Lumia 720 and it is mentioned in the pack about Idea offer of 2GB 3G internet free for 2 months. But now Idea customer support saying there is no such offer from their side. Can anybody give any clue what to do.

I am trying to install Whatsapp on Lumia 720. Its getting stuck in "creating favourites", I tried re-installing after performing a soft reset, however no luck.

i also bought a lumia 720. And, iam also facing the same problem of message apps not working. in fact i tried watsapp, nimbuzz and g-chat. All these are getting installed sucessfully.. but not working.
in watsapp.. -connection state= ''NOT CONNECTED''
in nimbuzz - ''couldn't connected to nimbuzz''
in gchat - ''loading contacts..''
but iam able to browse, use facebook, gmail, etc,... just the chat apps are not working.

In Some part Touch is not Working in Lumia 720

I got my lumia 720 three months back.
It was working fine.
Suddenly day before yesterday my 3 touch keys(back,search,windows) didnt work.
So i reset my phone.
And after that i found that, From bottom to about 2.5 cm touch is not at all working throughout that area.
Please help me.
After reset two options ll be there. Emergency call and get started. M not able to select any. Because it is within that area where touch is not working

What reset did you perform? Is this by going to Settings > About? Did you also try to press the down volume and power keys together for 10-15 seconds?
If the touch screen is completely unresponsive, sending the phone to a Nokia Care Point is what I'd suggest.

My Lumia 720 theme is not working after Amber upda...

Hi,
Today I updated my Lumia 720 with amber update . I got all the new feature like Glance , color profile etc. but now theme color are is not working. On change of theme color, tiles color is not changing. Tiles are always in black color.
I am also not able to set lockscreen image it is always coming blank black screen.
Please suggest.

I saw cidya aap so i m not sure if it was jailbroken or not before but it is back to normal settings.
My problem started when I tried to sync my music files. I pressed 'sync' all it says is waiting for sync start, preparing to sync and then waiting for the changes to be applied. but it does not sync at all.
I found a way to sync my music files through autofill but I really wanted to sync ringtones but its not syncing and I really wanted to put ringtones in my phone please help.

If you see the cidya app, your iPhone is hacked with the cutsie term for this being jailbroken. This also means all the built in security has been removed making the iPhone as insecure as an android device.
Restore the iPhone with iTunes as a new iPhone or not from the backup to get rid of that hacking garbage. If the iPhone has hacked to be unlocked, the iPhone will no longer be unlocked when doing so.

I think you will need to restore to the itunes computer you normally sync to.
So you'll have to wait until you come back from your trip.

Lumia 720 volume down button not working

Hey buddies, I'm using lumia 720 and often i get this volume down button not working.
I changed the button by giving it in nokia care for 3times and still im facing the same problem.
And also noticed that this is happening to most of the lumia 720's.
so kindly look into it and rectify the problem as soon as possible.
If there is any solution for this, kindly reply me.

Your only solution would be to return the unit back to nokia care for inspection,if there is a recurring issue with this im sure nokia would be aware of it now,and it could be a slight manufacturing defect which again would be looked into.

Nokia Lumia 720 down volume button not working aft...

Hi just got my Lumia 720 25 days back and now i'm having this issue going on started from today after I wake up my phone the down volume button does not work for a while. What i noticed is until i press the Up volume button the down volume button does not respond anuthing. Is that a software problem ? Because i feel like if i press it little harder than usual it start working fine.
Not sure what to do ? Like it will get resolved with an upcoming update or an hardware issue ? Should I need to check with the Nokia Care.
I already tried to do a soft reset thrice but it still the same. Someone please help !

Even I have the same issue with my Newly purchased nokia lumia 720... Sometime the volume down buttons works perfectly and with time is doesn't work at all is this a software issue... i am facing this since i have downloaded an audio update.... i m tired of resetting the settings i am tired visiting service centers, as they are asking me to leave my phone for 15-20 days as the part is not available with them and my question is. if there is a hardware issue then is should stop working but in my case sometimes it works as perfect as the day i bought the device and sometimes it doesn't work at all. Will this issue be fixed with Amber update... What is the appropriate solutions for this matter please reply......
